Study on the Effect of Organizational Culture of Child Care Facilities on Child Care with Respect for Young Children's Rights (보육시설의 조직문화가 영유아권리존중 보육에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • It is becoming common that the lack of child care due to changes in social structure and family function should be serviced at society and at the national level. Interest in child care services in child care facilities also increased. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of organizational culture on child care respect for young children's rights that is needed to improve the quality of child care services. The questionnaire was administered to 340 day care teachers working in day care facilities and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 statistical program. An analysis of the impact of organizational culture on child care among infants and toddlers showed that development culture, rational culture, collective culture, and hierarchical culture, which are sub-factors of organizational culture, have statistically significant on day -to-day respect, and child- first interests. The degree of influence was shown in the order of development culture, hierarchical culture, and rational culture. In particular, the influence of group culture is very low, which has been proven to differ depending on the type of organizational culture. These results show that the organizational culture of child care facilities affects child care respect for young children's rights. In the end, we suggested the theoretical and practical implications of this study, presented limitations and future research directions.

The Effect of Perceived Flexible Culture of adhocracy-clan on the Change Oriented OCB through Meditator of Positive Psychological Capital (혁신-관계의 유연문화 지각이 긍정심리자본의 매개로 변화지향 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Currently, companies are focusing on how they make their members have change-oriented organizational citizen behavior in the era of fierce competition due to the 4th industrial revolution. Therefore, this study verified how the flexible culture of adhocracy-clan plays a role in positive psychological capital and change-oriented organizational citizen behavior. A survey was conducted for employees in companies located in Daejeon-si, Sejong-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do, and 394 valid questionnaires were used for analysis. The concrete analysis results are obtained from the study as follows. First, among the flexible cultures of adhocracy-clan, the innovation culture was found to have a significant effect on change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior while relationship culture was found to not directly affect change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. Second, the flexible cultures of adhocracy-clan, the innovation culture was found to have a significant effect on the positive psychological capital. Third, the positive psychological capital was found to have a significant effect on the change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, the positive psychological capital was found to play a mediating role in the relation between the recognition of flexible cultures of adhocracy-clan and the change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, it can be said to find out the fact that the change-oriented organizational citizen behavior can appear under the fierce competition as nowadays only when the organization should establish the organization culture of innovation-relation or the members are in the positive psychological state. We expect that the future study on the type of subculture and new organizational citizen behavior will be made in the manner of classifying the unit of organizational culture into a headquarter or team for measurement.

The effects of emotional labor and nursing organizational culture on the empowerment among psychological nurses (정신간호사의 감정노동과 간호조직문화가 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to the effects of emotional labor and nursing organizational culture on the empowerment among psychological nurses. The subjects of this study were the psychological nurses working at 3 mental hospitals in C city. The self-reported questionnaires were administered to 162 psychological nurses and data were analyzed with SPSS 19.0. The result was following: There was a significant relationship between empowerment and nursing organizational culture(r = .38, p = .001). Nursing organizational culture(${\beta}=0.32$, p < .001), age(${\beta}=0.21$, p < .05), education level (${\beta}=0.94$, p < .05) and type of duty(${\beta}=2.11$, p < .05) had an influence on empowerment. The explanation power was shown to be 23.1%. The findings suggested that the empowerment intervention program should be developed in order to improve psychological support, manage nursing organizational culture among psychological nurses.

  • This study try to analyze the relationship between the corporate culture type and performance about convergence corporate. In addition, we developed a model that fix this research to analyze the business culture and firms type in order to perform this study overall. In the daily operations of an organization's culture can be a source of corporate competitiveness, it may be classified as an important factor in the performance of the organization to promote. In other words, the organizational culture as well as be able to describe an individual's attitudes and behavior, microscopic, macroscopic analysis of organizational behavior can serve to connect conceptually each others and through this process can be seen as contributing to the achievement creation. Therefore, analyzed the influence of the relationship between corporate culture and performance form the basis of this study and research model was validated. Corporate culture in the form of the convergency enterprise found out the strong relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the research result. Finally, this research results are expected to be a useful guide as a basis for the creation and management of companies with a corporate culture in the near future convergence corporation.

Nurses' Perceived Organizational Culture, Verbal Abuse and Job Stress (간호사가 인지하는 조직문화 유형과 언어폭력, 직무스트레스)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigates the relationship among nurses' organizational culture, verbal abuse by doctor and nurse, job stress. A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 235 nurses of 4 hospitals. Collected data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation, t-test, correlation analysis, stepwise multiple regression. This study reported the culture is different depending on the hospitals. And relation-oriented culture had a significant positive correlation to verbal abuse by doctor and nurse and innovation for verbal abuse by doctor. Respectively showing explanatory power job stress score serving as the major predictor variable for relation-oriented culture and verbal abuse by nurse 6.5%. The results of this study suggest that type of organizational culture should be regarded as important factors of job stress and verbal abuse. The results imply that hospital administrators should pay attention to the organizational culture to decrease their job stress through effective communication programs.

