  • 이상기후로 인한 자연 재해의 발생규모는 점차 증가하고 있다. 이는 시민의 안전과 재산을 위협하는 요인 중 하나이며, 시민 개인의 안전 침해 뿐 아니라 국가적 재산에 해당하는 SOC 시설물의 위협 역시 심각한 피해라고 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 최근 SOC 시설물에 대한 재난 대응 측면의 모니터링 시스템을 구축 및 개발 하고 있으며, 그를 지원하는 현장 지원 모바일 시스템을 연계하는 방안을 모색하는 연구가 급증 하고 있다. 하지만 현장에 있는 시설물 담당자의 측면에서는 실시간으로 모니터링 시스템을 신속하게 활용할 수 없으며, 모듈 단위가 융합하여 구동되는 무거운 사양의 시스템이 일반 PC에서 원활이 구동될 것이라는 보장이 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는, 재난시에 발생할 수 있는 SOC 시설물에 대한 피해정보를 시뮬레이션 해주는 3차원 표출 시스템과, 그에 대한 일반 정보를 간단하게 확인 할 수 있는 모바일 어플리케이션 간의 원활한 연계 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 재난 정보는 지리정보 뿐 아니라 지리정보와 연계되는 다양한 정보들이 융합되어 있어 그에 대한 원 데이터를 실시간으로 모바일 상에 전송할 수 없으며, 이를 단순화 시킨 정보를 전송해야할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 해당하는 정보를 영상화 및 압축 하여 보다 신속하고 효율적으로 정보를 받아볼 수 있도록 하는 체계를 수립하고, 그에 맞는 시스템을 설계하고자 한다. 이를 기반으로 효율적인 재난 정보 압축방안을 마련하며, 향후 신속한 정보 송 수신 체계를 확보할 수 있다.

  • 최근 모바일 단말 기술과 정보통신 기술의 급격한 발달로 국내외 이동통신사들은 새로운 킬러 콘텐츠로 주목받고 있는 모바일 3D 게임을 앞 다투어 제작 및 서비스하고 있다. 모바일 3D 게임의 경우, 용량 증가로 인한 데이터 통신비 부담을 줄이기 위하여 PC 다운로드 S/W을 통한 다운로드 방법이 제공되면서 불법 복제 우려에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 현재 불법 복제 방지와 관련하여 GVM/GNEX 인증 모듈이 적용되고 있으나, 모바일 3D 콘텐츠에 대한 저작권 보호 기술 및 워터마킹 기술을 적용함으로써 콘텐츠 접근제어 및 불법배포 추적을 동시에 달성할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모바일 3D 콘텐츠의 저작권 보호를 위하여 익명 Buyer-Seller 워터마킹 프로토콜 상에서 3D 콘텐츠 내의 공간영역 및 암호화 영역 내에 다중 워터마크를 삽입하는 방법을 제안한다. 성능평가를 위한 비가시성 및 강인성 실험을 통하여 본 제안 기법의 콘텐츠 접근제어가 가능하며 비가시성, 강인성 면에서 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • 무선인터넷의 발달과 스마트 디바이스의 보급이 유비쿼터스 시대를 앞당기고 있다. 스마트 TV와 스마트 에어컨 등 네트워크 기반의 가전 기기들이 등장 하면서 모든 제품들을 네트워크 환경으로 묶어 사용하는 시대가 열린 것이다. 이러한 스마트 기기들이 등장함과 동시에 스마트 폰을 활용하여 유비쿼터스 디바이스를 제어하는 어플리케이션들도 많이 등장하였다. PC를 제어하거나 스마트 TV를 제어하는 어플리케이션은 안드로이드 마켓이나 애플 스토어에서 킬러 앱으로 각광 받고 있다. 그러나 이러한 스마트 디바이스들이 아직은 많이 보급되지 않았다. 아직도 각 가정에서는 스마트 TV가 아닌 보통 TV를 사용하는 경우가 많고, 에어컨의 경우 수명이 더 길어 스마트 에어컨 등이 보급되기 까지는 더욱 더 시간이 걸릴 것으로 보인다. 본 논문에서는 증강현실과 적외선 모듈을 이용하여 유비쿼터스 환경에 포함되지 못한 디바이스들을 스마트 폰으로 제어할 수 있는 AR Remote System을 제안한다.

