Efficient Processing of Spatial Preference Queries in Spatial Network Databases

  • Given a positive integer k as input, a spatial preference query finds the k best data objects based on the scores (e.g., qualities) of feature objects in their spatial neighborhoods. Several solutions have been proposed for spatial preference queries in Euclidean space. A few algorithms study spatial preference queries in undirected spatial networks where each edge is undirected and the distance between two points is the length of the shortest path connecting them. However, spatial preference queries have not been thoroughly investigated in directed spatial networks where each edge has a particular orientation that makes the distance between two points noncommutative. Therefore, in this study, we present a new method called ALPS+ for processing spatial preference queries in directed spatial networks. We conduct extensive experiments with different setups to demonstrate the superiority of ALPS+ over conventional solutions.

  • 본 연구는 기존 심미성연구에서 이미 연구된 대상을 제외한 제품을 찾아 선호도에 중요하게 반응하는 추상적인 심미적 차원들을 찾는다. 또한 형용사 이미지 언어를 조사하고 군집 분석하여 그 선택된 제품에 중요하다고 생각되어지는 차원도 함께 고려한다. 이를 바탕으로 선호 방향을 유추해보고 그 선호도를 중심으로 그 제품에 중요하게 작용하는 심미적 차원들의 정도를 찾아 제시함으로써 정확한 목표점을 만든다. 이렇게 마련된 심미적 선호 유형 및 심미적 요소들의 정도 값을 바탕으로 디자인 과정에서 선호되는 유형을 제시함으로써 실패의 확률이 적은 디자인의 창출이 본 연구의 목적이다. 또한 추상적인 심미적 차원들의 새로운 연구 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)에서의 Caller Preference는 송신자가 서버 측에서 자신의 요구를 처리하는데 관련된 각종 선호 사항들을 표현할 수 있도록 하고 또 수신자의 수신능력(Callee Capabilities)에 따라 적절한 호 처리를 진행할 수 있도록 하여주는 유용한 기능이다. 그러나 기존의 Preference 기능에서는 수신 대상을 선정함에 있어 미디어종류에 대한 일치 여부만을 고려하므로 호 설정 과정에서 상호간의 미디어 스트림에 대한 코덱과 같은 미디어 정보가 다를 경우 이를 재 협약하기 위한 추가적인 세션 협약 과정이 발생하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 새로운 확장된 Caller Preference 기능을 제안하였다. 여기서는 SIP 기반의 VoIP(Voice over IP)시스템에서 네트워크 서버가 SIP 호를 연결할 수신대상을 결정하는데 있어서 세션에서의 미디어 스트림에 사용되는 세부적인 미디어 정보의 일치 여부를 판단하여 호 연결 후보 대상들 가운데 미디어 재 협약이 필요치 않은 대상에 우선권을 부여하여 효율적인 호 설정이 가능하도록 하였다.

A Study on the Influence of the Attributes of PPL Advertisement on the Consumer Preference, Psychological Repulsion, and Consumer Happiness: Focused on the Moderating Effect of PPL Expression Type

  • Is this paper, We propose to examined the relationship between advertising attributes and brand preference, consumer psychological repulsion, and consumer happiness. Due to the infinite competition between the companies, they are experiencing significant difficulties in operation. In this situation, effective advertising is obviously a very important means to overcome the difficulties of operation. Therefore, in order to maximize the advertising effect, sufficient awareness of the advertisement property and the production and exposure of the advertisement based on it can be very important. As such, the purpose of this study is to verify the effect of indirect advertising appearing on entertainment programs on consumers' preference for brands and their psychological resistance, and to verify the effect of consumers' preference for brands and psychological backlash on consumer happiness. In addition, the exposure pattern of indirect advertisement is intended to verify whether there is a control effect between the nature of the advertisement and the brand preference and psychological backlash. A total of 209 questionnaires were distributed to consumers who viewed program in order to achieve the purpose of this study. For empirical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, structural equation model, and multimodal simultaneous comparison analysis were performed using SPSS V. 22.0 and AMOS V. 22.0. The results of the empirical analysis of this study are as follows. First, advertising attributes have a significant effect on brand preference. Second, the hypothesis that advertising attributes have a significant effect on psychological repulsiveness of consumers is partially adopted. Third, brand preference and psychological repulsion have a significant effect on consumer happiness. Fourth, we confirmed the moderating effect of PPL expression form in ad property, brand preference, and psychological repulsion. Based on these findings, we presented the implications, limitations and future research directions of the study.

