초소형 광 픽업의 정적 오차 신호 검출 (Evaluation of Static Error Signal for Super Slim Optical Pick-up)

  • As a popularity of a portable digital device such as a cellular phone, a digital camera and a MP3 player is spreading, the demand of the mobile storage device increases rapidly. A bluray technology using 405nm laser diode and objective lens having high NA(Numerical Aperture), 0.85, satisfies a miniaturization and a high capacity which are the requirements of the portable device. To develop SFFOP(small form factor optical pickup), it is prerequisite to minimize the number of optical components and establish evaluation and assembly method of micro optical pickup system as well as mass production method of micro optical component. To minimize optical elements of optical pickup, there have been many researches to use P-HOE(Polarized Holographic Optical Element) due to its extremely small size and versatile function. However, P-HOE is handled and assembled very accurately in SFFOP. In this paper, static error signal detection method is developed for an alignment of P-HOE in SFFOP. Using developed static error signal detection method, P-HOE can be aligned very accurately with real time result of static error signals of pickup such as FES(focusing error signal) and TES(Tracking Error Signal). The developed static error signal detection method is verified by the evaluation of commercialized DVD Pickup. And finally. developed static error signal detection method is applied for the assembly of P-HOE in SFFOP system satisfies specification of BD(Blu-ray Disk).

유체 압력에 의한 흰쥐 심실근세포 pH의 감소 및 $Na^+-H^+$ 교환체의 활성화 (Decrease of Intracellular pH and Activation of $Na^+-H^+$ Exchanger by Fluid Pressure in Rat Ventricular Myocytes)

  • An increase in ventricular pressure can alter cardiac excitation and contraction. Recent report has demonstrated that fluid pressure (FP) suppresses L-type $Ca^{2+}$ current with acceleration of the current inactivation in ventricular myocytes. Since the L-type $Ca^{2+}$ channels known to be regulated by intracellular pH ($pH_i$), this study was designed to explore whether pressurized fluid flow affects pHi in isolated rat ventricular myocytes. A flow of pressurized (~16 dyne/$cm^2$) fluid, identical to that bathing the myocytes, was applied onto single myocytes, and intracellular $H^+$ concentration was monitored using confocal $H^+$ imaging. FP significantly decreased $pH_i$ by $0.07{\pm}0.01$ pH units (n=16, P<0.01). Intracellular acidosis enhances the activity of $Na^+-H^+$ exchanger (NHE). Therefore, we examined if the NHE activity is increased by FP using the NHE inhibitor, HOE642. Although HOE642 did not alter $pH_i$ in control conditions, it decreased $pH_i$ in cells pre-exposed to FP, suggesting enhancement of NHE activity by FP. In addition, FP-induced intracellular acidosis was larger in cells pre-treated with HOE642 than in cells under the control conditions. These results suggest that FP induces intracellular acidosis and that NHE may contribute to extrude $H^+$ during the FP-induced acidosis in rat ventricular myocytes.

  • Estimation and collection of the suitable recording materials are important for the fabrication of the holographic optical elements. In this study, silver halide emulsion, photoresist and dichromated gelatin are selected as a recording materials to investigate the properties and processing methods. Some parameters which affect the diffraction efficiencies of the holographic optical elements (HOE) are presented. As an example of the HOE, the results of design and the fabrication method of the off axis 12P hologram lens are also presented.

식물(植物) 생장(生長) 조절제(調節劑)가 벼 도복(倒伏)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effect of Plant Growth Regulators on Lodging in Rice)

  • 생장조절제(生長調節劑)인 Hoe78784와 PP-333의 처리(處理)는 공시(公試)된 모든 품종(品種)에 있어서 도복(倒伏)이 현저하게 감소(減少)하는 현상을 보였으나, 수잉기(穗孕期)때 이들 처리(處理)는 초장(草長)의 감소(減少)를 제외하고는 영양생장기관(營養生長器官)과 수량구성요소(數量構成要素)에는 크게 영향(影響)을 미치지는 않았다. Hoe78784와 PP-333의 처리(處理)는 도복(倒伏)의 감소로 인(因)한 IR21820-154-3-2-2-3의 수량(數量) 증대(增大)를 가져왔으며, 이와같은 도복(倒伏)의 감소(減少)는 형태적(形態的)인 특징(特徵) 면(面)에서 생장조절제(生長調節劑) 처리(處理)로써 관(管)의 두께와 직경(直徑)과 유관속(有管束) 수(敎)를 증가(增加)시켰다. Cycocel(CCC)의 처리(處理)는 Hoe78784와 PP-333을 처리(處理)한 것 보다 유관속(有管束)의 수(數), 관(管)의 두께, 3, 4 번째 마디의 직경(直徑)이 낮게 나타났으며, 모든 처리구(處理區)에서 도복(倒伏)의 감소(減少) 영향(影響)이 전혀 나타나지는 않았다. 단간종(短稈種)(IR36)에서의 Hoe78784와 PP-333의 처리(處理)는 2, 3번째 절간(節幹)의 신장(伸長)이 현저하게 감소(減少)되었으며, 장간종(長稈種)에서는 4번째 절간(節稈)까지 검색(檢索)되었고 도복(倒伏)에 가장 크게 영향(影響)을 미치는 절간(節稈)은 세번째 및 네벤째 절간(節稈)인 것으로 나타났다. 생장조절제(生長調節劑) 처리구(處理區)에 있어서 식물체내(植物體內)의 영양관계(營養關係)는 질소함량(窒素含量)에 있어서 무처리구(無處理區)와 큰 차이(差異)는 없었으나 IR8에 있어서의 질소함량(窒素含量)은 높게 나타났으며 인산(燐酸)의 함량(含量)은 모든 품종(品種)에 있어서 뚜렷한 변화(變化)가 나타나지는 않았다. 또한, 칼륨의 함량(含量)도 처리구(處理區)와 무처리구(無處理區)간에 뚜렷한 차이(差異)를 보이지 않았지만, Hoe78784를 처리(處理)하였을 때에는 칼륨과 규산(硅酸)의 함량(含量)이 무처리구(無處理區) 보다는 높게 나타났다.

  • In this paper we provide sufficient conditions which ensure the strong consistency of $L_p$-norm estimation in nonlinear regression model when the probability distribution of the errors term is symmetric about zero. The least absolute deviation and least square estimation are discussed as special cases of the proposed estimation.

Simple Graphs for Complex Prediction Functions

  • By supervised learning with p predictors, we frequently obtain a prediction function of the form $y\;=\;f(x_1,...,x_p)$. When $p\;{\geq}\;3$, it is not easy to understand the inner structure of f, except for the case the function is formulated as additive. In this study, we propose to use p simple graphs for visual understanding of complex prediction functions produced by several supervised learning engines such as LOESS, neural networks, support vector machines and random forests.

  • We consider support vector machines(SVM) to predict Y with p numerical variables $X_1$, ${\ldots}$, $X_p$. This paper aims to build a biplot of p explanatory variables, in which the first dimension indicates the direction of SVM classification and/or regression fits. We use the geometric scheme of kernel principal component analysis adapted to map n observations on the two-dimensional projection plane of which one axis is determined by a SVM model a priori.
