This paper describes the method aimed at establishing the equipment measuring the parameter of Cable Network by Best proper Cable Modem and PDA through RS232 interface. In this paper, we propose our creative experimental configuration and develope the Cable Modem (DOCSIS 2.0) superior more performing than the referred Cable Modem (DOCSIS 1.0, 1.1) and the measuring equipment of HFC network compositing of Cable Modem and PDA through RS232 interface. This equipment analyzes Upstream (U/S) and Downstream (D/S) Signal quality and generates the signal of Upstream by CW signal. The paper also provides the experimental results to check the Best Proper Cable Modem and the displayed screen for parameters for SNR, BER and the demodulated IQ diagram of 256QAM through LCD of PDA. Henceforth, it'll be possible to support a variety of the functions for E-mail, Internet, the speed test of WEB connection and the transmission of the measured result real time by PDA.

We present an efficient algorithm for skew correction of business card images obtained by a PDA (personal digital assistant) camera. The proposed method is composed of four parts: block adaptive binarization (BAB), stripe generation, skew angle calculation, and image rotation. In the BAB, an input image is binarized block by block so as to lessen the effect of irregular illumination and shadow over the input image. In the stripe generation, character string clusters are generated merging adjacent characters and their strings, and then only clusters useful for skew angle calculation are output as stripes. In the skew angle calculation, the direction angles of the stripes are calculated using their central moments and then the skew angle of the input image is determined averaging the direction angles. In the image rotation, the input image is rotated by the skew angle. Experimental results shows that the proposed method yields skew correction rates of about 93% for test images of several types of business cards acquired by a PDA under various surrounding conditions.

This study was conducted to establish an analytical method using an HPLC system equipped with a photodiode array (PDA) detector for the quality control of raw materials and cosmeceuticals containing fucoxanthin as an active ingredient. The column was octadecyl-functionalized silica gel and the measurement wavelength of the PDA was set to 499 nm. To validate the analytical method, the linearity of the calibration curve, detection limit, reproducibility and recovery rate were investigated and good results were obtained. The correlation coefficient of the calibration curve was 1.000 and the linearity was good in the concentration range of 0.5 ~ 100 ppm. Moreover, the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.1 ppm and the limit of quantification (LOQ) was 0.5 ppm. The results of the peak reproducibility test used for evaluating the system suitability showed that the RSD (n = 5) of the peak area was 2.0% and that of the retention time was 0.09%. In the spiking test, the recovery rate was $101.6{\pm}0.77%$. The fucoxanthin contents of the two kinds of fucoxanthin-containing raw materials were $49.6{\pm}3.3%$ and $1.03{\pm}0.016%$, respectively. In addition, the fucoxanthin content in the test product, which was intended to be 150 ppm, was $156.7{\pm}4.7ppm$. From the above results, it was concluded that this method could be applied to the quantitative analysis of fucoxanthin in cosmeceuticals.

As the function of digital products gets diverse and complex, more than 30~40% job of software developing and testing group within its development cycle, concentrates on the software testing[1]. To cope with consumers'quickly changing needs, development cycle time gets short, and the number of model and test items increase steadily This is why automating software basic function and UI(User Interface) verification is needed [4][5][6]. This paper draws many strength and weakness defines Input/Output through integrating mobile phone, DVDP, PDA, and Black-Box (Intrusive (mobile) or Non-Intrusive(DVDP, PDA)) testing systematically, which brought above the 64% average of automation rate, and ensure 80% of test coverage [4][5][6].

In this study, static Pile load tests and PDA for open-ended steel pipe pile($\phi$ = 609.6 mm, t = 14 mm) penetrated into the gravel layer(GP - GM) was accomplished and axial load distribution was measured. Based on the tests results, the ultimate bearing capacity and axial load bearing mode were examined. Also, the ultimate pile capacity was calculated by APIL $E^{PLUS}$./.

In this study, we determined the effect of different concentrations of Cd on the growth of Pleurotus ostreatus mycelia, which was confirmed using PDA, PDB, and a column test. The efficacy of treatment was evaluated using Cd at two concentrations, 10 ppm and 100 ppm. The extent of mycelial growth on PDA and PDB was similar to that observed in the untreated groups and those treated with 10 ppm Cd. However, it was found that the mycelial growth was suppressed in a system treated with Cd at concentrations of 100 ppm. Moreover, the extent of mycelial growth observed upon conducting a column test was similar to that obtained using PDA and PDB. When the composition of free amino acids in PDB was determined, their levels in the group treated with 100 ppm Cd were found to be similar to those of the control. However, the amounts of 15 amino acids in the group treated with 10 ppm of Cd had increased compared to those detected in the control.

We researched economic efficiency and possibility of game portal service based PDA/Smart phone by popularize of next generation portable internet WiBro. PDA/Smart phone are difficult to equal level content service with PC, because of it has low CPU and memory than PC. This paper are implemented paper of integrated server of Cable or Wireless for WiBro contents. In this research, we implemented and show test result of CP killer contents in PDA. It can apply to WiBro portable internet and has required many functions in integrated server for cable or wireless. CP Killer contents for WiBro portable internet is developed by PC server base on Window XP. It can accept next generation wireless LAN, portable internet and ubiquitous issues. We expect activation of commercial use that WiBro contents and server trading.

Partial discharge(PD) tests are used to evaluate the insulation condition of stator windings in six 6.6kV motors. These tests were conducted using a conventional partial discharge detector (PDD), turbine generator analyzer(TGA) and partial discharge analyzer(PDA). Off-line PD measurements were performed on six 6.6kV motors. PD magnitudes ranged from 740 pC to 5,100 pC at the normal line-to-ground voltage. Six 6.6kV motors have been equipped with eighteen 80pF epoxy-mica couplers(one per phase) on the motor terminal boxs. The PD pulse from sensors were measured with the TGA and PDA instruments on a normally operating motors. The PDD, TGA and PDA test results showed that internal discharge was detected in voids of the groundwall insulation.

Partial discharge(PD) tests were performed when the hydrogenerator(rated 11kV and 25MVA) was shut down(off-line). Six cable couplers were installed in the ring bus as well as within hydrogenerator terminal box. PD tests were conducted using partial discharge analyzer(PDA) and digital partial discharge detector(PDD). PDA showed that the normalized quantity number(NQN) and the partial discharge magnitude increased with increase of ac voltage. Slot discharges were discovered in three phases(A, B and C) at the rated voltage. PDA and PDD test results are in accordance with the pattern and magnitude of partial discharge. This hydrogenerator stator windings were in good condition.

A photodiode array multichannel detector system for capillary electrophoresis was developed. The photodiode array detector for capillary electrophoresis (CE-PDA) has 1024 photodetectors and can analyze sample by measuring UV/VIS absorption spectrum in 275~675 nm wavelength range. The CE-PDA instrument can get a spectrum in 30 ms during sample separation and can be programmed by a PC to control various experimental conditions required for sample analysis. The performance of the multichannel CE-PDA instrument was tested using L-ascorbic acid and alizarin yellow GG mixture. The reproducibility test of the CE-PDA system showed 5.6% RSD.
