  • In this paper, we propose a method to a synchronization of chaotic UAVs(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that have unstable limit cycles in a chaos trajectory surface. We assume all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface have a Van der Pol equation with an unstable limit cycle. The proposed methods are assumed that if one of two chaotic UAVs receives the synchronization command, the other UAV also follows the same trajectory during the chaotic UAVs search on the arbitrary surface.

  • We introduce a magnetic field survey of the Gould Belt clouds using the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) POL-2: B-fields In STar-forming Region Observations (BISTRO). POL-2 with SCUBA-2 on JCMT is a unique facility, as it is the only facility world-wide that can map the magnetic field within cold dense cores and filaments on scales of ~1000 AU in nearby star-forming regions, such as Taurus and Ophiuchus. It can provide a link between the B-field measured on arc-minute scales by Planck and BLASTPOL and measurements made on arc-second scales by interferometers such as CARMA, SMA, and ALMA. BISTRO was awarded 224 hours toward 16 fields for the next 3 years and started to take data in the 2016A semester.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to avoid obstacles that have unstable limit cycles in a Hyperchaos trajectory surface. We assume all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface have a Van der Pol equation with an unstable limit cycle. When a chaos robot meets an obstacle in a hyper-chaos equation trajectory, the obstacle reflects the robot. We also show computer simulation result of hyperchaos equation trajectories with one or more Van der Pol obstacles.

  • In this paper, we propose that the chaotic behavior analysis in the mobile robot of embedding Chua's equation with obstacle. In order to analysis of chaotic behavior in the mobile robot, we apply not only qualitative analysis such as time-series, embedding phase plane, but also quantitative analysis such as Lyapunov exponent in the mobile robot with obstacle. In the obstacle, we only assume that all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface in which robot workspace has an unstable limit cycle with Van der Pol equation.

  • 2-Deoxyribonolactone (dL) arises as a major DNA damage induced by a variety of agents, involving free radical attack and oxidation of C1'-deoxyribose in DNA. We investigated whether dL lesions can be repaired in mammalian cells and the mechanisms underlying the role of DNA polymerase $\beta$ in processing of dL lesions. Pol $\beta$ appeared to be trapped by dL residues, resulting in stable DNA-protein cross-links. However, repair DNA synthesis at site-specific dL sites occurred effectively in cell-free extracts, but predominantly accompanied by long-patch base excision repair (BER) pathway. Reconstitution of long-patch BER demonstrated that FEN1 was capable of removing the displaced flap DNA containing a 5'-dL residue. Cellular repair of dL lesions was largely dependent on the DNA polymerase activity of Pol $\beta$. Our observations reveal repair mechanisms of dL and define how mammalian cells prevent cytotoxic effects of oxidative DNA lesions that may threaten the genetic integrity of DNA.

  • RNA interference (RNAi) is the process of sequence-specific gene silencing. However, RNAi efficiency still needs to be improved for effective inhibition of target genes. We have developed an effective strategy to express multiple shRNAs (small hairpin RNA) simultaneously using multiple RNA Polymerase III (Pol III) promoters in a single vector. Our data demonstrate that multiple shRNAs expressed from Pol III promoters have a synergistic effect in repressing the target gene. Silencing of endogenous cyclophilin A (CypA) or key HIV viral genes by multiple shRNAs results in significant inhibition of the target gene.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to avoid obstacles that have unstable limit cycles in a chaos trajectory surface. We assume all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface have a Van der Pol equation with an unstable limit cycle. When a chaos robot meets an obstacle in an Arnold equation or Chua's equation trajectory, the obstacle reflects the robot. We also show computer simulation results of Arnold equation and Chua's equation and random walk chaos trajectories with one or more Van der Pol obstacles and compare the coverage rates of each trajectory. We show that the Chua's equation is slightly more efficient in coverage rates when two robots are used, and the optimal number of robots in either the Arnold equation or the Chua's equation is also examined.

  • The DPB11 gene, which genetically interacts with DNA polymerase II ($\varepsilon$) encoded by POL2 and DPB2, is required for DNA replication and the S phase checkpoint in Saccharomyces cerevusiae. The transcripts of DPB11 did not fluctuated as evidently as DPB2 and POL2 genes during cell cycle. To identify the physical interaction between Dpb2 and Dpb11, we examined the interaction by two-hybrid system. The interaction between Dpb2 and Dpb11 was detected in a two-hybrid assay. These results suggest that the amount of the Dpb2-Dpb11 complex may peak at the G1/S boundary. Therefore, we strongly suggest the involvement of the Dpb2-Dpb11 complex in a progression of DNA replication and S-phase checkpoint.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the marginal sealing ability of "Silar". Using freshly extracted human teeth and 2% acquous methylene blue, the marginal leakage of dye in restorative materials such as Silar, Silar with acid etching technique, Hi-Pol, Hi-Pol Enamel Bond system, Adaptic and Amalgam were investigated at $37^{\circ}C$ and under temperature cycling in range of $4^{\circ}C-60^{\circ}C$. The results as follows; 1. All filling materials showed some degree of marginal penetration by 2% methylene blue dye. 2. Silar with acid etching technique revealed effective marginal sealing ability, but under temperature cycling it showed increased marginal leakage. 3. All composite resins showed greater marginal leakage than amalgam restoration. 4. Silar had the most effective marginal sealing ability in experimented composite resins.

  • In this paper, rectangular patch antenna is miniaturized by changing the middle of patch into narrow microstrip line except the edges of the patch where the fringing field occurs. Miniaturized rate, gain, bandwidth, radiation pattern of suggested antennas were compared with general square and rectangular microstrip antennas by using simulator Ensemble. As a result, it reduces the dimension of antenna by 44 % and improves the characteristic of x-pol by 40 dB as an advantage when compare with square microstrip antenna while it reduces bandwidth.
