태양전지모듈의 기계적 하중시험에 따른 전기적 특성 분석 (The Analysis of Electrical Characteristics of PV Module according to Mechanical Load Test)

  • In this paper. we analyze electrical characteristics of photovoltaic module according to mechanical load test. Using the equipment for giving load on the surface of module, dark current-voltage is measured. By varying load from 0kg to 206kg, slight different I-V curve is detected. From this, reduced shunt resistance is roughly calculated and micro crack is assumed to be happened. system Through this experiment, periodic external force on PV module might give an negative effect. The detailed analysis is described in the following paper.

Center of Gravity and a Characterization of Parabolas

  • Archimedes determined the center of gravity of a parabolic section as follows. For a parabolic section between a parabola and any chord AB on the parabola, let us denote by P the point on the parabola where the tangent is parallel to AB and by V the point where the line through P parallel to the axis of the parabola meets the chord AB. Then the center G of gravity of the section lies on PV called the axis of the parabolic section with $PG=\frac{3}{5}PV$. In this paper, we study strictly locally convex plane curves satisfying the above center of gravity properties. As a result, we prove that among strictly locally convex plane curves, those properties characterize parabolas.

  • We tried to find the possibility of mono-crystalline silicon solar cell for photovoltaic concentrating system which is major cost portion for PV system using fresnel lens. With solar simulator and I-V curve tracer, we analyzed maximum output characteristics and measured the temperature of concentrated area using infrared camera. Because of temperature increase, there was no merit when concentrating. But at low radiant power, it showed more efficient operation. The combination of heat-sink technology and tracking system to our concentrating PV system would give better performance results.

PHV 척도를 기준한 피하지방후, 근과 골 변인의 사춘기 발육분출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Adolescent Growth Spurt of Skinfold, Muscle and Bone Variables Aligned on Peak Height Velocity in Boys and Girls)

  • 인간의 신체적 발육에 있어서 현저한 변화를 보이며, 다른 연령기에 비해 신체교육의 가능성이 크다고 인식되는 아동기와 사춘기 남 녀를 대상으로 생리학적 연령의 PHV 척도를 기준한 피하지방후, 근과 골 변인의 사춘기 발육분출 변화 양상을 분석 평가 하였다. 신장의 PHV 출현은 남자의 경우 $13{\sim}14$세 사이 이며, 여자는 2년 빠른 $11{\sim}12$세 사이인 것으로 나타났다. 체지방의 4개부위에 대한 피하지방후합은 남자의 경우 PHV 출현 -2년에 $8.9mm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로, 여자는 PHV 출현 +2년에 $11.3mm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로 PV에 각각 도달 하였으며, 남 녀 모두 사춘기발육분출 에서 증감의 변동이 많은 양상을 나타내었다. 상완골폭에 있어서 남자의 경우 PHV 출현 -3년과 +2년에 $0.6cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$$0.5cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로 2번의 PV에 도달하는 bi-modal 현상을 보였고, 여자는 PHV 출현 -1년에 $0.3cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로 PV에 도달하였다. 대퇴골폭에 있어서 남자는 PHV 출현과 동일시점에 $0.4cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로, 여자는 PHV 출현 -2년에 $0.4cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로 각각 PV에 도달하였다. 근육의 상완이두근 최대위에 있어서 남자는 PHV 출현 +2년에 $2.6cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$, 여자는 PHV 출현 +1년에 $1.0cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로 PV에 각각 도달 하였고, 하퇴위에 있어서 남자는 PHV 출현 +2년에 $1.9cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$, 여자는 PHV 출현과 동일한 시점에 $1.6cm{\cdot}yr^{-1}$로 PV에 도달 하였다. 전체적으로 보아 PHV 척도를 기준으로한 피하지방후 발육의 경우, 남자는 PHV 출현 이전, 여자는 PHV 출현이후, 골의 발육은 남 녀 모두 PHV 출현 이전, 근육의 발육은 남 녀 모두 PHV출현 이후 PV에 각각 도달하는 양상을 보였다.

  • This paper presents results of comparing CSC HVDC with VSC HVDC on the stability in case of connecting Haenam to Jeju electrical power system, the steady-state stability in the case of Jeju electrical power system with CSC HYDC or VSC HVDC, is validated through PV curve, QV curve of Jeju electrical power system. And in the case of CSC HVDC, it is considered that synchronous condenser is connected or not. The results are compared each other. PSS/E simulation tool is used for the steady-state stability analysis.

가변 IC 방법을 이용한 태양광 발전의 MPPT 제어 (MPPT Control of Photovoltaic using Variable IC Method)

  • This paper proposes variable incremental conductance(IC) algorithm for maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control of photovoltaic. The conventional perturbation & observation(PO) and IC MPPT control algorithm generally uses fixed step size. A small step size reduces a tracking error in the steady state but slows a tracking speed in the transient state. Also, a large step size is fast a tracking speed but increases a tracking error. Therefore, this paper proposes variable IC MPPT algorithm that adjust automatically step size according to operating conditions. To improve a tracking speed and accuracy, when operating point is far from the maximum power point(MPP), the step size uses maximum value and when a operating point is near from the MPP, the step size uses variable step size that adjust according to slope of P-V curve. The validity of MPPT algorithm proposed in this paper prove through compare with conventional PO and IC MPPT algorithm.

