The purpose of this study was to investigate developmental trends in organization strategy for taxonomic and slot-fiber lists and category typicality, use of organization strategy in relation to developmental changes in category knowledge structure, emergent organization capacity and effects in category typicality on children's recall. Moreover, the influences of children's age, use of organization strategy, list types and category typicality on children's recap were figured out. The major results were as follows. 1. Children's recall use of organization strategy increased with age. That is, the older children performed better recap and used organization strategy on both list types than the younger children. 2. AU children performed recall and used organization strategy better for the slot-filler than taxonomic list. The 4-year-olds, however, demonstrated better recap and use of organization strategy for the slot-filler than taxonomic list. While the 6-year-olds and 8-year-olds showed no such differences. These findings were supported the view that script-based slot-filler categories have a strong influence on young children's memory performance. 3. At each age level, children showed higher level of recall and use of organization strategy for category typical than category atypical list. AU children received higher scores for the typical than atypical items on recap and use of organization strategy. 4. Children's age, use of organization strategy, list types, and category typicality of lists significantly predicted children's recap.58% of the variance of children's recap was explained by four variables.

The purpose of this study was to identify the preferable learning strategies in science learning and to find out the relationship between these strategies and scientific achievement of students in the secondary school. The learning strategies were tested with two categories, self-focused and work-focused learning. The four types of learning strategies in science learning were analyzed, and they were named to organization, monitoring, elaboration and memorization strategies, which were defined by GSSS test. In the self-focused learning, the organization and monitoring strategies were preferred to the elaboration and memorization strategies. Middle school students had a preference for memorization strategy (p=0.000), whereas high school students had a preference for monitoring strategy (p=0.015). In the case of organization strategy, female groups were preferable to male groups (p=0.027). In the second form of learning types, work-focused learning, the memorization strategy was the same preference as organization and monitoring strategies in the secondary school students, especially the male groups of high school students. The preference of elaboration strategy was relative lower compared with that of self-focused learning type. Middle school students had a preference for monitoring strategy (p=0.001), whereas high school students had a preference for elaboration strategy (p=0.001). The difference of each preference between male and female groups was not shown. From the analysis of correlation between learning strategy and scientific achievement, it showed that the monitoring strategy was commonly correlated with scientific achievement. In the self-focused learning, elaboration and organization strategies were correlated with scientific achievement in high school students (p<0.05). In the work-focused learning, memorization strategy was correlated with scientific achievement in middle school students, especially in male groups (p<0.05).
The purpose of this study is to categorize group of firms by using characteristics of technical innovation in telecommunication industry and to identify relationships between types of technical innovation and such contingency factors of technical innovation. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows; First, Type 1 Group (Innovative Industry Leading Group) tends to use innovative and market differentiation strategy and has more innovative C.E.O's management style and innovative culture. Second, Type 2 Group (Dependent Group on Market Change) tends to use market differentiation or cost leadership strategy and has a more conservative C.E.O's management style and non-innovative culture. Third, Type 3 Group (Small Technology Intensive Group) tends to use focused innovative strategy and has a more innovative C.E.O's management style and innovative culture. Fourth, Type 4 Group (Non-Innovative Group) tends to use focused cost leadership strategy and has a more conservative C.E.O's management style and non-innovative culture.
ERP system is a very popular tool for pushing management innovation and implementing an integrated information system. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship among the structure of production systems, types of implementation strategy, relative importance of competitive goals, information technology and culture level, and the efficiency from using the system. The data for this study were collected from 45 Korean manufacturing firms that have implemented ERP system. Research results confirm that the success factors include the top managements' strategic views and culture level related to new information technology. But the linkage between the structure of production systems and types of implementation strategy is proved to be very weak. Also control effect of types of implementation strategy on the efficiency of the organization is not strongly recognized. A summarized report of other findings is provided as well.

This research classified hospital specialization strategy types through cluster analysis, analyzed fitness of hospital specialization strategy types for external environment or organizational structure, and examined relation between hospital specialization strategy types and organizational performance. This research surveyed 1,437 hospitals which have more than 30 patient's bed and practice national health service in Korea. Specifically, this research divided into two part : external fit - analysis of relation between external environment and specialization strategy, internal fit-analysis of relation between organizational structure factors and specialization strategy. also, as the organizational performance for achieving specialization strategic purpose, not only the productivity, efficiency, profit but also the medical quality was considered. In case of external fit, many hospitals chose integration type if there are a lot of competitive hospitals and regional population. Particularly, if there are many competitive hospitals, concentration type is chosen. In contrast, if there are many doctors in the region, differentiation type is chosen. In case of internal fit, according to organization type and patient's bed number, hospitals chose different types. If it is a general hospital and has a few bed number, generalization or concentration type is chosen. Tertiary hospital or the hospital with many patient's bed chose differentiation type. According to the number of specialists, if there are a few specialists, generalization or concentration type is chosen. If there are many specialists, differentiation type has high fitness for the hospital. In relation to strategy types and organizational performance, differentiation type has best result. Differentiation type has a good result in 7 items out of 11.

