Behavior of UHPC-RW-RC wall panel under various temperature and humidity conditions

  • Mechanical and thermal properties of composite sandwich wall panels are affected by changes in their external environment. Humidity and temperature changes induce stress on wall panels and their core connectors. Under the action of ambient temperature, temperature on the outer layer of the wall panel changes greatly, while that on the inner layer only changes slightly. As a result, stress concentration exists at the intersection of the connector and the wall blade. In this paper, temperature field and stress field distribution of UHPC-RW-RC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete - Rock Wool - Reinforced Concrete) wall panel under high temperature-sprinkling and heating-freezing conditions were investigated by using the general finite element software ABAQUS. Additionally, design of the connection between the wall panel and the main structure is proposed. Findings may serve as a scientific reference for design of high performance composite sandwich wall panels.

이중 윅 타입 히트파이프를 이용한 바닥복사패널의 난방특성 연구 (A Study on the Heating Characteristics of Radiant Floor Panel Using Heat Pipes with the Double Wick)

  • Most of the domestic residential buildings have used the traditional radiant heating system, circulating hot water through the cross-linked polyethylene(PE-X) pipe buried in the floor panel of the heating space. New type of the heating panel was recently developed using heat pipes with double wicks. Some experiments were carried out in this study to verify the thermal characteristics of this heating system at the unit heating space which surrounded by outer space whose temperature of air be maintained scheduled value with time. Through the various experiments with several parameters, such as flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures of hot water and the heating duration and so on, we found that the floor heating system with heat pipes was able to reduce the pumping power for hot water circulation by 4~31% compared with the conventional panel heating system using PE-X pipe. These results could be used for optimal design and efficient operation of the heating system as well as improvement of thermal comfort.

  • The inner and outer car panels for bonnet, door, and trunk lid are assembled by hemming rather than welding. To achieve successful fabrication of these panels, the complicated timing chart of hemming units for pre-and main hemming stages should be made to optimal one. In this study, a design system for automatic timing chart generation is developed. Using AutoCAD VBA and EXCEL data chart, hemming die design parameters and guidelines were put into the program to give hemming unit drawings and consequent timing charts. Then the prepared timing charts were checked and modified. The effectiveness of the system is verified by applying it successfully to hemming unit design for bonnet panel joining.

  • In these days, demand of a LCD monitor is remarkably increasing with development of the LCD technology. However, there are thermal problems for improvement of efficiency for the LCD monitor. Thus, this research analyzed thermal problems such as convection and conduction heat transfer characteristics in the LCD monitor using an infrared (IR) camera. Also, the results of the outer side of the front LCD panel using the IR camera have been compared with the results of the inner side of the front panel using T-type thermocouples. The equations have been derived for the temperature distribution of the inner side of the front LCD panel by a multiple regression method including variables for ambient temperature, humidity and temperature differences between the front and back panels of the LCD monitor.

  • 본 논문에서는 오차성분을 가지는 패널회귀모형에서 모형의 선형성을 검정 할 수 있는 검 정통계량을 제시하고, 유도한 검정통계량의 계산을 위하여 인공회귀방법을 이용하려한다. 모의실험 결과, Double-Length Artificial Resression(DLR)을 이용한 LM 검정통계량은 명목유의 수준을 잘 유지하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 검정력에 있어서도 기존의 검정에 비하여 높게 나타났다.

  • Since most of main noise sources of the railroad vehicle are transmitted to the passenger's ear through the vibration of the panel, the insulation performance of the panels should be high enough to protect the passengers from the noisy environment. Specifically, the composite materials which are generally used for reducing the weight of the vehicle compartment have the low insulation performance, noise control actions should be taken appropriately by considering the insulation performance of the panels. In this study, the insulation performances of the inner/outer panels were evaluated and the contribution of the aluminum door was estimated compared to the composite panels. The results can furnish an indepth understanding of the insulation characteristics of the panel of railroad vehicle.

자동차 외판 특징선의 시각적 분석을 위한 시편 제작방법 (Methods of Making Samples for a Visual Experiment with Feature Lines of Outer Automotive Panels)

  • A feature line is a visually noticeable creased line on outer automotive panels. Feature lines play an important role in creating a good impression of a car. Even though the manufacturing quality of feature lines is important, it is difficult to achieve the designed shape owing to the springback of sheet metal. The current study presents five methods of making samples that will be used in a visual experiment to discover a quality control quantitative manufacturing allowance for feature lines. Measurement and inspection methods for the samples are also presented. The results show that plunge machining is the most accurate way to make the desired shape, and that wrapping the machined surface with sheet film is an appropriate way to emulate the roughness and visual texture of the painted outer panels of a car.

멤브레인식 LNG 저장탱크용 PC 외부탱크의 강도안전성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Strength Safety of the Prestressed Concrete Outer Tank for a Membrane LNG Storage Tank)

  • 본 논문은 특별한 주름을 갖는 멤브레인 패널로 제작한 LNG 저장탱크용 예응력 콘크리트(PC) 외부탱크에 대한 강도안전성 연구를 수행하였다. 강도안전성을 유한요소법으로 해석하기 위해 멤브레인 패널로 제작한 내부탱크가 파손되면서 저장된 LNG가 PC 외부탱크로 누설되었다고 가정한다. 본 연구는 누설 LNG에 의해 발생하는 유체정압과 자중량, 온도차 하중, PC 구조물의 자중량, 증발가스 압력에 의해 형성되는 5가지의 복합하중에 대해 외부탱크에 작용하는 응력과 변형거동을 해석하였다. FEM 해석결과에 의하면, 멤브레인으로 제작된 내부탱크로부터 LNG가 누설되어도 200,000$m^3$의 저장용량을 갖는 LNG 외부탱크(PC 콘크리트 구조물)는 충분한 강도안전성을 갖지만, 누설 LNG에 의한 초저온 하중이 더욱 증가하게 되면 PC 외부탱크 구조물의 강도안전성은 계속 떨어지고, 궁극적으로 외부탱크의 붕괴로 발전할 수 있다는 점에 주의해야 한다.

기관패널 표집설계를 통한 훈련 교·강사 실태조사 방안 연구 (A Study on the Survey of Vocational Training Teachers and Instructors through Institutional Panel Sampling Design)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 훈련 교·강사를 모집단으로 데이터 기반 의사결정을 위한 토대를 마련하고자 직업훈련기관 수준에서의 패널조사 표집설계 방안을 제시하여 지속적이고 체계적인 훈련 교·강사 실태조사의 기초를 제공하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 체계적인 조사 설계를 위한 요소인 목표 모집단과 표본추출틀을 제안하였으며, 전문가 자문과 실증 자료 분석을 토대로 데이터의 대표성, 자료 수집의 효율성 및 지속가능성 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 표본추출단위, 외층변인과 내층변인을 고려한 표본추출방법 등을 제시하였다. 연구 결과 패널의 단위를 직업훈련기관으로 하여 패널로 선정된 기관과 그 기관에 소속된 훈련 교·강사가 설문조사에 참여할 수 있도록 2단계 층화 비례 표집 방안을 마련하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 패널조사 표본 설계 방안에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