  • Purpose - The corporate culture's energy is recognized to go through the company and facilitate a new balance to realize success, which means that the culture in an environment of various organizations affects the performance of its employees. The purpose of the current research is to investigate the impact of organizational culture on employee performance. Research design, data, and methodology - The current research conducted a qualitative content analysis. The primary research approach applied by qualitative content analysis is an inductive methodology, and this approach is a type of reasoning that seeks the application of logic, which later helps develop a theory that will guide the future research. Result - Research findings of the present study indicated that five solutions to the problems encountered through the execution of culture are attached to how effective the organizational culture are when workers execute. Thus, culture is realized to boost structure, because the structure of an organization elevates the behavior of the organization. Conclusion - Workers will be aware of both the negative and positive implications of executing culture in the organization. Therefore, organization managers must learn that various employees are vital people in their vicinity, and creating a culture that would make a good rapport with them is vital.

  • Among recent management innovation activities of companies, one of the most important competitive advantage through customer satisfaction, and to which members of the organization's service orientation is essential. The company's service orientation is closely related to the organization's culture. In this study, the organization's service-oriented culture, the internal service quality, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and ultimately affects the employee's influence on customer orientation will look at that. Results and implications of this study can be summarized as follows. the internal service quality among the factors tangibles, assurance, empathy, job satisfaction showed a significant influence on the type of empathy and emotional commitment castle had a significant impact on. With these results, relationships with colleagues within the organization, such as work environment and job satisfaction and emotional commitment, the atmosphere is very important to know that you can affect. Therefore, the members of the company to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment, corporate culture, business as well as collaboration with colleagues to share the emotional atmosphere of sympathy for the business environment will get improved.

The Impact of the Organizational Culture Type Perceived by Cabin Crews on Job Stress: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Empowerment (캐빈승무원이 지각한 조직문화 유형이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향: 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • For the empirical analysis in this study, 335 cabin crews from large airline companies and budget airlines were interviewed using self-reporting questionnaires. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. First, of the organizational culture types, the relationship-oriented culture, hierarchy-oriented culture, and task-oriented culture were found to have negative impacts on job stress. Second, the innovation-oriented organizational culture, relationship-oriented culture, and hierarchy-oriented culture were found to have positive impacts on empowerment. Third, empowerment was found to have a negative impact on job stress. Fourth, as for the mediating effect of empowerment, the innovation-oriented culture, relationship-oriented culture, hierarchy-oriented culture, and task-oriented culture were verified to be all significantly mediated by empowerment in their relationship with job stress. As a result, it was shown that cabin crews of airline companies found their work more fun, interesting, and valuable in an organizational structure that was more oriented toward flexibility, rather than the hierarchical, task-oriented cultures that are more focused on control and order. It was also found that empowerment was a mediating factor in the relationship between organizational culture and job stress.

A Study on the Effects of the Type of Mixed Manning and the Ratio of Foreign Crew, the Acceptance and Adaptation of Cross-Culture to the Group Cohesiveness, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in Ship Organizations (외국인 선원의 혼승 형태와 비율, 이문화 수용 및 적응에 따른 선박조직의 집단응집성과 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 관한 연구)

  • This study establishes the research model and sets up the hypothesis in order to analyze the effect of the type of mixed manning and the ratio of foreign crew on the group cohesiveness, job satisfaction and organizational commitment in ship organizations and the moderating effect of the acceptance and adaptation of cross-culture. For statistical hypothesis testing, it conducts a questionnaire survey targeting mixed manning ships and examines empirically the inter-variables relation through the regression. The result of empirical research is that the group cohesiveness, job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the ship organization of Korean master(chief engineer) and foreign officers is higher than that of Korean master and officers. Moreover, it is found that the group cohesiveness of 31~50% foreign crew group is less than that of the others. However, There is no moderating effects of the acceptance and adaptation of cross-culture. Additionally, it demonstrates the higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the stronger cohesiveness groups. The finding suggests the rationale that shipping and ship management companies could raise the group cohesiveness, job satisfaction and organizational commitment by moderating the type of mixed manning and the ratio of foreign crew.

Factors Influencing Life-Long Learning: An Empirical Study of Young People in Vietnam

  • This study, not only investigates the important role of lifelong learning in shaping young people's knowledge and in maximizing their potential, but also aims to shed light on the influencing factors of lifelong learning of young people in Vietnam. The author applied STATA and SPSS to analyze quantitative data collected from questionnaires with 332 respondents aged between 19 years old and 24 years old. Based on a holistic review of literature, this study concludes that four driver factors affect young people's lifelong learning ability, comprising: organizational culture, motivation, human resource development, and domestic private type of enterprise. The results emphasize the positivity of organizational culture, human resource development, and the nature of work, especially organizational culture and human resource development, which are dominant reasons for young people to maintain lifelong learning. The relationship between demographics and lifelong learning was tested and it indicated that male has a stronger interest in learning than female. The result of the study also shows the impact of different types of business sectors on employees' learning intentions. It points out that the domestic private type of enterprise is the most effective factor that has a positive relationship with the lifelong learning of the individual.
