  • Quality attributes of fresh-cut pak-choi (Brassica campestris var. chinensis) as affected by hydrocooling and packing were investigated in terms of weight loss, respiration, vitamin C content, total chlorophyll content, microbial load and sensory properties during storage at 4 and $10^{\circ}C$. Fresh pak-choi was trimmed and washed with cold water $(1^{\circ}C)$ as well as tap water $(6^{\circ}C)$ for 30 sec 3 times and then packaged in PP (polypropylene) film bag and PETE (polyethylene terephthalate) bay, and stored for 9 days at 4 and $10^{\circ}C$. Weight loss was decreased by washing and packing generally. Respiration rate was increased slowly over the storage at $4^{\circ}C$. Vitamin C content and total chlorophyll contents of pak-choi packaged within PETE bay decreased gradually during storage. Hydrocooling and packing within PETE bay treatments resulted in approximately 1-2 log CFU/g reduction of microbial load.

  • This study is based on the 15th century's architecture Mohwagwan and Taepyeonggwan and the architects behind it. The results were as follows: First, inline with Ming dynasty's protocol, the King of Joseon marched with honor guard in front of his people. Therefore, the Joseon dynasty needed to match space was implemented and result in Mohwagwan and Taepyeonggwan. Second, King Taejong founded Mohwaru to share the role with Taepyeonggwan. He appropriately utilized Mohwaru as a place in manners before people enter the Seoul city wall. And He organized this architecture on the level of the palace. Third, Pak Jacheong was overseer the whole constructive process, from the selection of site, landscaping, construction, maintenance to civil engineering of Mohwaru. There are many difficulties, but he completed through the construction work owing to the protection of King Taejong. Forth, Hong Li worked with Pak Jacheong to build Taepyeonggwan and Mohwagwan from Taejong to Sejong. Supervisors in King Sejong times were required not only private capability but also understanding the Confucianism ritual. Hong Li was faithfully performed the role. Fifth, Sejong was recognized only an excellent ruler but he was also a great coordinator with a professional knowledge about architecture. These Sejong's action fully can be seen as an architect.

  • A Signcryption proposed by Yuliang Zheng in 1997 is a hybrid public key primitive that combines a digital signature and a encryption. It provides more efficient method than a straightforward composition of an signature scheme with a encryption scheme. In a mobile communication environment, the authenticated key agreement protocol should be designed to have lower computational complexity and memory requirements. The password-based authenticated key exchange protocol is to authenticate a client and a server using an easily memorable password. This paper proposes an secure Authenticated Key Exchange protocol using Signcryption scheme. In Addition we also show that it is secure and a more efficient that other exiting authenticated key exchange protocol.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the magnitude of mandibular rotational torque movements in subjects with TMJ sounds, and to analyse correlation between quantitative characteristics of TMJ sounds and mandibular rotational torque movement. Twenty dental college students with TMJ clicking and twenty students without any TMD signs and symptoms were examined by mean of SonoPak and Rotate program of BioPAK system(Bioresearch Inc. MilWaukee, wisconsin, USA) in this study. Mandibular rotational torque movements were recorded and analysed during maximum mouth opening, protrusion, and lateral excursion in frontal and horizontal planes. The obtained results were as follows: 1. On maximum mouth opening, mandibular rotational angle and distance of clicking group were significantly greater than those of control group in frontal plane. (P<0.05). 2. During maximum mouth opening closing, maximum mandibular rotational angle and distance of clicking group were significantly greater than those of control group in frontal plane. (P<0.01). 3. On protrusion, mandibular rotational angle and distance of clickin group were significantly greater than those of control group in horizontal plane. (P<0.05). 4. On lateral excursion, there was no significant difference in mandibular rotational angle and distance between clicking group and control group in frontal and horizontal planes. 5. There were significant correlations between peak amplitude of TMJ sounds and maximum mandibular rotational distance during maximum mouth opening (r=-.481) and mandibular rotational distance on maximum mouth opening (r=-.455) in horizontal plane. 6. There were significant correlations between Above 300/(0-300)Hz ratio of TMJ sounds and mandibular rotational angle (r=-.499) and distance (r=-.457) on maximum mouth opening in frontal plane.
