가스절연송전선로의 서지특성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Analysis of Surge Characteristics on Gas Insulated Transmission Lines)

  • This paper describes surge characteristics on 345kV combined transmission system mixed overhead line and GIL(Gas Insulated Transmission Line). Then, it is compared with the results of the system mixed overhead line and XLPE power cables. Finally the lightning overvoltages are also discussed according to surge arrester installation in two kinds of combined transmission systems when the lighting strikes on the phase conductor.

화염노출에 의한 송전선로 인바 강심의 온도 및 인장하중 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Temperature and Tensile Load Analysis of Invar by Flame Exposure on Overhead Transmission Lines)

  • This paper describes the conductor temperature and tensile load analysis of invar by flame exposure on STACIR(Super Thermal-resistance Aluminium-alloy Conductors Reinforced) overhead transmission line based on real fault phenomena. Firstly, short-circuit fault by flame exposure is analysed by EMTP/ATP simulation, then the cutting causes of Al layer are also discussed. And then, the conductor temperature is calculated based on IEC 60949 according to 3 kinds of materials including invar, Al conductor and ACSR when same load current respectively flows in 3 kinds of material, they are compared each other. Finally, the tensile load tests are performed with various samples including new invar, used invar for a long time and invar exposed flame.

실증시험선로를 이용한 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 이온류 특성 평가 (Ion Effects of HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole Overhead Transmission Line with Metallic Return Conductor Using Full-scale Test Line)

  • 국내에 향후 건설 예정인 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 최적선로 형상을 설계하고 송전선로에서 발생되는 전기환경장해를 검증하기 위해 실증시험장을 구축하여 1년간 전기환경장해 평가시험을 수행하였다. 또한, HVDC Double Bipole 실선로에서 인체의 지표면 전계인지도 평가시험을 통해 HVDC 실규모 실증선로 직하에서 인체가 직류 전계를 감지하는 임계값을 조사하여 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 직류전계 설계기준안의 타당성을 검증하였다. HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 시험선로의 극형상은 전기환경장해와 운영관점에서 동일한 극성을 대각으로 배치하였으며, 국내 가공송전선로의 전기환경장해의 사회적인 수용성을 고려하여 선로에서 코로나방전이 거의 발생되지 않도록 소도체 방식은 6 도체를 선정하였다. 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로 방식인 Cardinal×6B를 적용한 실증시험결과, 선로 도체에서 코로나 방전이 거의 발생되지 않았으며, 따라서 지표면 전계와 이온전류밀도는 모두 국내 가공송전선로 설계 기준값을 만족하였다. 또한 선로직하에서 피조사자들에 대한 전계 인지도 평가결과, 피조사자들의 70%는 23 kV/m에 노출되어도 직류전계를 인지하지 못하는 결과를 나타냈다.

  • The unbalance current on the bundled conductors of the UHV overhead transmission line is one of the factors affected on power transmission system. It is varied by distance between of bundled conductors and of phase to phase, phase arrangement. In this paper, we calculated unbalance current on the bundled conductors by a variety of line arrangements and also calculated magnetic field at the circumference of the line fed with this unbalance current.

  • Small ions generated at conductor corona sources remain in the atmosphere until they recombine with ions of opposite polarity, attach to aerosols, or make contact with an object. Ion current density is major factor to design conductor configuration of DC overhead transmission line. Several techniques have been used to measure the ion current of HVDC overhead transmission line. In this study, the ion current density was measured by a plate electrode made of a metal flat board at DC corona cage. The sensitivity of the plate electrode is $0.156uA/m^2/V$. To obtain an useful database on corona discharge, it is necessary to do corona test on several kinds of conductor bundles. Therefore, a number of experiments were conducted on several kinds of conductor bundles. To reliably analyze ion effects, corona cage test data were obtained over a long period of time under various weather conditions and expressed as a statistical distribution. Ion current density distribution in foul weather shows a significant increase in levels over the corresponding fair weather. Based on this results, we evaluated the environmental characteristic caused by ion flow of three candidated conductor bundles.

  • Corona interferences, such as radio noise, audible noise and television noise, need to be taken into account in the design of HVDC transmission line conductor configuration. Therefore the line designer requires data from which to estimate the corona performance of any set of conductors. To get a sufficiently complete set of design data, it is necessary to examine the corona test of a large number of conductor geometries. This paper presents the results of corona cage test among three types of candidate conductors. It is quite clear from test results that the conductor geometries play an important role in establishing the magnitude of corona noise. Corona noise data from corona cage test are expressed as a statistical distribution of results obtained over long periods of time and various weather conditions. Therefore we can determine an environmentally-friendly conductor bundle for HVDC overhead transmission line. Based on this finding results, various simulations about HVDC line configurations, such as pole space and pole height, will be conducted. And then finally an optimal configuration for HVDC transmission line will be decided.

  • 345kV Incheon Thermal Power Plant Transmission Line Collapse Analysis and Countermeasures. The Typhoon Galmaegi which had been formed in July 15, 2008 diminished into a tropical cyclone and cooled the air above the West Sea. The cooled air colliding with the warm inland air caused a strong whirlwind at some places in the west seaside; the whirlwind battered the 345kV Incheon Thermal Power Plant Transmission Line to be collapsed. The resistance of transmission towers against wind pressure, one of the key elements in transmission line engineering, is designed to endure the pressure corresponding to the maximum instantaneous wind speed. Before the above accident happened, no transmission line has ever been collapsed by a whirlwind. So this paper is aimed to analyze causes that collapsed 345kV Incheon Thermal Power Plant transmission line and to introduce countermeasures.

송전선로의 점퍼선 안전성 향상을 위한 횡진각 계산에 관한 연구 (A Study for Computation of Swaying Angle for Jumper Safety Improvement in the Overhead Line)

  • As jumpers for overhead transmission lines increase In size, it Is necessary to take into the characteristics of jumper swaying space in order to determine jumper reinforcements adequately. From the theory of a structure made of beams, formulas for the sideway swaying of overhead transmission lines due to wind are modeled. And also natural frequency of the vibrated jumper is estimated to check the system resonance. The theoretical results can be led good suggestions to improve the economy and reliability of jumper structure.

  • 고가공도체의 최대허용전류인 열용량은 일반적으로 IEEE P738 기준에서 주어진 것과 같은 열평형 방정식을 기초로 계산된다. 이 정격은 기온, 풍속, 풍향 및 태양열과 같은 기상조건의 함수로 주어진다. 이러한 기상 파라미터들 중에 풍속은 그 값이 아주 작게 나타날 때 송전용량 결정에 강한 영향을 준다. 따라서 송전용량 모니터시스템에서 사용되는 풍속계 대부분은 낮은 감도와 실속 특성을 가지므로 부정확한 결과가 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 풍속계를 사용하지 않고 가공송전선의 동적송전용량을 결정하기 위한 새로운 방법을 도입한다. 풍속을 2개의 간접도체의 온도로 추정하고 실험을 통하여 추정풍속으로 구한 동적송전용량이 기상모델로 구한 결과와 매우 근접함을 밝혔다.

  • Measurements of wind noise, generated by High-voltage overhead transmission lines placed in a uniform flow are carried out in the Anechoic windtunnel. High-voltage overhead transmission lines generates audible wind noise, which cause a serious environment problem. Accordingly, wind noise has become one of major concerns for design engineers and operations personnel. In the present research, tests were mainly performed with various configuration of transmission line with spiral wires. Remarkable noise reduction was observed for some of the spiral transmission lines, compared with the noise generated without the spiral wire.
