  • 본 논문은 공간벡터 변조 방법에서부터 Six-step 동작까지의 새로운 과변조 방법을 제시하였다. 극전압을 푸리에 시리즈를 이용하여 분석하였고 지령 상전압에서부터 펄스 폭 변조 스위칭 신호까지의 알고리즘을 제안하였다. Matlab 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

A Simple Method for Conducting Angle Calculation of Switching Devices in Cascaded Inverters Using Step Pulse Waves (스텝 펄스파를 사용하는 캐스케이드 인버터에서 스위치의 간단한 도통각 계산법)

  • In recent years, the multilevel inverter synthesizing the output voltage with step pulse has been widely used rather than PWM method as a solution for high power and high voltage applications. This method takes advantage of lower switching losses due to one switching for one period. This paper proposes a simple method to obtain the conducting angle. This method is implemented by using voltage-second areas of the divided reference voltage according to the output voltage levels. It Is possible to reduce an amount of calculation because it is not required to solve the simultaneous equations by an iterative method. Also, the proposed method can get the conducting angle by means of on-line.

  • This paper analyzes the performance of two three-leg inverters and a five-leg inverter and proposes the optimal operation conditions in applying the five-leg inverter for the train propulsion system. The five-leg inverter offers a saving of two switches compared with the standard two three-leg inverters and it is possible to control two three-phase motors independently by using a control board. All of these features lead to a potential reduction in capital cost and miniaturization of system. In this paper, first, the analysis of the existing motor control method and PWM method for two-traction motor drive of urban railway is implemented. Next, the operation principle and performance of five-leg inverter is introduced. Through the analysis, when it applies the same motor control method and the same PWM method for three-leg inverter and five-leg inverter, the characteristic of motor's speed and torque is compared.

A Study on the Autonomous Driving Algorithm Using Bluetooth and Rasberry Pi (블루투스 무선통신과 라즈베리파이를 이용한 자율주행 알고리즘에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, lane recognition, steering control and speed control algorithms were developed using Bluetooth wireless communication and image processing techniques. Instead of recognizing road traffic signals based on image processing techniques, a methodology for recognizing the permissible road speed by receiving speed codes from electronic traffic signals using Bluetooth wireless communication was developed. In addition, a steering control algorithm based on PWM control that tracks the lanes using the Canny algorithm and Hough transform was developed. A vehicle prototype and a driving test track were developed to prove the accuracy of the developed algorithm. Raspberry Pi and Arduino were applied as main control devices for steering control and speed control, respectively. Also, Python and OpenCV were used as implementation languages. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology was confirmed by demonstrating effectiveness in the lane tracking and driving control evaluation experiments using a vehicle prototypes and a test track.

  • 논문에서는 SPWM인버터의 출력파형을 개선하고 고조파 성분을 저감시키기 위한 방법으로 스위칭 기법과 LC필터를 제안한다. 스위칭 기법은 일정 고조파 이하를 제거할수 있으나 스위칭 손실을 수반함으로 고차 고조파를 제거하기에는 제약이 많은 따른다 LC필터는 고조파 성분들을 제거할 수 있으나 출력파형의 왜곡을 초래한다. 본 연구에서는 스위칭 기법으로 기뜬 주파수 근처의 고조파를 제거하고 LC필터를 이용하여 나머지 고조파 성분을 제거하는 방법을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검토하여 보았다. LC필터의 출력파형 왜곡을 보상하기 위하여 필터에 저항을 직렬 연결하였다.

  • Two existing continuous-time models for the current-mode control have presented noticeable differences in their small-signal predictions. As an attempt to clarify the origin of these disparities, this paper presents an alternative way of deriving a continuous-time model for the current-model control. The results of this paper would provide insights to comprehend the dissimilarity in the modeling method and final results of the earlier models of current-mode control models.

