O2/FTES-ICPCVD 방법에 의한 Fluorocarbonated-$SiO_2$ 박막형성

  • 차세대 기억소자에서는 집접도의 증가, 고속화, 그리고 미세화에 따라 배선간으 최소선폭이 작아지고, 새로운 다층 배선기술이 요구되는 가운데 층간절연막의 재료와 형성기술은 소자의 특성을 향상시켜주는 중요한 요소로서 열적안정성, 저유전율, 평탄화특성 등에 핵심을 두고 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 5인치 p-Si(100) 위에 FTES와 O2를 precursor로 하고 carrier gas를 Ar gas하여 ICP CVD 방법으로 저유전율의 Fluorocarbonated-SiO2 박막을 형성하였다. 0.1-1kW, 13.56MHz인 rf power를 사용하였으며, 증착은 RT에서 5~10분으로 하였다. 형성된 박막은 FTIR(fourier transform infrared), XPS(x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), 그리고 ellipsopsometer 등을 이용하여 결합모드와 F농도, 균일도 등을 측정하고, I-V와 C-V 측정장치, 그리고 SERM(scanning electrion microscopy) 등을 이용하여 유전상수, 누설전류, dielectric breakdown voltage, 그리고 박막의 stepcoverage를 측정하였다. 제작된 박막의 신뢰성은 열처리에 따른 전기적 특성으로부터 조사하였다. 형성된 fluorocarbonated 박막 결합모드는 Si-F, Si-O, O-C, C-C와 C-F였고 O2:FTES:Ar 유량을 1sccm:10sccm:6sccm으로 하여 증착한 시료에서 유전율은 2.8이었으며, 누설전류밀도는 8$\times$10-9A/cm2, Breakdown voltage는 10MV/cm 이상, 그리고 stepcoverage는 91%로 측정되었다.

  • We synthesized polyethylene, poly(ethylene-co-1-decene), poly(ethylene-co-p-methylstyrene), and poly(ethylene-ter-1-decene-ter-p-methystyrene) using a rac-$Et(Ind)_2ZrCl_2$ metallocene catalyst and a methylaluminoxane cocatalyst system. The materials were characterized using nuclear magnetic spectroscopy and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. To identify suitable reaction conditions for terpolymerization, we studied the effects of catalyst content, cocatalyst/catalyst molar ratio, polymerization time, and polymerization temperature. As the catalyst content increased, the catalytic activity and the molecular weight of the terpolymers increased. The catalytic activity sharply increased but little change was observed after a polymerization time of 30 min. The increase in the cocatalyst/catalyst molar ratio resulted in a decrease in the molecular weight of the terpolymers and an increase in the catalytic activity to some degree. The catalytic activity increased with increasing polymerization temperature, while the molecular weight of the terpolymers decreased.

Removal of deltamethrin insecticide over highly porous activated carbon prepared from pistachio nutshells

  • Potassium hydroxide-activated carbons (CK21, CK11, and CK12) were prepared from pistachio nutshells. Physicochemical properties of activated carbons were characterized by TGA, $pH_{pzc}$, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and $N_2$-adsorption at $-196^{\circ}C$. The examinations showed that activated carbons have high surface area ranging between 695-1218 $m^2/g$, total pore volume ranging between 0.527-0.772 mL/g, and a pore radius around 1.4 nm. The presence of acidic and basic surface C-O groups was confirmed. Batch adsorption experiments were carried out to study the effects of adsorbent dosage, temperature, initial concentration of adsorbate, and contact time on deltamethrin adsorption by activated carbons. The kinetic studies showed that the adsorption data followed a pseudo-second order kinetic model. The Langmuir model showed a maximum adsorption capacity of 162.6 mg/g at $35^{\circ}C$ on CK12. Thermodynamic studies indicated that adsorption was spontaneous and increased with temperature, suggesting an endothermic process.

  • Plant biomass has been proposed as an alternative source of petroleum-based chemical compounds. Especially, aromatic chemical compounds can be obtained from lignin by depolymerization processes because the lignin consist of complex aromatic materials. In this study, kraft lignin, the largest emitted substance among several kinds of lignin in Korea, was used as a starting material and was characterized by solid-state $^{13}C$-Muclear Magnetic Resonance($^{13}C$-NMR), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR), Elemental Analysis(EA). The depolymerization of kraft lignin was studied at water-phenol mixture solvent in near critical region and the experiments were conducted using a batch type reactor. The effects of water-to-phenol ratio and reaction temperature($300-400^{\circ}C$) were investigated to determine the optimum operating conditions. Additionally, the effects of formic acid as a hydrogen-donor solvent instead of $H_2$ gas were examined. The chemical species and quantities in the liquid products were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy(GC-MS), and solid residues(char) were analyzed using FT-IR. GC-MS analysis confirmed that the aromatic chemicals such as anisole, o-cresol(2-methylphenol), p-cresol(4-methylphenol), 2-ethylphenol, 4-ethylphenol, dibenzofuran, 3-methyl cabazole and xanthene were produced when phenol was added in the water as a co-solvent.

