간단한 방법에 의한 철근콘크리트 슬래브 교량의 해석 (Simple Method of Analysis for Reinforced Concrete Slab Bridges)

  • 본 논문에서는 단순지지된 철근콘크리트 슬래브 교량을 특별직교이방성 복합적층판 이론으로 해석하였다. 이 방법은 실무에 있는 엔지니어들에게는 너무나 어려운 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 교량 상판을 이미 저자에 의해 발표된 단위 폭을 가진 보 이론을 사용하여 해석하였다. 판에 대한 정확한 해로부터 얻은 수정계수를 사용하면 보 이론으로도 쉽게 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과로 머지않은 장래에 학부정도의 수준인 엔지니어들에게도 철근콘크리트 슬래브 교량을 복합적층판 이론으로 해석할 수 있으리라 기대된다.

사다리꼴 주름평판의 음향방사효율 해석 (Prediction of acoustic radiation efficiency for trapezoidal corrugated plates)

  • 사다리꼴 주름평판은 복잡한 주름 모델링으로 인해 흔히 직교이방성평판으로 단순화하여 해석한다. 그러나 고주파수 대역에서는 주름의 국부 진동으로 인해 직교이방성평판 모델이 유효하지 못하다. 본 연구에서는 파수영역수치해석기법을 이용하여 사다리꼴 주름평판의 고주파수 대역 진동 및 소음 특성을 규명하고, 이를 토대로 주름평판의 주파수 대역별 진동 및 소음 특성을 반영한 근사계산 방법을 제안한다. 근사계산에서는 전역 및 국부 진동을 반영할 수 있도록 주름평판을 네 개의 평판모델로 구성하였으며, 근사계산을 통해 구한 방사효율을 수치해석 결과와 비교함으로써 방법의 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

보강판(補剛板)의 접수진동(接水振動) (Flexural Vibration of Stiffened Plates in Contact with Water)

  • For vibration analysis of stiffened plates the orthotropic plate analogy is commonly accepted. As to stiffened plates in contact with water, however, there is still much uncertainty in estimation of the added mass because of the lack of direct methods. The authors, considering that for added mass of plates there are many reliable data derived theoretically or experimentally available, suggest a method to estimate the added mass of a stiffened plate by combining the mass increase factor, $\beta$, of an equivalent orthotropic plate and the correction factor, $\kappa$, for the effects of stiffeners. The latter is to be derived from systematic experimental investigations. Then, the natural frequency in water, f', can be calculated from that in air, f, by the equation $f'=f/\sqrt{1+\kappa\beta}$. To investigate practical applicability of this method, a systematic experiment was carried out with five uniaxially stiffened plates. Each of them had a plate of same size, $600mm{\times}600mm{\times}3.2mm$, but stiffeners of different size in the web-depth, 41.6mm, 51.2mm or 66.8mm and of different spacing 75mm, 100mm, or 150mm. Natural frequencies were measured under simply supported-edge conditions in both air and water, and corresponding $\kappa$ values derived. In spite of wide variations of web-depth and spcae of stiffeners, the experimental results show that the diversity of $\kappa$ values is not remarkable; mean values of $\kappa$ are 1.31 with standard deviation of 0.025 for the first modes and 1.27 with that 0.077 for the second modes. Hence, the authors concluded that the above $\kappa$ values can be used generally for the cases of uniaxially stiffened plates both sides of which contact with water, and that $\kappa$ values of general use for the cases of cross-stiffened plates may also be obtainable from similar experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 2차원 콘크리트 슬래브 철도교량을 특별직교이방성 복합적층판 이론으로 해석하였다. 슬래브의 해석에 있어 단면의 기하학적, 물리적 특성이 중립면에서 휨-연계강성 $B_{ij}$ = 0 이고, $D_{16}=D_{26}=0$임을 고려하였다. 교량상판은 특별직교이방성 판으로 거동한다. 이러한 경계조건을 갖는 단면 혹은 불규칙한 단면을 갖는 시스템은 해석적 해를 구하기가 매우 어렵다. 이러한 문제에 대한 해석을 위해서 유한차분법이 이용되었다. 본 논문에서는 보 이론과 유한차분법이 해석을 위해 사용되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 포스트텐션된 철근콘크리트 슬래브를 특별직교이방성 복합적층판 이론으로 해석하였다. 슬래브의 해석에 있어 단면의 기하학적, 물리적 특성이 중립면에서 휨-연계강성 $B_{ij}=0$ 이고, $D_{16}=D_{26}=0$ 임을 고려하였다. 철근콘크리트 슬래브는 특별직교이방성판으로 거동한다. 이러한 경계조건을 갖는 단면 혹은 불규칙한 단면을 갖는 시스템은 해석적 해를 구하기가 매우 어렵다. 이러한 문제에 대한 해석을 위해서 유한차분법이 이용되었다. 본 논문에서는 유한차분법과 보 이론을 해석을 위해 사용되었다. 그 결과 보 이론에 의한 해석 값이 판 이론의 값에 근접함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Composite materials also known as fiber reinforced plastics have been developed and used in many engineering applications due to their outstanding mechanical properties. Laminated plates as structural components that are made of in composite material are widely used. Therefore, nonlinear response of laminated composite plates modeled with finite elements and excited by stochastic loading is studied. The classical laminated plate theory is used to account for the variation of strains through the thickness for modeling laminated thin plates. Approximate nonlinear random vibration analysis is performed using the method of equivalent linearization to account for material non-linearity.

