  • Recently, multi client PC technologies that several users can use one set of computer at the same time are being designed to use the surplus computer resource. In general, as the existing PC management system considers only a single client PC that only one user uses a computer, various kinds of complicated problems may be arisen. This paper designs and realizes a remote management system that can monitor and control the information used in the windows based OS multi-client using WMI technology. The proposed system herein uses WMI technology and newly defined client management protocol and provides the monitoring and control functions on individual resource use information of multi-client. As well, it provides a communication function between the server and the client, and locking setting and access control functions.

  • Wee developed the automatic operation system for the laboratories equipment based on MATLAB GUI. By using Instrument Control Tool Box and standard protcol, PC and equipments are well connected each other. Wee developed the software to control the display of input and output between PC and equipments by using MATLAB GUI, This system will be effectively used in laboratories and experimental facilities and more in on-line education system for experiments.

  • 컴퓨터와 인터넷 보급의 증가로 인해 컴퓨터는 생활에 꼭 필요한 존재가 되었으나, 그에 따른 일반 사용자의 부주의로 인한 컴퓨터 오류의 문제도 증가하게 되어, A/S 업체 직원이 직접 방문을 하여 수리를 하곤 한다. 그러나 막상 가보게 되면 사용자의 부주의로 인한 간단한 고장인 경우가 많다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 온라인상에서 사용자의 컴퓨터를 수리할 수 있는 원격지원(Virtual Network Control)이라는 프로그램이 도입되었다. 하지만 설치상의 복잡함과 복잡한 연결절차로 사용자가 쉽게 접근하기 어렵고, 더욱이 공유기를 사용하는 PC에서는 사용이 불가능하여 개선의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 웹기반의 ActiveX를 이용하여 프로그램을 자동적으로 설치하여 사용자는 버튼 하나만을 한번 클릭하는 방법으로 연결이 가능하고, 중계서버를 사용하여 공유기를 사용하더라도 연결이 가능하도록 개선한 RemoPC를 개발하였다.

Modification of Gut Microbiota and Immune Responses via Dietary Protease in Soybean Meal-Based Protein Diets

  • Plant-based protein sources such as soybean meal have low digestibility and are generally promoted accumulation of undigested proteins into the intestine by enzymatic treatments. Moreover, potential intestinal pathogens ferment undigested proteins, producing harmful substances, such as ammonia, amines and phenols, leading to an overactive immune response and diarrhea in weaned pigs. As a solution, dietary proteases hydrolyze soybean-based antinutritive factors, which negatively affect immune responses and gut microbiota. In this study, we investigated the effects of dietary proteases (PRO) in a low-crude protein (CP) commercial diet on the immune responses and gut microbiota of weaned pigs. The experimental design consisted of three dietary treatments: a commercial diet as a positive control (PC; phase1 CP = 23.71%; phase 2 CP: 22.36%), a lower CP diet than PC as negative control (NC; 0.61% less CP than PC), and NC diet supplement with 0.02% PRO. We found that PRO tended to decrease the frequency of diarrhea in the first two weeks after weaning compared with PC and NC. In addition, pigs fed PRO showed decreased TNF-α and TGF-β1 levels compared with those fed PC and NC. The PRO group had a higher relative proportion of the genus Lactobacillus and lower levels of the genus Streptococcus than the PC and NC groups. In conclusion, the addition of PRO to a low CP commercial weaned diet attenuated inflammatory responses and modified gut microbiota in weaned pigs.

  • An embedded motion controller supporting the PLC programming environment based on the IEC 61131-3 International Standard Language was developed in this paper. In this developed motion controller, the CoDeSys, one of the IEC61131-3 development tools, was embedded in order to support that of PLC as well as the development environment of the PC, and the various function blocks based on PLCopen standard for motion control such as the linear and circular interpolation control were implemented. Moreover, the ethernet based remote control on real-time operating system and the motion simulator for a motion programmer were implemented.

  • In the mechanical system, optimization of motion control is very essential in the aspect of automation technique progress. In the servo system, the function of controller is very important but most of the controllers have played only the role of pulse generator because the controller with main function is very expensive. In this thesis, the system was composed of PC, commonly used driver AC servo motor and a produced control board. The PC transmit a gain, a locus data to a driver and controller. At the same time, it converts imformation from the controller and convert them into data and offer an output with graph. The role of a controller is to trasmit a locus data to a driver and counting the pulse on the phase of an encoder to the PC. We have performed the experiment in order to confirm with variable PID parameter capable of the optimization of gain tuning with the counting of feedback control sensor signal with regard to the external interface into the system, such as torque. Based on the experiment result, we have confirmed as follows: First, it was confirmed that we could easily input control factors P.I Gain, constant $K_P,\;K_I$ into PC. Second, not only pulse generator function was possible, but with this pulse it was also possible to count using software with PIC chip. And third, using the multi-purpose PIC micro chip, simple operation and the formation of small size AC Servo Controller was possible.

  • In this paper a design of educational robot based on a PC and/or a microprocessor is discussed. The educational robot has 5 DOF and Is made with Swiss Mini Servomotor and Motor Controller IC LM629N. Also, a GUI(Graphical User Interface) is programmed by Visual Basic. This system is completed to consider control properties of the educational robot with 5-DOF that can be changed the parameter of controller by software.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a PC(personal computer) based open architecture machine tool controller. The hardware of open architecture CNC has generally a motion control board on a PC for controlling a servo motor. But this paper describes open architecture hardware that consists of a PC, a counter board a DAC board and a DIO board only. This makes it easy to generate CNC software module in a hardware-independent way. The proposed open architecture CNC software runs on the MS-Windows NT. The paper describes a method of con-trolling servo motors using a real-time timer of MS-Windows NT and a commercial real-time operating system on the MS-Windows. NT. An open and reconfigurable software module is made up of an object and an API(application programming interface). Using the object and the API a new CNC system can be quickly configured to control dif-ferent machine tools. The proposed open architecture CNC system is applied to 4-axis lettering center.

  • A highly efficient hydropneumatic water supply system type BGY is designed and built in accordance with ISO standard. The technical features of BYG type pump unit can be summarized as follows: - reduce hydropneumatic tank capacity at the ratio of 1/10 - 1/30 compared with conventional method. - ISO standard pumps can be used. - the development of highly efficient water supply system type BYG is based on long-term experiences with the proven constant pressure water supply technique which minimize pressure fluctuation, rapid pilsation, etc. The text contains the operation principle of BYG type water supply system, introduction of closed cycle control process focused on Mini PC and experimental results of type BYG-IVS-90x45.
