Design of Advanced Tele-operated Control System for Unmanned Vehicle

  • It is materialized an unmanned vehicle system as a part of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) which is a fundamental constituent for unmanned vehicle. Remote control system, monitoring system and remote operating system which are consisted of unmanned vehicle system. Network program by TCP/IP socket, and real-time control & operating controlled by servo-motors from a remote place, those are used to verify safety and stability of the unmanned vehicle system in this research. This unmanned vehicle is divided into two major sections which are an unmanned vehicle part and control station part. The server PC is installed on the unmanned vehicle and a client PC is installed at a remote place, which can control the u manned vehicle. In this research work, main theme is that we experimented and tested to check the speed and utilization of the wireless LAN communication.

  • In this paper, we have developed the web-based management system for greenhouse teleoperation. The remote control system consists of database, web-server, controller in greenhouse, and clients. The database in the server stores user informations and greenhouse conditions, and is used to manage user login and conditioning data. The management system developed by using Java applet, which is a client program for effective and easy management of greenhouse, monitors the greenhouse in real time. Master and driver boards installed in greenhouse control unit. Database on flowering to collect and analyze data exchanges data with the server. The greenhouse can be managed effectively by timer routine, repeat control within setting time, and algorithm of setting points. Also, the greenhouse conditions can be controlled by manual or remote controller (PC) through web browser in internet. Furthermore, all of the control devices of the greenhouse are managed by remote control using PC and checked via camera installed in greenhouse.

  • Recently, multi client PC technologies that several users can use one set of computer at the same time are being designed to use the surplus computer resource. In general, as the existing PC management system considers only a single client PC that only one user uses a computer, various kinds of complicated problems may be arisen. This paper designs and realizes a remote management system that can monitor and control the information used in the windows based OS multi-client using WMI technology. The proposed system herein uses WMI technology and newly defined client management protocol and provides the monitoring and control functions on individual resource use information of multi-client. As well, it provides a communication function between the server and the client, and locking setting and access control functions.

  • In this paper, we implement the multimedia remote control system by using existing internet service or wired online. We also provide user-friendly convenient environment with developed application program named EzPlay and PC-EPG. The multimedia remote control system consists of integrated wireless transceiver of PC and TV connected USB type and the users can easily use lots of contents because EzPlay program provides appropriate UI mode on the PC and TV screen. The unposed system can operate real-time playing, reserved video receding and data storing function using internet mesh based on signal detecting control theory. The PC-EPG system is implemented by server/client web program and the client program based on visual C++/MFC processes data storing in client computer through TCP/IP. It also provides intelligent function that constructs database according to user's preference.

  • In the industrial field nowadays the information that needs to be handled arc increasing and requires faster speed in contrast with PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) or DCS(Distributed Control System) based control systems these days. The work environment these days are mostly based on PC, so the control systems are wanted in PC. At Fieldbus used automated systems performing distributed process control by PC performs and combines into one system in order to maximize the increase of productivity, lower the expense, planning constructing and maintaining the reliance of automation. These latest automation systems unites process, makes distributed control process able, and can control and supervise at remote PC.

  • Recently, with the development of network technology, the web-based remote control systems and the real time remote control systems that do not have any restrictions at any time and space are many developed in the several industry FA field. In this paper, we developed the graphic editor screen of the client PC (PDA) with wireless network and the real time remote control system that can access the industry's server and can control the transmission of data for the FA of iron and steel industry field. Implementation of this system brought on the several effects of the decrease of the worker's movement, the control of quick equipments, a step-up in production efficiency, and the decrease of maintenance expense and so on in administration side of industry field.

  • Existing, widely used industrial controller programmable logic controller (PLC) using the high cost and maintenance was a difficult problem. In addition, the network configuration was not easy. Thus, the filter press by remote control and management to improve productivity and shorten maintenance time. Variety of smart devices (smart phones, iPad, tablet PC, etc.) Remote control is possible by utilizing the existing controlled by the PLC addresses maintenance and improved performance compared to that of possible filter press control and management system was developed.
