흰쥐에서 Aminotriazole과 Diethyldithiocarbamate가 Paraquat의 독성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of 3-Amino-1,2,4 Triazole and Diethyldithiocarbamate on Paraquat Toxicity in Rats)

  • The effects of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and catalase on the toxicity of paraquat(PQ) were studied using diethyldithiocarbamate(DDC), 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole(AT) which are inhibitors of Cu, Zn-SOD and catalase in rats. Sprague Dawley rats were divide into 6 groups: control, DDC, PQ, AT, DDC+PQ, and AT+PQ group. The PQ (50 mg/kg body weight(BW); about half dose of $LD_{50}$) was administered with orally, otherwise AT(1.0g/kg BW) and DDC(1.0g/kg BW) were administered by intrperitoneal(iP) injection. The survival rate of rats in PQ+AT group was significantly decreased compared with PQ group while the difference of survival rate between DDC group and DDC+PQ group was not significant. The SOD activity after administration of DDC was decreased in liver, lung and kidney, but catalase activity was not changed. The catalase activity in liver, lung and kidney of AT treated rats was decreased, while SOD activity was not changed in this group. The effects of DDC and AT to the PQ toxicity was also observed in primary cultured rat Skin fibroblasts. The viable cells that was measured with MTT method, was decreased in AT+PQ treated group compared to PQ treated group, but the difference of cell viability between DDC treat group and DDC+PQ treated group was not observed. This result, AT potentlate PQ toxicity while DDC were not affect, suggested that the decreased catalase activity lead to elevation of hydrogen peroxide levels and PQ toxicity may be correlate with the hydrogen peroxide rather than the superoxides.

  • 고밀도, 고정밀의 정보저장기를 실현하기 위해서 높은 서보대역이 요구되고 있다 이러한 요구조건을 만족시키기 위해서 이단구동시스템이 도입되었다. 이 시스템은 기존의 VCM을 조동구동기로, 추가적인 밀리엑츄에이터를 미동구동기로 사용하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우리는 압전형 밀리엑츄에이터를 서스펜션 부에 설계하였다 이러한 시스템의 제어를 위하여 PQ 제어 방법을 도입하였으며, 이 방식은 이중입력/단일출력 시스템을 두개의 단일 입출력 시스템으로 단순화시키는 것이다. 이 논문은 PQ 제어 방식을 적용시켜 설계하고. 설계된 제어기의 성능 평가로써 기존의 HDD의 PES을 받아서 외란제어 능력을 평가하는 것이다.

  • The harmonic reduction method of ac motor drive, ACL and DCL were commonly used, but the current distortion ratio was only 35%, thus the several different types of filters as BBHF(broad band harmonic filter), HHF(hybrid harmonic filter), NHHF(new hybrid harmonic filter) have been developed to satisfy the IEEE Std. 519 harmonic limitation. However, these filters had been limited marketability due to cost and size problems. This study suggests the methods to reduce cost and size of the harmonic filter including topologies, besides we discussed simulation results of the power system with regard to the implementation and performance of the filters.

  • To reach high areal density, less track pitch is expected and more servo bandwidth is required. One approach to overcoming the problem is by using dual stage servo system. In this system, a voice coil motor (VCM) is used as the primary stage while a milliactuator is used as the secondary stage. We have suggested new milliactuator based on the shear mode of piezoelectric elements to drive the head suspension assembly. In this paper, we introduce controller design method, PQ method. PQ method reduces the controller design problem for DISO(dual-input/single-output) systems to two standard controller design problems for SISO(single-input/single-output) problems. The first part of PQ method directly address the issue of actuator output contribution, and the second part allows the use of traditional loop shaping to achieve the overall system performance. This paper shows how to employ the PQ method to meet aggressive close-loop performance specifications for a disk drive system with a VCM and piezoelectric milliactuator.

PQ변동을 이용한 개선된 계통 임피던스 추정기법 (An Improved Grid Impedance Estimation using PQ Variations)

  • In a weak grid condition, the precise grid impedance estimation is essential to guaranteeing the high performance current control and power transfer for a grid-connected inverter. This study proposes a precise estimation method for grid impedance by PQ variations by employing the variation method of reference currents. The operation principle of grid impedance estimation is fully presented, and the negative impact of the phase locked loop is analyzed. Estimation error by a synchronization angle in the park's transformation using the phase locked loop is derived. As a result, the variation method of reference currents for accurate estimation is introduced. The validation of the proposed method is verified through several simulation results and experiments based on a 2-kW voltage source inverter prototype.