최근 스포츠웨어 트렌드에 대한 소비자 선호도 분석과 이에 기초한 골프웨어 디자인 방향의 제시 -국내 20~30대 여성 골퍼를 대상으로- (An Analysis of the Female Golfers′ Preference of the Recent Sportswear Trend and a Suggestion of a Direction for Golfwear Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest a direction for golfwear design targeting young female golfers, based on the analysis of their preference of recent sportswear trend. Total 197 respondents, female golfers, were sampled for data gathering, who were asked to answer to the self-report questionnaire with the stimuli of five trendy golfwear styles [i.e., representing recent sportswear trend]. In summary, the results of this study were as follows: 1) The female golfers showed significant difference in their preference of recent sportswear-trend sues, according to their age or marital status. 2) Among the five trendy styles, each of which corresponded to five themes in 2002 S/S sportswear trend, the style of "Retro Chic", a type of retrospective trend theme, was most favored. 3) The female golfers in their twenties residing in Kangnam, were found to have ① relatively higher fashion leadership, and ② higher preference of maximal and kitsch trends, when compared with the rest of the respondents. 4) The most influential design elements in each trendy style, dominating the golfers' preference, varied with the feature of trend themes. 5) Based on the analysis of the young female golfers′ preferences of recent sportswear trend, a direction for golfwear design were suggested.

스마트폰 사용자의 위치기반 서비스에 대한 선호도 분석: 대전지역 H 대학교 학생 설문을 중심으로 (Preference Analysis for Location Based Services on Smartphone Users; Focusing on the H University Students in Daejeon Area)

  • 정보통신기술의 급속한 발전은 벤처창업의 기회와 수많은 창업 아이템이 생겨나고 있다. 또한, 요즘과 같은 스마트폰 시대에는 수많은 위치기반 서비스들이 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 어떤 요인들이 스마트폰 환경의 위치기반 속성이 지속적 사용의도 선호도에 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 영향을 주는 요인들에 대하여 선호도 분석을 실행하였다. 즉 첫 번째 단계로, 기존의 경험적 연구들을 통해 이미 알려진 기준 속성들을 정보, 오락, 안전&긴급, 검색&추적 및 광고&상거래라는 5가지로 분류하였다. 두 번째 단계에서는 분류된 속성들 사이의 선호관계 분석을 AHP(analytic hierarchy process) 기법을 이용하여 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 위한 설문은 대전의 H 대학교 학생들을 대상으로 하였으며, 2014년 10월 11일부터 10월 25일 사이에 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 결과 여러 속성 중에 채팅(0.170)이 가장 높은 선호도를 갖는다는 사실을 보여주었다. 또한, 이러한 연구결과에 근거해 다양한 이론적 및 실증적 의미들이 제시되었다.

소비자의 식단 요구도 분석을 통한 쌀빵의 학교급식 적용 가능성 분석 (Possibility Analysis of a Rice Based Bread by Analyzing Customers' Needs of Menus for School Foodservice)

  • School foodservice customers are likely to be tired of repeated cycle menus and their satisfaction for meals offered in school is inclined to be low. The menu variety is an important factor in increasing customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate customer perspectives for applying rice based bread menus in order to add menu variety and promote using rice processed products in school foodservice. The questionnaire was distributed to 760 parent samples in elementary schools and 520 student samples in middle/high schools and a total of 665 and 387 usable data were collected, respectively. Food habits such as preference for cooking method, menu preference, food allergy and nutritional perspectives for menu and customer perception for rice based bread like quality, reliability, price, and purchasing convenience were investigated using 7 Likert scale. Also expected menu types applying rice based bread and offering frequency of rice bread menu were examined. Preference level for bread-based meals were moderate and students' preferences were slightly higher than parents. Menu types applying rice bread expected by middle/high school students were western food (49.4%), spaghetti (28.4%), set menu (13.7%), noodle (17.6%), Korean food (11.1%), Chinese food (10.9%) and porridge (4.5%). The most occupied rate was once in a week for expected offering frequency. Most respondents perceived that rice bread was more nutritive and qualitative than the wheat based one.

