Recently, Construction Business, is changing very quickly, exceedingly needs to slim down the construction expensive by reducing material costs and the term of works. The term of formwork takes 25% of the term of works and costs 15% to 20% of the cost of construction. Hereupon, the purpose of this study is to investigate the Axial Strength of Centrifugall Formed Shell PC Columns that can reduce the term of formwork, the costs of material, the difficulty of throwing away the waste. Shell PC Column is loaded stirrups and manufactured at factory, so it has good points like construction's quality control and part's precision. However, it needs to be tested for checking bonded ability because it is set up at core and coverd with concrete. therefore this study is necessary three type of columns, which are a RC column, different type of two compressive strength core concrete columns and a Shell PC Column. By three columns, this study compare with and analysis three columns's bonded and Compressive Behavior abilities.
A lateral load resisting system is a necessary structural element for the mid- to high-rise modular buildings and concrete cores are known as the most typical lateral load resisting systems in 10- to 20-story modular buildings. It is difficult to construct a concrete core simultaneously with the installation and finishing work of modular units because concrete placed using wet methods might contaminate or destroy the modular unit. Therefore, we have developed a hybrid PC (precast concrete) panel construction method that can construct a concrete core together with the installation of modular units. The hybrid PC panel is a load-bearing element in which a pair of C-shaped beams are combined at the top and bottom of a concrete wall. Concrete cores can be constructed by dry method to connect the hybrid PC panels with bolts. In this study, the details and connection of hybrid PC panels are improved to have the lateral performance comparable to reinforced concrete structural walls and are verified through FE analysis.

The present study is mainly aimed at securing adequate pores which are applicable to the aquatic environment and satisfying the required strength of porous concrete as a structure by substituting pumice for crushed stone which is usually used for the fabrication of porous concrete. Accordingly, in order to deduce the optimum mixing conditions applicable to the aquatic environment, we sought to evaluate the porosity, coefficient of permeability and compressive strength of porous concrete based on the target porosity and the mixing factors for pumice. By examining the porosity and coefficient of permeability of porous concrete and the physical properties of its compressive strength based on the target porosity and the mixing factors for pumice, it is judged that the optimum mixtures for porous concrete applicable to the aquatic environment which satisfy both the necessity of securing adequate pores and the required strength for porous concrete as a structure are PC I I-10-0, PC I I-10-5 and PC I I-10-10.
In order to improve the workability in erecting Precast Concrete (PC) members and enhance the seismic resistance capacity of the joints in PC moment frames, a new PC column and its construction process are introduced in this paper. This column is manufactured by centrifugal force in keeping the hollow tube inside; the hollow is little bit wide and the grout can be poured from top to bottom after erection at site so that more compact grouting is possible in horizontal joint. The repeated cyclic loading test for four full scaled specimens was conducted to evaluate the seismic resistance capacity of the joint designed by the proposed system. For the continuity of main reinforcements in column, two connecting methods are used in designing specimens; one is to use mechanical connector and other is lab splice. From the cyclic lateral loading test, it was found that the seismic capacity of the developed PC column joint is comparable to that of monolithic joint.
Cast-in-place concrete-filled hollow PC (HPC) columns are used to reduce lifting load of heavy-weight PC columns and to improve the structural integrity of joints. In the present study, a new type of HPC column was proposed to improve the productivity and structural integrity of the concrete. To form the hollow PC columns, a permanent inner form was prefabricated using structural deck plates and penetrated lateral bars. Half-scale specimens of four HPC columns were tested under combined axial compression and lateral cyclic loading to evaluate the seismic resistance. In the design of test specimens, various parameters such as the spacing of lateral re-bars, the use of steel fiber, and the thickness of PC cover were considered. The test results showed that the proposed HPC columns generally exhibited satisfactory load-carrying capacity and deformation capacity without brittle failure of PC. If closely spaced hoops or fiber reinforcements are used for PC, the deformation capacity can be improved further by restraining PC spalling.
Two types of cast-in-place concrete-filled hollow PC (HPC1, HPC2) columns were developed to reduce lifting load of heavy-weight PC columns and to improve the structural integrity of joints. To form the hollow PC columns, a couple of prefabricated PC panels was used for HPC1, and special hoops were used for HPC2. Lateral pressure of wet concrete on PC faces was measured while placing the concrete inside the columns. To evaluate the seismic resistance, full scale specimens of two HPC columns and a conventional RC column were tested under combined axial compression and lateral cyclic loading. The test results showed that the structural performance of the proposed HPC columns such as intial stiffness, maximum strength, and displacement ductility was comparable to that of the conventional RC column, but the energy dissipation of HPC2 slightly decreased after rebar-buckling. However, all the test specimens satisfied the energy dissipation requirement specified in ACI 374.

Research trends of concrete-polymer composite were analyzed based on 549 papers that were presented at international Congresses on Polymer in Concrete that have been opened seven times all around world since 1975. The analysis revealed that relative quantities of the papers about PC, PCC, PIC and others were 51%, 24%, 13% and 12%, in the order. Basic research was the main stream for PCC, PC, PIC. In PC study, however, it was shown that many researches were actively performed for application of PC.

Currently, composite construction of prestressed Precast Concrete (PC) and Cast-In-Place (CIP) concrete with different concrete strengths are frequently used in the modular construction. However, current design codes do not clearly define shear design methods for such composite beams. In this present study, simply supported prestressed PC-CIP composite beams without vertical shear reinforcement or only with horizontal shear reinforcement were tested to evaluate the effect of prestressing on the shear strength and the shear design method for such composite members. The test variables were the area ratio of PC and CIP concretes, prestressing force, shear span-to-depth ratio, and shear reinforcement ratio. The results showed that the shear strength was increased by the increase of prestressing force and prestressed PC area, and the decrease of shear span-to-depth ratio.