Purpose: This study examines how the types of organizational culture at a public health center affect job satisfaction and organization commitment of nurses. Method: The study selected 139 nurses from six public health centers located in G city, J province as subjects. The data was collected from April 1 to May 31 in 2008. Result: In regard to type of organizational culture had significant correlation with both job satisfaction and organization commitment, job satisfaction and organization commitment also showed high correlation. Concerning type of organizational culture, two variables of affiliated culture and innovative culture explained 26.3% of job satisfaction and 29.3% of organization commitment. Conclusion: The job satisfaction and organization commitment of nurses varied according to types of organizational culture of a public health center, and showed high correlation. The more affiliated and innovative the organizational culture was, the higher job satisfaction and organization commitment turned out. Therefore, it is advisable to develop a strategy that systematically creates a affiliated and innovative organizational culture that pays attention to goal achievement of the nurse.

Various changes in medical environments including growing elderly population, chronic diseases, deepening competition among hospitals since opening to foreign medical service, economic strategy for improvement of profit system have caused hospitals to be specialized. In this backgrounds, the purpose of this study is to receive basic data for architectural planning on the spatial organization of outpatient department in general hospital. The results of this study were as follows; First, major changes of outpatient department in general hospital are composed of 'co-work in medical examination and treatment', 'decentralization of diagnosis and treatment(D/T)' and 'patient-oriented medical service'. Changes by co-work system include appearance of medical offices for co-work, activation of specialized clinics, grouping of E/T section for outpatient and various types of specialized centers. Second, the grouping of E/T sections means the modification of E/T system and organization in general hospitals, and a new spatial organization will be needed. Third, the types of specialized centers are getting varied. they are classified into several types including disease-resource, social stratum-resource, human organ-resource, health-resource, rehabilitation-resource, alternative medical center and so on.

Corporate managers look at IT outsourcing as long-term strategic choices not as short-term tactical ones, and maximizing the effect that IT outsourcing brings about is the main concern to them. Emerging different types of IT outsourcing and their effects on the corporate business decisions necessitate the research on this subject. According to previous researches, the Intent for IT outsourcing is categorized as IS Improvement, Business Impact, and Commercial Exploitation. The decison factors for these IT outsourcing include corporate strategy types, IT role, and interaction between these two. Firm size and IT maturity are selected as moderating factors to add the credibility to the research of the effect of IT outsourcing decision making. Analyzing IT outsourcing data collected from 61 large-size and mid-size domestic firms revealed that corporate strategy rather than IT role is more significant factor affecting the intent for IT outsourcing decision. That means the decision of outsourcing intent is affected by corporate strategy types. Defenders(as in corporate strategy types) tend to use IT outsourcing more as a means to improve information systems, compared to analyzers and reactors. Prospectors tend to use IT outsourcing more as a commercial exploitation, compared to analyzers and reactors. These outcomes prove that corporate strategy characteristics reflect outsourcing intent. There were previous researches that showed outsourcing decision depends on IT role however the hypothesis was rejected that IT role determines outsourcing intent. It was also rejected that the interaction between corporate strategy types and IT role determines outsourcing intent. Corporate decision makers should first analyze corporate strategy, and reflect it on the outsourcing intent when they make IT outsourcing decisions. Only the precise defining of IT outsourcing intent will lower the risk and increase the possibility of success.

Corporation's valuable intelligent asset is being threatened from the skills of threatening subject that has been evolved along with the growth of the information system and the amount of the information asset. Domestically, attempts of various private information attacks, important information extortion, and information damage have been detected, and some of them have abused the vulnerability of security of information system, and have become a severe social problem that generates security incident. When accessing to the security, most of companies used to establish a strategy with a consistent manner and a solution plan. However, this is not a proper way. The order of priorities vary depending on the types of business. Also, the scale of damage varies significantly depending on the types of security incidents. And method of reaction and critical control point vary depending on the types of business and security incidents. In this study, I will define the security incidents by their types and preponderantly examine how one should react to those security incidents. In this study, analyzed many types of security accidents that can occur within a corporation and an organization considering various factors. Through this analysis, thought about factors that has to be considered by corporations and organizations when they intend to access to the information security. This study focuses on the response methodology based on the analysis of the case analysis of the leakage of industrial secret and private secret other than the conceptual response methodology that examines the way to prevent the leakage of the industry security systems and the industry information activities. And based on these factors, want to be of help for corporations to apply a reasonable approach when they establish a strategy to information security.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the organizational effectiveness of uniersity libraries in Korea. This study models emphasized the situational factors, fundamental factors and types of organiz tional effectiveness. environment, technology, size, strategy, and power were taken as situational factors of organizational structure ; fundamental factors were complexity, formalization, and centralization ; organizational structures were diveded into simple organization, functional organization, departmental organization, subject divisional organization(I), (II). Efficiency, flexibility, information service and satisfaction were taken as effectiveness factors and satisfaction was subdivided into organizational commitment and job satisfaction. In this study, situational factors, fundamental factors and types of organizational structures influence one another, ultimately affect the level of organizational effectiveness. Organizational effectiveness represents no organization of high organizational effectiveness on all levels.