Design and Implementation of Internet Broadcasting System based on P2P Architecture (P2P 구조에 기반한 인터넷 방송 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • IStreaming services with a client-server architecture have scalability problem because a server cannot accomodate clients more than its processing capability. This paper introduces a case study for implementing H.264 streaming system based on P2P architecture in order to provide scalable and stable broadcast streaming services over the internet. The prototype system called OmniCast264 consists of the H.264 encoding server, the streaming server, the proxy server, and peer nodes. The proxy server dynamically manages placement of the peer nodes on the P2P network. Omnicast264 has the concepts of distributed streaming loads, real-time playback, error-robustness and modularity. Thus, it can provide large-scale broadcast streaming services. Finally, we have built P2P streaming systems with 12 PCs connected serially or in parallel. The experiment shows that OmniCast264 can provide real-time playback.

  • U-health services have been progressed as treatment and management for specific diseases and prevention services for providing the behavior management to customers according to the increase in chronic patients. The conventional U-health services provide required services and bio-information monitoring only through remote diagnoses and counsels and that represent limitations in preventing and managing metabolic syndrome patients like chronic patients. Thus, in this study a multi platform based U-health service model for managing the health of chronic patients is proposed. The multi-platform based U-health service model can provide continuous health information, diet, and exercise services regardless of the location of customers through PCs and smart phones. In addition, it is able to provide prescription services to doctors and nurses using a CDS (Clinical Decision Support) module based on clinical information. Doctors can identify the life pattern of patients through a behavior modification program and provide customized services to patients. The U-health service model provides effective services in multi-platform environments to customers and that will improve the health of chronic patients.

  • According to the increasing of the internet infrastructure and growth of contents technology, the users can access an education service at anytime and anywhere. In a field of English education, especially, internet technology has enabled learners to communicate with their teachers and multimedia contents technology has been able to provide learner not only lots of interests, but also good effect on English learning. In this paper, we propose a method diagnosing learner's level by using some question-items, which consist of item's type and item's function. Futhermore, the proposed system can support three devices which are PC, PDA, and Mobile Phone on wired and wireless internet communication environments. Also, the system provides multimedia contents including flash movies, image, and audio contents. We have applied the system into real classroom, and we verified that the question-items that system provides has no problem, and our method could improve each learner skill on English education. Therefore, we expect that learner who uses the proposed system will get level-based English learning service at anytime and anywhere.

  • In this paper, UPnP Network SaaS model has been studied. Currently, this model of UPnP Network and the trade mission is being used by outsourcing. From now on, the introduction of new trading systems and existing systems and the commercialization of this model as a UPnP network service connection should work. The future of UPnP network SaaS model will become commercially available software, commercial software can be accessed remotely via the Internet should be. Customer site activities must be managed from a central location. Application software architecture, pricing, partnerships, management should not include the character models. N should be the model. When used in small and medium enterprises have a very high value.

  • The new medical device technologies for bio-signal information and medical information which developed in various forms have been increasing. Information gathering techniques and the increasing of the bio-signal information device are being used as the main information of the medical service in everyday life. Hence, there is increasing in utilization of the various bio-signals, but it has a problem that does not account for security reasons. Furthermore, the medical image information and bio-signal of the patient in medical field is generated by the individual device, that make the situation cannot be managed and integrated. In order to solve that problem, in this paper we integrated the QR code signal associated with the medial image information including the finding of the doctor and the bio-signal information. bio-signal. System implementation environment for medical imaging devices and bio-signal acquisition was configured through bio-signal measurement, smart device and PC. For the ROI extraction of bio-signal and the receiving of image information that transfer from the medical equipment or bio-signal measurement, .NET Framework was used to operate the QR server module on Window Server 2008 operating system. The main function of the QR server module is to parse the DICOM file generated from the medical imaging device and extract the identified ROI information to store and manage in the database. Additionally, EMR, patient health information such as OCS, extracted ROI information needed for basic information and emergency situation is managed by QR code. QR code and ROI management and the bio-signal information file also store and manage depending on the size of receiving the bio-singnal information case with a PID (patient identification) to be used by the bio-signal device. If the receiving of information is not less than the maximum size to be converted into a QR code, the QR code and the URL information can access the bio-signal information through the server. Likewise, .Net Framework is installed to provide the information in the form of the QR code, so the client can check and find the relevant information through PC and android-based smart device. Finally, the existing medical imaging information, bio-signal information and the health information of the patient are integrated over the result of executing the application service in order to provide a medical information service which is suitable in medical field.

