Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program on pain, flexibility, grip strength and stress in patient with breast cancer following surgery. Method: Study was designed as a non-synchronized research method with a nonequivalent control group. Data collection was performed from September 2007 to January 1, 2008. Participants were 34 patients (experimental group: 19, control group: 15) undergoing surgery for breast cancer in a hospital in D city. Women in the experimental group were participated in the cancer-overcome BeHaS (Be Happy and Strong) exercise program for 60 minutes per session once a week for 8 weeks and it was recommended that they do the exercises once more each week at home. The control group received one education session on breast cancer management. Results: There were no significant differences between the two groups for pain, flexibility or grip strength. But stress in experimental group was significantly decreased compared to that of the control group. Conclusion: This result suggests that cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program is helpful to reduce stress in patients after breast cancer surgery. Further research is needed for multi-dimensional evaluation on psycho-social effects of cancer-overcome BeHaS exercise program.

This study recognized public social welfare delivery system will be more important in the future according to the developing trend of social welfare that and intended to find overcome factors by analyzing actual status of operating organization. The study results showed that characteristics of delivery system, ineffectiveness of task, delivery system and inconcinnity of personnel are the overcome factors of social welfare. Consequently, this study revealed that public social welfare delivery system will go on smoothly at last when the problems of the overcome factors get solved.

5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) remains to be an important chemotherapeutic drug for treating several cancers when targeted therapy is unavailable. Chemoresistance limits the clinical utility of 5-FU, and new strategies are required to overcome the resistance. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and antioxidants are balanced differently in both normal and cancer cells. Modulating ROS can be one method of overcoming 5-FU resistance. This review summarizes selected compounds and endogenous cellular targets modulating ROS generation to overcome 5-FU resistance.

In order to overcome the limitation based on different avatar models, in this paper, we propose gesture communications between different avatar models using FBML (Facial Body Markup Language). The experimental results demonstrate a possibility that the proposed method could be used as an efficient means to overcome the problem.

The purpose of this study is to research new paradigms of environmental ethics and environmental ethics education to overcome ecological crisis and to develop an alternative model of systematic environmental ethics education for establishing eco-centred life values. According to deep ecologists, they assert the necessity of basic reorientation of crucial components of present political, economic and social orders to overcome ecological crisis today. This means the movement from the mechanistic worldview to the ecological worldview and the shift from Dominant Social Paradigm(DSP) to New Ecological Paradigm(NEP). Environmental ethics education should be 'eco-centred environmental ethics education'which makes some contribution to overcome ecological crisis and to create new alternatives. Also it should be not a simple behavior change but 'eco-centred environmental ethics education', what is called, as 'ecological literacy education'which changes the views of values, thoughts and attitudes etc. In this, as a new social curriculum, 'ecological literacy education'means to cultivate the ability which can recognize environmental problems correctly and to overcome ecological crisis wisely we face with today. To perform this ecological environmental ethics education, we suggested 'eco-centred life values', we place a criterion of moral value judgment according to 'ecological conscience'on 'life', and we presented 'an alternative model of environmental ethics education' giving consideration to human being, nature and environment at the same time.

The ability to overcome obstacles is necessary for field robots for various applications including the ability to climb stairs. While much research has been performed focusing on overcoming obstacles, the resulting robots do not have sufficient ability to overcome obstacles such as stairs. In this research, the purpose is to overcome relatively large obstacles by flipping locomotion through the modification of the stair climbing robotic platform of the previous research. We propose two scenarios to overcome large obstacles: a rear wheel driving system and an elevation system using a ball screw. The research is performed based on static analyses on obstacle-climbing. As the simulation results indicate, we determined the optimal posture of the robot for climbing obstacles for rear wheel driving. Also, an elevation system is analyzed for obstacle climbing. Between the two scenarios an elevation system is determined to reduce the operating torque of the actuator, and the prototype was recently assembled. The climbing ability of the robotic platform is verified. We expect the application area for this robotic platform will be in accident areas of nuclear power plants.

Super-realistic content technology has recently attracted attention as a core of the "new normal" that can overcome the spatial constraints caused by pandemics. It is moreover the core that allows users in remote locations to meet and engage in various social, cultural, and economic activities based on a network. Content technology is rapidly spreading beyond the existing entertainment area to various industries as an innovative tool that can be used to overcome space-time constraints and improve the productivity of industrial sites, because reality and virtual reality are now super-connected with ultra-low latency. However, existing services such as teleconferencing and tele-collaboration do not provide a level of realism that replaces face-to-face services, and various technical requirements have been proposed to overcome this. The trends in core technologies such as XR twins, hyper-realistic reproduction, sensory interaction, and emotional recognition technology, which are necessary for interactive realistic content that leads to feelings, from reproduction to experience and emotion, are explained. In this article, our aim is to present the future of realistic content that enables human care and can even overcome psychological difficulties such as the "Corona blues".

Purpose: Various intervention strategies are needed to reduce the suicide rate among late adolescents. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the factors that can help overcome suicidal tendencies in late adolescents from the perspective of case managers. Methods: This qualitative study explored the reinforcing factors that can help overcome suicidal behaviors in late adolescents, by conducting focus group interviews with case managers from the local community. Interviews with 10 case managers were recorded and transcribed, and the data were analyzed using the content analysis method. Results: The main theme of this study was "a step in a new direction". Three categories were derived: "inner changes", "another possibility opened up by the interest of significant others", and "connecting with community resources to help overcome". Each category had subcategories that influenced the intention and course of action of behaviors to overcome the suicide crises. Conclusion: Our findings, from the exploration of the experiences of case managers, provide an in-depth understanding of the reinforcing factors for overcoming suicide among late adolescents. They provide useful preliminary data for the development of effective suicide prevention programs for the adolescents.

Many companies are now studying these generational conflict issues and seeking countermeasures. As seen in the recent performance-based pay issue, the MZ generation is boldly showing their intention unlike the previous generation. This study focuses on LX Hausys' education program to overcome the generation gap. As a representative field education program of LXHausys, it is a longevity education program that was developed and operated at the end of 14 years and has been in operation so far. By acknowledging and understanding the generation gap through this educational program, it was possible to see that they could sympathize and accept each other one step further, and that trust in each other was formed on the basis of it. The success factors of the generation empathy program were identified as the willingness to share perceptions between labor and management, participatory education programs, active participation of members, and overcoming generation empathy. Through such education, the organization should continuously raise the issue of generational empathy and allow members to recognize it as an object to overcome. To this end, efforts should be made to overcome generational differences.