  • In this paper, the effects of temperature change on the impact of CFRP laminates was experimentally studied. Composite laminates used for this experiment are CFRP orthotropic laminated plates, which have two-interfaces$[0_6^{\circ}/90_7^{\circ}]_s$ and four-interfaces$[0_3^{\circ}/90_6^{\circ}/0_3^{\circ}]_s$. The interrelations between the impact energy vs. delamination area, the impact energy vs. residual bending strength, and the interlayer delamination area vs. the decrease of the residual flexural strength of carbon fiber epoxy composite laminates subjected to FOD(Foreign Object Damage) under high temperatures were experimentally observed.

철도차량용 알루미늄 압출재의 투과손실 (Sound Transmission Loss of Aluminium Extruded panels for Railway vehicles)

  • Sound transmission characteristics are investigated on the aluminium extruded panels used for railway vehicles. An equivalent orthotropic plate model and mass law are applied to predict the sound transmission loss. An extruded panel specimen used in the floor of railway vehicles is manufactured and is tested to measure sound transmission loss by two reverberant chamber method. Predicted transmission loss I compared with measured values and the effect of local resonance on the transmission characteristics is identified. The results are applied to design the extruded panel having better sound insulation performance.

Orthotropic sandwich plates with interlayer slip and under edgewise loads

  • An elasticity solution for sandwich plates assembled with non-rigid bonding and subjected to edgewise loads is presented. The solution satisfies the equilibrium equations of the face and core elements, the compatibility equations of stresses and strains at the interfaces, and the boundary conditions. To investigate the effects of bonding stiffnesses on the responses of sandwich plates, numerical evaluations are conducted. The results obtained have shown that the bonding stiffness, up to a certain level, has a strong effect on the plate mechanical response. Beyond this level, the usual assumption of perfect bonding used in classical theories is quite acceptable. An answer to what constitutes perfect bonding is found in terms of the ratio of the core stiffness to the bonding stiffness.

해상 운송을 위한 보일러 모듈의 구조 해석 (Structural Analysis of Boiler Module for Sea-Transportation)

  • Finite element analysis was carried out to investigate the integrity and reliability of boiler module during sea transportation. The boiler module was supported by steel structure to relieve the instantaneous shock from oceanic wave and its primary parts were strengthened with several reinforcements. Finned tube walls which were used in the furnace wall were assumed as orthotropic plates having equivalent material properties. The bank tubes were also equivalently modeled in accordance with ASME B31.1 for the convenience of finite element modeling. The calculation results were compared with the yield stress of the material. In particular, the bank tube stress, which was evaluated by converting the calculated stresses in equivalent tubes into those in original tubes by using the ratio of diameter, was also examined with yield stress.