주상모사실험을 이용한 구룡광산 광미 내 원소의 이동성 (Mobility of Metals in Tailings using a Column Experiment from the Guryong Copper Mine)

  • The laboratory column experiments were used to transport of metal elements by infiltration-related dispersion and/or diffusion in mine tailing of the Guryong gold mine. The mine tailing shows the neutral pH (for a pore water) and contains quartz, chlorite, pyrite and calcite. Both a non-reactive solute ($Cl^-$ of 100 mg $L^{-1}$) and a reactive solute (1N HCl), were injected continuously through columns. The breakthrough curve in the non-reactive experiment reached at a maximum under 1.5 pore volumes (PV). The longitudinal dispersion (0.607 cm) and hydrodynamic dispersion coefficient ($1.96{\times}10^{-7}cm^{2}sec^{-1}$) were calculated by the slope. In the reactive experiment, the plateau curve was appeared in the pH values of 5.3, 4.5 and 1.7. The releases of metal elements such as Fe, Mn, Al, Cu, Zn, Pb, and Cd were observed to be related to the pH buffering. High concentrations of Mn, Cd and Zn were observed at the first pH plateau (4 PV and pH 5.3), whereas Fe, Cu, Al and Pb were released as the pH decreased to 4.0 or less. The resulting order of metals mobility, based on the effluent water, is Mn=Cd>Zn>Cu>Fe>Al>Pb.

BIPV용 건식 및 습식 텍스쳐링 공정에 의한 다결정실리콘 태양전지 모듈 특성 연구 (A Study of Characterization of Multi-Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell Module using by RIE and Wet Texturing for BIPV)

  • Multi-crystalline silicon solar cells is not exist a specific crystal direction different from single crystalline silicon solar cells. In functional materials, therefore, isotropic wet etching of mc-Si solar cell is easy the acid solution rather than the alkaline solution. The reflectance of wet texturing process is about 25% and the reflectance of RIE texturing process is achieved less than 10%. In addition, wet texturing has many disadvantages as well as reflectance. So wet texturing process has been replaced by a RIE texturing process. In order to apply BIPV, RIE and wet textured multi-crystalline silicon solar cell modules was manufactured by different kind of EVA sheet. Moreover, in case of BIPV, the short circuit current characteristics according to the angle of incidence is more important, because the installation of BIPV is fixed location. In this study, we has measured SEM image and I-V curve of RIE and wet textured silicon solar cell and PV module. Also we has analyzed quantum efficiency characteristics of RIE and wet textured silicon solar cell for PV modules depending on incidence angle.

Genotypic Variation in Leaf Water Status of Soybean

  • Plant water status during growth is directly and indirectly associated with seed yield. The objective of the present study was to determine the genotypic differences in leaf water characteristics at an early growth stage of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill] plants through the pressure-bomb technique. Measurements of water potential as well as relative water content (RWC) were made at the third leaf from the fully-expanded top leaf of eight different soybean genotypes grown for 31 to 35 days after field emergence. On the basis of the modified exponential model, pressure-volume (PV) curves were fitted well ($R^2$=0.92** to 0.99** for the curvi-linear region and R=0.67** to 0.96** for the linear region), indicating that a segmented model using PROC NLIN of SAS could be used effectively to estimate the leaf water characteristics. The regression analysis for the pressure-volume (PV) curve revealed genotypic variation in the solute potential at saturation (Ψ$_{s,sat}$ :-10.7 to -14.8 bar), solute potential at incipient plasmolysis (Ψ$_{s,ip}$ : -14.3 to -18.3 bar), RWC at incipient plasmolysis (RW $C_{ip}$ : 83.3 to 91.7%), high integrated turgor pressure from saturation to plasmolysis ( $_1$$^{b}$ : 0.39 to 0.81), and maximum volumetric modulus of elasticity ($\varepsilon$$_{max}$ : 150 to 445 bar).).

고온고습 시험을 이용한 실리콘 태양전지 모듈의 수명 예측 연구 (A study of lifetime prediction of PV module using damp heat test)

  • To analyze the phenomenon of corrosion in the PV module, we experimented damp heat test at $85^{\circ}C$/85% relative humidity(RH) and $65^{\circ}C$/85% RH for 2,000 hours, respectively. We used 30 mini-modules designed of 6inch one cell. Despite of 2,000 hours test, measured $P_{max}$ is not reached failure which is defined less than 80% compared to initial $P_{max}$. Therefore, we calculate proper curve fitting over 2,000 hours. Data less than 80% $P_{max}$ is found and B10 lifetime is calculated by the number of failure specimens and weibull distribution. Using B10 lifetime that the point of failure rate 10% and Peck's model, the predictable equation of lifetime was derived under temperature and humidity condition.
