고추력용 철심형 영구자석 선형동기전동기의 운전조건을 고려한 설계 (Research on Design Characteristics of Steel-Cored PMLSM with High Thrust Force Considering Running Condition)

  • 본 논문에서는 철심형 영구자석 선형동기전동기(PMLSM, Steel-Cored Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor)에서 운전 특성을 고려한 설계 특성 및 전략 등에 대한 내용을 다룬다. 특히 반송장치의 운송궤적에서 요구하는 동적특성과 전동기의 동적용량(Dynamic Capability)을 고려한 동적제약조건(Dynamic Constraints) 규정을 통하여, 짧은 변위의 급가감속 왕복운전을 위한 철심형 PMLSM의 최적설계 전략을 살펴본다. 이와 더불어 동특성이 두드러진 PMLSM의 설계특성으로 열적인 특성, 디텐트력 해석 및 저감, 그리고 자계의 포화특성에 대하여 추가 고찰한다.

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM). Parameters and characteristic variations are evaluated by using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Equivalent Magnetizing Current Method. PMLSM can be classified into the short primary type PMLSM and the short secondary type PMLSM according to their structural features. Especially, the short secondary type PMLSM is focused on because of good control characteristics. And this paper presents the difference of analysis results between the short primary type PMLSM and short secondary type PMLSM and investigates the end effect of two PMLSM's.

  • This paper deals with the optimal design of a slotless type of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). Response surface methodology, one of the optimization methods, is used to consider multiple response of the PMLSM. That is, it is applied to obtain more average thrust and less thrust ripple than prototype PMLSM. To analyze quickly, characteristic analysis of the PMLSM is performed by space harmonic method and final results of optimized PMLSM are compare with those of prototype PMLSM through finite element analysis.

  • Comparison on the performances between the Halbach array type permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (HA-PMLSM) and the convensional array type permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (CA-PMLSM) was made with finite element analysis (FEA) and experiment. The HA-PMLSM is seen to be superior to the CA-PMLSM. Optimum ratio of magnet length to slot pitch of the HA-PMLSM which reduces the detent force was determined. Also, Comparison of forces of the HA-PMLSM and the CA-PMLSM with minimum detent force is presented.

  • This paper deals with the optimal design of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) with the analysis of prototype PMLSM. In the PMLSM, thrust ripple is one of the causes disturbing high-precision position control. Therefore, Response surface methodology (RSM), one of the optimization methods, is applied to obtain the shape decreasing thrust ripple of the prototype PMLSM. In the end, characteristic analysis of the PMLSM is performed by space harmonic method for shortening of a computation time, and final results is verified by finite element analysis.

  • A recurrent adaptive model-free intelligent control with a friction estimation law is proposed to enhance the positioning performance of the mover in PMLSM system. For the PMLSM with nonlinear friction and uncertainty, an adaptive recurrent fuzzy neural network(ARFNN) and compensated control law in $H_{\infty}$ performance criterion are designed to mimic a perfect control law and compensate the approximated error between ideal controller and ARFNN. Combined with friction observer to estimate nonlinear friction parameters of the LuGre model, on-line adaptive laws of the controller and observer are derived based on the Lyapunov stability criterion. To analyze the effectiveness our control scheme, some simulations for the PMLSM with nonlinear friction and uncertainty were executed.

  • Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) has high efficiency, high energy density, and high control-ability. But, the detent force always is produced by the structure of slot-teeth. There are the disadvantages such as noise and vibration of the apparatuses are induced and the control ability is curtailed because detent force acts as thrust ripple. Therefore, the detent force reduction is an essential requirement in PMLSM. Generally, the method, skewing permanent magnet or slot-teeth, is used to reduce the detent force. But the thrust is decreased at the same time. If permanent magnet is skewed, the lateral force which operates as the perpendicular direction of skew direction is generated in linear guide of PMLSM. So, V-skew model is proposed for the reduction of lateral force. The lateral force acts as braking force in linear motion guide, and it has bad influence to the characteristics of PMLSM. However, these problems will not be solved by 2-dimensional Finite Element Analysis (FEA). So, in this paper 3-dimensional FEA is applied to analyze the PMLSM where permanent magnet is skewed and has overhang. The detent force and thrust characteristics considering skew and overhang effects of permanent magnet are analyzed by 3-dimensional FEA and the results are compared with experimental values to verify the propriety of analysis.

PMLSM의 진동저감을 위한 최적의 속도 궤적 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Acceleration Profile to Reduce Vibration of PMLSM)

  • This paper presents vibration minimization of a PMLSM driven feed-slide by using optimized smooth velocity curve with finite jerk. First of all, the PMLSM was designed and made to reduce detent force. Next, a PMLSM driven feed-slide system was mathematically modeled as a 4-degree-of-freedom lumped parameter model. The key idea of our vibration minimization method is to find out the most appropriate smooth velocity(feedrate) curve with finite jerk. The validity of our proposed method has been verified by comparing computer simulation results of the feed-slide model with experimental ones.

  • 현재 선형 전동기는 많은 연구가 진행되어 그 응용분야가 산업전반에 확대되고 있다. 이중 반송장치 분야에서 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기(Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor:이하 PMLSM)가 각광을 받고 있다. 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기는 구조적으로 간단하며 고속화 고추력화 등의 장점을 가지고 있지만 전기자를 반송경로 전장에 배치하는 지상 1차측 시스템을 장거리 반송장치에 적용하면 재료비용의 증가 및 제작시간 증가 등의 문제점이 발생한다. 따라서 전기자를 분산(불연속) 배치하는 방식이 제안되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 전기자 분산배치 방식은 구조적으로 단부가 존재하고 이러한 단부에 의해 코깅력이 발생한다. 이는 추력 맥동의 원인이 되며, 소음과 진동을 발생시킨다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 전기자를 분산배치 할 경우 필연적으로 생기는 단부에 의한 코깅력을 저감하기 위해 Bifurcating을 적용한 집중권 PMLSM에 보조극 설치법을 제안한다. 또한 그에 따른 단부 코깅력 특성을 2차원 유한요소법(FEA)을 이용하여 분석하였다.

  • 영구자석형 선형동기전동기(PMLSM)는 고속, 고추력의 직선추진이 가능하므로 산업현장에서 위치결정장치나 물류반송시스템 및 공작기계 등의 선형 서보 시스템에 이용이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PMLSM의 AC 서보화를 위해 동기 프레임상에서 제어구조가 미리 설정된 스위칭 함수에 따라 불연속적으로 변화되는 가변구조 전류제어방식 및 간접 벡터제어이론을 기본으로하여 도달시간을 제거하고, 구동시스템의 추력 이용도를 높이기 위해 파라미터 변동과 한정된 외란에 거의 영향을 받지 않으며 오버슈트가 없는 고속응답을 실현하기 위해 슬라이딩 모드제어 알고리즘을 제안하여 PMLSM의 위치제어에 적용하고자 한다.