  • 최근 전력수요가 늘어남에 따라 전력공급의 부족 현상이 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 이런 문제점의 예방책으로써 Energy Storage System (ESS)가 고려되고 있으며, 그 중 가정용 ESS는 3kW 정도의 용량이 선호되고 있다. 이러한 레벨의 용량을 갖는 ESS는 40~50V의 공칭전압으로 설계하는 것이 일반적이다. 3kWh 급 가정용 ESS를 220V 교류 계통과 연계하기 위해 계통 연계 인버터는 낮은 ESS의 배터리 전압을 승압하여야 한다. 이 때, 인버터의 AC 출력 전압을 증가하는 방법으로 상용주파수의 변압기를 사용하는 방법을 생각할 수 있다. 이때 LC필터는 변압기의 1차 측 또는 2차 측에 설치 될 수 있다. 후자의 경우 Power Conditioning System (PCS)에 의한 스위칭 주파수의 구형파를 상용변압기에 통과시킬 때 변압기 내의 기생성분들이 나타나는 현상으로 인하여 출력효율이 낮아지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 가정용 ESS의 스위칭 파형에 따른 상용 변압기의 특성에 대하여 연구한다.

Assessment of uncertainty associated with parameter of gumbel probability density function in rainfall frequency analysis (강우빈도해석에서 Bayesian 기법을 이용한 Gumbel 확률분포 매개변수의 불확실성 평가)

  • Rainfall-runoff modeling in conjunction with rainfall frequency analysis has been widely used for estimating design floods in South Korea. However, uncertainties associated with underlying distribution and sampling error have not been properly addressed. This study applied a Bayesian method to quantify the uncertainties in the rainfall frequency analysis along with Gumbel distribution. For a purpose of comparison, a probability weighted moment (PWM) was employed to estimate confidence interval. The uncertainties associated with design rainfalls were quantitatively assessed using both Bayesian and PWM methods. The results showed that the uncertainty ranges with PWM are larger than those with Bayesian approach. In addition, the Bayesian approach was able to effectively represent asymmetric feature of underlying distribution; whereas the PWM resulted in symmetric confidence interval due to the normal approximation. The use of long period data provided better results leading to the reduction of uncertainty in both methods, and the Bayesian approach showed better performance in terms of the reduction of the uncertainty.

Design of Control Method for ON/OFF Type Actuation System Considering Actuation Limit (구동한계를 고려한 ON/OFF 형식 구동시스템의 구동위치 제어기법 설계)

  • In this paper, it is accomplished to design a control method for such an actuation system of simplified ON/OFF mechanism with actuation command limit. First of all, based on experimental data, the modeling works for nonlinear/linear actuation dynamics are performed, which are govern by PWM command as a control input. Using the linearized model, a classical PI control method is designed to satisfy the aimed control performance requirements, and a control algorithm is proposed to realize the required control performance in the effective control region through resolving the issue for the PWM command limit which reduces the control performance. Finally, through control simulations, the design method is verified and the corresponding control performance improvement is evaluated.

  • 본 논문에서는 쿼드콥터 드론의 충돌방지를 위한 효율적인 자동제어 방법을 제안한다. 이 제어방법은 RC 조종기에서 노브를 이용하여 사용자가 제어하는 신호를 쿼드콥터의 리시버단에서 수신한 뒤 출력되는 PWM 신호들 중에서 쓰로틀, 피치, 롤 제어정보를 필요시 변경하는 방법으로 충돌을 방지한다. 충돌을 예측하기 위해서 전후, 좌우, 상하 6방향에 레이저 거리측정센서를 장착하고 주기적으로 거리를 측정한다. 그리고 측정 거리를 이용하여 장애물 유무를 판정하고 충돌이 예상되면 수신된 PWM 신호를 변경하여 쿼드콥터의 비행제어부로 전달함으로써 충돌을 방지하도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 충돌방지 방법을 쿼드콥터에 적용하여 실험을 통해 검증한 결과, 조종자 부주의 혹은 조종 미숙으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 충돌을 방지할 수 있어 안전성이 향상됨을 보였다.
