This paper describes a fuzzy control method to control the output voltage of the three-phase Z-source PWM rectifier. A fuzzy control system is a control system based on fuzzy logic, and the fuzzy controller uses a single input fuzzy theory with its fuzzification. Analytical structure of the simplest fuzzy controller is derived through the triangular membership functions with its fuzzification. By setting the membership functions of the fuzzy rules, fuzzy control is achieved. The PI portion of the output DC voltage controller is controlled by fuzzy method. To confirm the validity of the proposed method, the simulation and experiment were performed, The simulation is performed with PSIM and MATLAB/SIMULINK. For the experiment, we used a DSP(TMS320F28335) controller to compute the reference value and generate the PWM pulses. For the transient state performance of the output DC voltage control of Z-source PWM rectifier, the PI controller and fuzzy controller were compared, also the conventional PWM rectifier and Z-source PWM rectifier were compared. From the results, the Z-source rectifier could allow to buck or boost of the output DC voltage. Through the analysis of the transient state, we could observe that the fuzzy controller has better performance than the conventional PI controller.
This paper proposes an input-series-output-parallel connected ZVS full bridge converter with interleaved control for photovoltaic power conditioning systems (PV PCS). The input-series connection enables a fully modular power-system architecture, where low voltage and standard power modules can be connected in any combination at the input and/or at the output, to realize any given specifications. Further, the input-series connection enables the use of low-voltage MOSFETs that are optimized for a very low RDSON, thus, resulting in lower conduction losses. The system costs decrease due to the reduced current, and the volumes of the output filters due to the interleaving technique. A topology for a photovoltaic (PV) dc/dc converter that can dramatically reduce the power rating and increase the efficiency of a PV system by analyzing the PV module characteristics is proposed. The control scheme, consisting of an output voltage loop, a current loop and input voltage balancing loops, is proposed to achieve input voltage sharing and output current sharing. The total PV system is implemented for a 10-kW PV power conditioning system (PCS). This system has a dc/dc converter with a 3.6-kW power rating. It is only one-third of the total PV PCS power. A 3.6-kW prototype PV dc/dc converter is introduced to experimentally verify the proposed topology. In addition, experimental results show that the proposed topology exhibits good performance.

This paper proposes a nonisolated, bidirectional, soft-switching DC - DC converter with PWM plus phase shift (PPS) control. The proposed converter has an input-parallel/output-series configuration and can achieve the interleaving effect and high voltage gains, resulting in decreased voltage ratings in all related devices. The proposed converter can operate under zero-voltage switching (ZVS) conditions for all switches in continuous conduction mode. The power flow of the proposed converter can be controlled by changing the phase shift angle, and the duty is controlled to balance the voltage of four high voltage side capacitors. The PPS control device of the proposed converter is simple in structure and presents symmetrical switching patterns under a bidirectional power flow. The PPS control also ensures ZVS during charging and discharging at all loads and equalizes the voltage ratings of the output capacitors and switches. To verify the validity of the proposed converter, an experimental investigation of a 2 kW prototype is performed in both charging and discharging modes under different load conditions and a bidirectional power flow.

This study proposes a model-based predictive control for interleaved multi-phase DC/DC converters. The power values necessary to adjust the output voltage in the succeeding are predicted using a converter model. The output power is controlled by selecting the optimal duty cycle. The proposed method does not require controller loops and modulators for converter switching. This method can control the converter by calculating the optimal duty cycle, which minimizes the error between the reference and actual output voltage. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulations and experiments.
A novel half load-cycle worked dual input single output (DISO) DC/AC inverter is presented. The basic circuit consists of a dual buck regulator, which works in continuous current mode. The working principle of DISO DC/AC inverter has been used. The control method applied for half load-cycle worked DISO DC/AC inverter has been studied. The control effects of the open-loop proportional control and closed-loop proportional-integral control are compared by using PSIM software. The parameters are adopted in the realistic simulation and experiment test. Moreover, the waveforms, such as voltage of modulation reference signal and output voltage, were given. The simulation and experiment results proved that the half load-cycle worked DISO DC/AC inverter could achieve good performance, gain a line frequency of 50 Hz, and verify the correctness of theoretical analysis.
New output voltage control technique based on the simple feedback linearization is proposed. The system states are first divided into fast states and slow states. Then, the control stage is composed of the fast inner current control loop and the slow outer voltage control loop. From the inner loop, the average control is derived by the sliding mode concept and it is inserted into the dynamic equations of the slow states in the outer loop. Applying the feedback linearization technique to the obtained large-signal models of the PWM dc-dc converters, linearized large-signal models are obtained for the slow states. With this technique, the output voltage controller of the PWM dc-dc converters can be designed easily in the global state space and its control performance can also be much improved.

This article deals with the sensor-less control of a DC Motor via a SEPIC Converter-Full Bridge combination powered through solar panels. We simultaneously regulate, both, the output voltage of the SEPIC-converter to a value larger than the solar panel output voltage, and the shaft angular velocity, in any of the turning senses, so that it tracks a pre-specified constant reference. The main result of our proposed control scheme is an efficient linear controller obtained via Lyapunov. This controller is based on measurements of the converter currents and voltages, and the DC motor armature current. The control law is derived using an exact stabilization error dynamics model, from which a static linear passive feedback control law is derived. All values of the constant references are parameterized in terms of the equilibrium point of the multivariable system: the SEPIC converter desired output voltage, the solar panel output voltage at its Maximun Power Point (MPP), and the DC motor desired constant angular velocity. The switched control realization of the designed average continuous feedback control law is accomplished by means of a, discrete-valued, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Experimental results are presented demonstrating the viability of our proposal.

This study proposes a feedforward compensation control method to reduce 120 Hz output voltage ripple in a single-phase AC/DC rectifier system composed of PFC and LLC resonant converters. The proposed method compensates for the voltage ripple of the DC-link by using the AC input and DC output power difference, and then reduces the final output voltage ripple component of 120 Hz through feedforward compensation based on the linearized frequency gain curve of the LLC resonant converter. Through simulation and experimental results, the validity of the ripple reduction performance was verified by comparing the conventional PI controller and the proposed feedforward compensation method.
The paper proposes a close loop control algorithm for Z-source inverter. The algorithm is realized by PWM duty ratio control in order to improve the output voltage to it's desired level. The controller consist of the output voltage PID controller and DC input voltage P controller. Using the DQ coordinate transformation simplify the controller design. The PSIM simulation results verify the validity by means of comparing the system with or without compensation and estimating if the system has output consistency function when ZSI's load and input voltage value changing.

In this paper, Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy integral control is investigated to regulate the output voltage of an asymmetric half-bridge (AHB) DC/DC converter; First, we model the dynamic characteristics of the AHB DC/DC converter with state-space averaging method and small perturbation at an operating point. After introducing an additional integral state of the output regulation error, we obtain the $5^{th}$-order TS fuzzy model of the AHB DC/DC converter. Second, the concept of the parallel distributed compensation is applied to design the fuzzy integral controller, in which the state feedback gains are obtained by solving the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, simulation results are presented to show the performance of the considered design method as the output voltage regulator and compared to the results for which the conventional loop gain method is used.