Quinetides: diverse posttranslational modified peptides of ribonuclease-like storage protein from Panax quinquefolius as markers for differentiating ginseng species

  • Background: Peptides have diverse and important physiological roles in plants and are ideal markers for species identification. It is unclear whether there are specific peptides in Panax quinquefolius L. (PQ). The aims of this study were to identify Quinetides, a series of diverse posttranslational modified native peptides of the ribonuclease-like storage protein (ginseng major protein), from PQ to explore novel peptide markers and develop a new method to distinguish PQ from Panax ginseng. Methods: We used different fragmentation modes in the LTQ Orbitrap analysis to identify the enriched Quinetide targets of PQ, and we discovered Quinetide markers of PQ and P. ginseng using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry analysis. These "peptide markers" were validated by simultaneously monitoring Rf and F11 as standard ginsenosides. Results: We discovered 100 Quinetides of PQ with various post-translational modifications (PTMs), including a series of glycopeptides, all of which originated from the protein ginseng major protein. We effectively distinguished PQ from P. ginseng using new "peptide markers." Four unique peptides (Quinetides TP6 and TP7 as markers of PQ and Quinetides TP8 and TP9 as markers of P. ginseng) and their associated glycosylation products were discovered in PQ and P. ginseng. Conclusion: We provide specific information on PQ peptides and propose the clinical application of peptide markers to distinguish PQ from P. ginseng.

파라콰트의 환경성 노출 가능성 (The Possibility of Environmental Paraquat Exposure)

  • 널리 사용되고 있는 제초제인 파라콰트가 수중이나 토양을 통해 인체에 노출될 가능성이 있음을 알아보기 위해 본 연구를 시행하였다. 수중에서 자외선에 의한 파라콰트의 분해 여부를 측정하였고, 토양에 파라콰트 살포 후 인공강우조건을 만들어 파라콰트의 침출 여부를 파악하였다. 또한, 용존산소량에 따라 등급이 다른 세가지 하천수에서 파라콰트의 자외선에 의한 분해양상을 조사하였다. HPLC/UVD를 이용한 토양과 수중에서 파라콰트의 용출 및 분해양상을 살펴본 결과 수중에서 자외선에 의한 파라콰트의 분해는 일어나지 않았고, 토양에서 파라콰트 살포 후, 파라콰트 용출 여부를 한 달간 살펴보았는데 용출은 되지 않았다. 그리고 하천수의 수질에 따른 파라콰트의 자외선에 의한 영향 또한 변화가 없었다. 분석방법에 대한 검출한계는 1.57 ${\mu}g$/L로 검출한계가 낮았다. 그리고 분석의 정밀도 및 정확도를 본 결과 3개의 다른 농도에서 6 % 이내의 정밀도와 약 88 % 이상의 정확도를 갖고 있어서 분석방법이 우수하였다. 토양에 살포된 파라콰트가 강수 등에 의해서 다시 용출될 가능성은 매우 낮다. 그러나 어떠한 경로이던 수계로 들어간 파라콰트는 오랫동안 잔류되어 인체에 노출될 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 실험실에서 진행된 것으로 실제 환경매체를 이용한 실증적인 연구와 이를 통한 역학적 연구가 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

  • This paper proposes a new fault distance calculation method in the power quality (PQ) monitoring system. The proposed method calculates the fault impedance and the fault distance based on the measurement data of the PQ monitors and the information of the topology of the distribution systems. By using the iterative calculation method, the proposed method can find more exact location of the PQ events than the existing methods. The proposed method is applied to the IEEE 34 bus test feeders by using the PSCAD/EMTDC$^{TM}$.

  • The objective of this paper is to present an efficient and practical approach to the automatic classification of power quality(PQ) disturbances, where and orthogonal polynomial approximation method is emloyed for the detection and localization of PQ disturbances, and a feature vector, newly extracted form the bispectra of the detected signal, is utilized for the automatic rectgnition of the various types of PQ disturbances. To demonstrae the performance and applicabiliyt of the proposed approach, some simulation results are provided.

무선 센서망을 위한 새로운 동적 가중치 할당 알고리즘 개발 (The Development of New dynamic WRR Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 기술의 핵심은 저전력 무선 통신기술과 효율적 라우팅을 위한 적절한 자원할당 기술이다. 센서 네트워크에서 효율적인 자원할당을 위해서는 서비스에 따른 차별화된 자원할당 방식이 필요하다. 이를 위하여, 본 논문에서는 유선망에 사용되는 PQ와 WRR의 단점을 보완하여 USN에 적용이 가능한 스케줄러 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 센서 네트워크에서 각 클래스의 큐 상태를 체크하여 퍼지 이론을 적용한 제어 정책에 따라 WRR 스케쥴러의 가중치를 동적으로 할당하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안된 알고리즘은 EF 클래스의 패킷 손실률에서 WRR 스케쥴러 방식보다 평균 6.5% 향상되었으며, AF4 클래스에서는 PQ 방식보다 평균 45% 향상된 결과를 보였다.