A Collaborative Video Annotation and Browsing System using Linked Data (링크드 데이터를 이용한 협업적 비디오 어노테이션 및 브라우징 시스템)

  • Previously common users just want to watch the video contents without any specific requirements or purposes. However, in today's life while watching video user attempts to know and discover more about things that appear on the video. Therefore, the requirements for finding multimedia or browsing information of objects that users want, are spreading with the increasing use of multimedia such as videos which are not only available on the internet-capable devices such as computers but also on smart TV and smart phone. In order to meet the users. requirements, labor-intensive annotation of objects in video contents is inevitable. For this reason, many researchers have actively studied about methods of annotating the object that appear on the video. In keyword-based annotation related information of the object that appeared on the video content is immediately added and annotation data including all related information about the object must be individually managed. Users will have to directly input all related information to the object. Consequently, when a user browses for information that related to the object, user can only find and get limited resources that solely exists in annotated data. Also, in order to place annotation for objects user's huge workload is required. To cope with reducing user's workload and to minimize the work involved in annotation, in existing object-based annotation automatic annotation is being attempted using computer vision techniques like object detection, recognition and tracking. By using such computer vision techniques a wide variety of objects that appears on the video content must be all detected and recognized. But until now it is still a problem facing some difficulties which have to deal with automated annotation. To overcome these difficulties, we propose a system which consists of two modules. The first module is the annotation module that enables many annotators to collaboratively annotate the objects in the video content in order to access the semantic data using Linked Data. Annotation data managed by annotation server is represented using ontology so that the information can easily be shared and extended. Since annotation data does not include all the relevant information of the object, existing objects in Linked Data and objects that appear in the video content simply connect with each other to get all the related information of the object. In other words, annotation data which contains only URI and metadata like position, time and size are stored on the annotation sever. So when user needs other related information about the object, all of that information is retrieved from Linked Data through its relevant URI. The second module enables viewers to browse interesting information about the object using annotation data which is collaboratively generated by many users while watching video. With this system, through simple user interaction the query is automatically generated and all the related information is retrieved from Linked Data and finally all the additional information of the object is offered to the user. With this study, in the future of Semantic Web environment our proposed system is expected to establish a better video content service environment by offering users relevant information about the objects that appear on the screen of any internet-capable devices such as PC, smart TV or smart phone.

Long-term Monitoring System for Ship's Engine Performance Analysis Based on the Web (선박엔진성능분석용 웹기반 장기모니터링시스템 구현)

  • This paper implements a long-term monitoring system (LMS) for ship's engine performance analysis (SEPA) based on the web, for the purpose of the communication speed and engine maintenance. This system is composed of a simulator, monitoring module with a multi channel A/D converter, monitoring computer, network attached storage (NAS), RS485 serial and wireless internet communication system. The existing products monitor the information transmitted from pressure sensors installed in the upper parts of each of engines in the local or web computer, but have a delay in the communication speed and errors in long-term monitoring due to the large volume of sampling pressure data. To improve these problems, the monitoring computer saves the sampling pressure data received from the pressure sensors in NAS, monitors the long-term sampling data generated by the sectional down sampling method on a local computer, and transmits them to the web for long-term monitoring. Because this method has one tenth of the original sampling data, it will use memory with small capacity, save communication cost, monitor the long-term sampling data for 30 days, and as a result, make a great contribution to engine maintenance.