상품구조 및 사용자 경향성에 기반한 추천 시스템 (Recommender System based on Product Taxonomy and User's Tendency)

  • In this study, a novel and flexible recommender system was developed, based on product taxonomy and usage patterns of users. The proposed system consists of the following four steps : (i) estimation of the product-preference matrix, (ii) construction of the product-preference matrix, (iii) estimation of the popularity and similarity levels for sought-after products, and (iv) recommendation of a products for the user. The product-preference matrix for each user is estimated through a linear combination of clicks, basket placements, and purchase statuses. Then the preference matrix of a particular genre is constructed by computing the ratios of the number of clicks, basket placements, and purchases of a product with respect to the total. The popularity and similarity levels of a user's clicked product are estimated with an entropy index. Based on this information, collaborative and content-based filtering is used to recommend a product to the user. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed approach, an empirical study was conducted by constructing an experimental e-commerce site. Our results clearly showed that the proposed hybrid method is superior to conventional methods.

GAN기반의 하이브리드 협업필터링 추천기 연구 (A Study for GAN-based Hybrid Collaborative Filtering Recommender)

  • As deep learning technology in natural language and visual processing has rapidly developed, collaborative filtering-based recommendation systems using deep learning technology are being actively introduced in the recommendation field. In this study, OCF-GAN, a hybrid collaborative filtering model using GAN, was proposed to solve the one-class and cold-start problems, and its usefulness was verified through performance evaluation. OCF-GAN based on conditional GAN consists of a generator that generates a pattern similar to the actual user preference pattern and a discriminator that tries to distinguish the actual preference pattern from the generated preference pattern. When the training is completed, user preference vectors are generated based on the actual distribution of preferred items. In addition, the cold-start problem was solved by using a hybrid collaborative filtering recommendation method that additionally utilizes user and item profiles. As a result of the performance evaluation, it was found that the performance of the OCF-GAN with additional information was superior in all indicators of the Top 5 and Top 20 recommendations compared to the existing GAN-based recommender. This phenomenon was more clearly revealed in experiments with cold-start users and items.

감귤의 소비자 선호도 조사를 통한 객관적 품질등급 기준 설정 (Setting the Korean Mandarine Quality Standards based on Consumer Preference Survey)

  • 본 연구는 감귤의 소비자 선호도 조사를 통하여 객관적인 품질기준을 제시하는데 있다. 지금까지 제주 감귤의 품질 등급은 선과기를 이용한 크기에 따른 상품 구별과, 농 감협과 일부 영농 법인에서 비파괴 선과기를 이용하여 선별되어진 감귤을 자체적인 브랜드에 준하여 등급을 제시하여 왔다. 그 등급 설정은 과학적 객관적이거나, 소비자의 니즈에 의한 것이 아니라 편의에 위한 관행적 등급으로 판단된다. 그 등급 내용을 보면 최고등급 브랜드인 경우 당도 $12^{\circ}Bx$ 이상, 산도 1% 미만을 요구하고, 다음 등급 브랜드인 경우는 당도 $11^{\circ}Bx$, 산도 1% 미만을 요구하는 등 높은 당도와 낮은 산도를 천편일률적으로 적용하여 사용되어지고 있다. 따라서 감귤의 소비자 선호도 조사를 통한 소비자 만족도에 근거하여 당도 4등급, 산도 4등급으로 총 16개 등급으로 구분하였고, 이를 바탕으로 1등급에서 5등급까지의 5개의 등급을 설정하였다.
