  • Objectives This study is to know the current usage of Ha-Taedok Method in Korean pediatrician. Methods 69 questionnaires were statistically analyzed by using PASW Statistics 18. Results 55 Korean Medicine doctors knew Ha-Taedok Method, but only 2 doctors were using Ha-Taedok Method in their practice. The doctors tend not to use Ha-Taedok Method because it was hard to get permission from the patient's caregiver. 11 Korean Medicine doctors used Ha-Taedok Method to their own children though. The pediatricians felt satisfied from the effect of Ha-Taedok Method especially because it can prevent from disease. They reported no side effect and adverse effect. Coptidis Rhizoma is a preferred herb to use along with Ha-Taedok Method. For a better result from Ha-Taedok Method, it is recommended to start within 3 days old of patient. Conclusions Ha-Taedok Method may be effective as preventive method.

  • Purpose: This study was done to explore clinical competence and factors related to competence in nursing students. Methods: Data were collected using structured questionnaires from 210 students in three different schools located in D, B and P metropolitan cities, Korea. Data were using PASW (SPSS) 18.0 program, and included t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlations coefficients, and multiple regression analyses. Results: There were positive correlations between clinical competence and ego-resilience (r=.40. p<.001), critical thinking dispositions (r=.58, p<.001), and self-leadership (r=.14, p=.043). Variables such as critical thinking dispositions, ego-resilience, satisfaction with clinical practice education, health status and academic performance explained 48% of variance in clinical competence. Conclusion: According to the above results, a specific education program for clinical competence of student nurses is needed to increase critical thinking dispositions, ego-resilience, satisfaction with clinical practice education, health status and academic performance.

Results: There was no significant difference between small-medium hospital nurses and general hospital nurses in internal marketing and customer orientation. But nurses in small-medium hospitals had higher levels of job satisfaction than general hospital nurses. Conclusions: These findings demonstrate the necessity of developing programs that will help to improve job satisfaction in nurses.

Results: The results showed a positive correlation between self-efficacy and sexual autonomy (r=.56, p<.001), sexual health knowledge (r=.50, p<.001), and attitude to sex (r=.29, p=.001). These 4 variables accounted for 48.7% of the variance in sexual autonomy among college students. • The central purpose of the current research is to identify how 12-week bodybuilding exercise affects muscle dysmorphia. The research subjects consisted of an experimental group and a control group, each with 16 freshmen at college. MDI(muscle dysmorphic inventory), developed by Schlundt, Woodford, Brownlee(2000) was utilized to collect relevant data, which was analyzed by PASW 18.0. An independent two sample t-test was conducted to see whether there exists any significant difference between the two groups in the pre- and the post-tests. A paired t-test, in turn, was performed to identify whether there is any difference between the two tests for each group. The statistical significance level was set at p<.05. It was found that the experimental group marked a higher level of muscle dysmorphia than the control group in the pre-test. It was also found that muscle dysmorphia of the experimental group increased in the post-test, while no significant difference was manifested in the control group in the post-test.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically grasp the relationship between website immersion and website attitude by the attribute factors of the Taekwondo information website and provide it as basic data for effective operation of the Taekwondo information website. The subjects of this study were Taekwondo athletes enrolled in high schools and universities affiliated with the Korean Taekwondo Association, and the sampling method was sampled using the convient sampling method, a non-probability sampling method. Of the 820 questionnaires finally obtained, 789 were processed using PASW Statistics 20.0 and AMOS, except for 31 that were deemed to have poor respondents' contents or were not valuable as data. For data analysis, the statistical analysis techniques used in this study were frequency analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's α test, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis (SEM), and the significance level of the research hypothesis was α=.It was verified at 05. The following conclusions were drawn through such research methods and procedures. First, information, entertainment, structure, cognition, searchability, and connectivity of Taekwondo information website attributes affect website immersion.
