Objectives: This study aimed to identify the level of digital oral health literacy among Korean adults in Gangwon-do. Methods: A survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with adults aged 30-89 residing in Gangwon-do, South Korea. The independent variables were socio-demographic characteristics, including gender, age, education level, income, and occupation. The dependent variable was digital oral health literacy. The statistical analysis included Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis, all performed using the SPSS 27.0 software program. Results: The elderly and those with poor socioeconomic status (p<0.001) had lower average scores due to poor digital oral health literacy. The ease of searching for oral health information and the utilization of digital devices to search for information on oral health displayed a significant relationship (r=0.730, p<0.001). To develop the use of digital devices, simplifying the search for oral information (p<0.001) is essential. Conclusions: All socio-demographic characteristics, except gender, displayed a correlation with the level of digital oral health literacy. Both environmental and individual aspects of the respondents' living conditions must be considered to improve digital oral health literacy.

Methods: The survey sample consisted of 262 randomly selected students. 197 of them are public health-related students and 65 are non-public health-related students. The questionnaires used in this study consisted of 4 items for general information, oral health status of 2 items, 5 items for Oral hygiene knowledge and actual condition of oral care of 5 items. Collected data were analyzed by Frequency Analysis t-test and Crosstabs using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Win 19.0 statistics program. Results: Regarding general characteristics of the subjects, there were 53.8% of first-year student, 26.0% of second-year student and 20.2% of third-year student among 52.3% of males and 47.7% of females. The subjects received less than "100,000" won(13.0%), "100,000-190,000" won (5.0%), "200,000-290,000" won(30.9%), "300,000-390,000" won (33.2%) and more than "400,000" won(17.9%) a month for an allowance. The subjects had 'none' (44.3%), '1'(6.5%), '2'(12.6%), '3'(5.0%), '4'(5.3%), 'more than' 5(0.8%) of dental caries and 'do not know' were 25.6%. The numbers of dental prosthetics were 'no' (35.5%), '1'(13.7%), '2'(17.2%), '3'(10.3%), '4'(11.5%), and 'more than 5'(11.8%). The public health students(84.8%) had a higher positive response rate than the non-public health students(66.2%). The public health students(80.2%) had a higher negative response rate than the non-public health students(78.5%) in the result of onset of gum disease pain awareness. The non-public health students(65.5%) had a higher negative response rate than the public health students(68.3%)) in the result of heredity of gum disease. The t-test showed that public health-related department students(M=8.264, SD=0.821) had more knowledge about oral hygiene than non-public health-related department students(M=8.015, SD=1.082). 'do not use' in the oral care products except toothpaste and toothbrush showed that public health-related department students(60.4%) use the products more than non-public health-related department students(66.2%). Conclusion: In this study, public health-related department students had higher oral hygiene knowledge and actual condition of oral care compared to non-public health-related students, but low in practical action. Due to the lower level of dental care products use in non-public health-related department, a continuous oral care education program is required.

Methods : The subjects in this study were 315 students at three different middle schools located in the city of Gunsan. After a self-administered survey was conducted by using structured questionnaires in collaboration with their homeroom teachers, the answer sheets from 315 students were gathered. And the answer sheets from 302 students were analyzed with SPSS 12.0 program except 13 incomplete ones. The findings of the study were as follows: Results : 1. By gender and grade, the middle school boys(51.3%) outnumbered the middle school girls(48.7%), and the seventh, eighty and ninth graders respectively accounted for 31.5, 32.8 and 35.8 percent. 2. As to the parts of the mouth they brushed, the largest number of the seventh graders(31.6%) and ninth graders(56.5%) brushed their teeth and tongue. The largest group of the eighth graders(39.4%) brushed their teeth, tongue and gums, and the gaps between them and the others were statistically significant. 3. In regard to toothbrushing frequency, the ninth graders did that 2.62 times, which was the largest frequency, but the gap between them and the others was not statistically significant. 4. Concerning school oral health education experiences, the rates of the seventh, eighth and ninth graders who had ever received that education stood at 69.5, 50.6 and 50.5 percent respectively, and those students significantly outnumbered the others who hadn't(p<0.01). 5. As for the relationship of their oral health behavior scores to toothbrushing frequency, there was a statistically significant correlation between the two(r=0.227, p<0.001). And the oral health knowledge scores had a statistically significant correlation to toothbrushing frequency (r=0.116, p<0.05) and oral health behavior scores(r=0.358, p<0.001). Conclusions : It is concluded that proactive oral health education must be made through diverse programs and systems. Also, regular oral examination and active oral health program for preventing dental caries and periodontal disease should be proliferated in order to evaluate achievement and effectiveness and maintain oral health care.

The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 15.0 program, and statistical data on frequency and percentage were acquired to find out the general characteristics of the teachers. And crosstabulation was utilized to look for connections between oral health education experiences and actual oral health care. Results : At the 158 local children's centers, 21 teachers had ever learned about oral health education to provide children with that, and 137 teachers hadn't. The local children's centers that the former worked for had more interest in dental caries, and those centers had children do toothbrushing more than the other centers at which the latter served. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: Maternal knowledge of oral health was moderate level ($10.22{\pm}2.36$). Scores of maternal knowledge of oral health were different according to age, education, occupation, parity, and dental care experience in pregnancy. Level of oral healthcare knowledge was weakly related to age and education.