  • In this paper, we are studied a electrical properties study with P.D.GEORGE/STER LING Co. P.B 302-LV-2 POLYBUTADIENE RESIN which is used for VPI(Vacuum Pressure Impregnation)processing of field magnet and armature of traction motor in Korean national railroad at present was carried out its FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infra-Red) volume resistivity characteristics. The varnishes were experimented with the temperature range form $25[^{\circ}C]$ to $180[^{\circ}C]$ and applied voltage were supplied at 100, 250, 500, 1,000[V]. In this condition, the volume resistivity for specimens were measured. From the above study, the following data obtained for volume resistivity. It can be confirmed that velume resistivity with the increase of temperature is lower rapidly from room temperature to $130[^{\circ}C]$, and it is lower slowly at temperature higher than $130[^{\circ}C]$. Volume resistivity value is higher, according as the specimen is thick gradually. As the applied voltage is higher in the same temperature, volume resistivity value is lower.

  • Series expansion is applied to solve the laminar boundary layer equations for the problem of natural convection from vertical cylinder with uniform surface heat flux. The series in terms of transverse curvature parameter ${\xi}$ is extended to five terms and is well converged by applying the Shanks transform twice. In case of natural convection from a vertical cylinder heated with uniform surface heat flux, it is possible to consider the vertical cylinder as vertical plate under the condition of D/L${\geq}$A/$(Gr_L^*)^{1/5}$, where A is in the range of 5.7~55.2. Also, mean Nusselt number ${\overline{Nu_L}}$ can be represented as $C_1(Ra_L^*)^{1/5}$, where $C_1$ is a constant which depends on Pr and is in the range of 0.5~0.8.

  • $Eu_2(SO_4)_3$ was synthesized by chemical precipitation method and the crystal structure was determined by Rietveld analysis. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic space group C2/c. In the air environment, $Eu_2(SO_4)_3$ is stable up to $670^{\circ}C$. The sample of $Eu_2(SO_4)_3$ was examined by Raman, Fourier-transform infrared absorption and luminescence spectroscopy methods. The low site symmetry of $SO_4$ tetrahedra results in the appearance of the IR inactive ${\nu}_1$ mode around $1000cm^{-1}$ and ${\nu}_2$ modes below $500cm^{-1}$. The band intensities redistribution in the luminescent spectra of $Eu^{3+}$ ions is analyzed in terms of the peculiarities of its local environment.

Design and Analysis of Code Sequence Generating Algorithms using Almost Perfect Nonlinear Functions (APN 함수를 이용한 부호계열 발생 알고리즘 설계 빛 분석)

  • For cryptographic systems, nonlinearity is crucial since most linear systems are easily decipherable. C.Bracken, Z.Zhaetc., propose the APN(Almost Perfect Nonlinear) functions with the properties similar to those of the bent functions with perfect nonlinearity. We design two kinds of new code sequence generating algorithms using the above APN functions. And we find that the out of phase ${\tau}\;{\neq}\;0$, autocorrelation functions, $R_{ii}(\tau)$ and the crosscorrelation functions, $R_{ik}(\tau)$ of the binary code sequences generated by two new algorithms over GF(2), have three values of {-1, $-1-2^{n/2}$, $-1+2^{n/2}$}. We also find that the out of phase ${\tau}\;{\neq}\;0$, autocorrelation functions, $R_{p,ii}(\tau)$ and the crosscorrelation functions, $R_{p,ik}(\tau)$ of the nonbinary code sequences generated by the modified algorithms over GF(p), $p\;{\geq}\;3$, have also three values of {$-1+p^{n-1}$, $-1-p^{(n-1)/2}+p^{n-1}$, $-1+p^{(n-1)/2}p^{n-1}$}. We show that these code sequences have the characteristics of the correlation functions similar to those of Gold code sequences.

In the present paper, using simple formulas for the conditional expectations with the conditioning functions $X_n$ and $X_{n+1}$, we evaluate the $L_p(1{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty})$-analytic conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms and the conditional convolution products of the functions which have the form $${\int}_{L_2[0,t]}{{\exp}\{i(v,x)\}d{\sigma}(v)}{{\int}_{\mathbb{R}^r}}\;{\exp}\{i{\sum_{j=1}^{r}z_j(v_j,x)\}dp(z_1,{\cdots},z_r)$$ for $x{\in}C[0,t]$, where $\{v_1,{\cdots},v_r\}$ is an orthonormal subset of $L_2[0,t]$ and ${\sigma}$ and ${\rho}$ are the complex Borel measures of bounded variations on $L_2[0,t]$ and $\mathbb{R}^r$, respectively. We then investigate the inverse transforms of the function with their relationships and finally prove that the analytic conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms of the conditional convolution products for the functions, can be expressed in terms of the products of the conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms of each function.

Studies on Microbial Transformation of Meloxicam by Fungi

  • Screening-scale studies were performed with 26 fungal cultures for their ability to transform the anti-inflammatory drug meloxicam. Among the different fungi screened, a filamentous fungus, Cunninghamella blakesleeana NCIM 687, transformed meloxicam to three metabolites in significant quantities. The transformation of meloxicam was confirmed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Based on the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) data, two metabolites were predicted to be 5-hydroxymethyl meloxicam and 5-carboxy meloxicam, the major mammalian metabolites reported previously. A new metabolite was produced, which is not detected in mammalian systems. Glucose medium, pH of 6.0, temperature of $27^{\circ}C$, 5-day incubation period, dimethylformamide as solvent, and glucose concentration of 2.0% were found to be suitable for maximum transformation of meloxicam when studied separately. It is concluded that C. blakesleeana can be employed for biotransformation of drugs for production of novel metabolites.
