광역에너지이용 통합 최적화 운전 시스템 개발 및 경제적 효과 (Development and Economic Effect of Integrated Optimum Operation System using Wide Area Energy)

  • 본 연구에서는 지역난방 수도권 지사별 실태 및 영향인자 진단 분석을 통해 개별지사와 연계지사간의 효율적이며 경제적인 운전을 할 수 있는 최적화 운전 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 통해 실제보다 최적화 운전시 어느정도 경제적 효과가 있는지를 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 각 지사별 실태조사를 통해 보일러, 펌프, 관련Tag(온도, 압력, 연료량)등 다양한 인자를 진단/분석하였고 최적화 프로그램 개발을 위해 방대한 1년간 데이터를 인자별 Data base를 구축할 수 있었다. 또한 이를 통해 지사별 최적화 프로그램을 개발하여 수행한 결과, 최적화 선호도는 "소각장 >한전수열 >CHP >PLBs >PLBw"이었으며 연계를 제외한 각 지사별 실제운전과 최적화 운전 비용차이가 거의 없었다. 한편, 통합운영 최적화 프로그램을 개발하여 실제와 동일한 총 생산열량과 동일한 한전수열량과 같은 고정인자는 변동치 않고 단지 연계공급/수급열량만을 프로그램을 통해 최적조건(가장 저렴하고 효율적인 열량을 우선공급하는 조건)으로 효율적으로 운전한 결과, 사계절별 임의로 선정된 2~4일에 대한 일일 절감율 2.45~6.80%, 일일 절감액 22,727천원~60,077천원을 나타내었는데, 특히 겨울철에 제일 많은 수요량을 나타내며 가장 많은 절감비용을 얻을 수 있었고 수요량이 적은 여름철이 절감비용이 가장 작았다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 1년간 실제 열량 생산비용 대비 연간 절감비용을 환산하면 이론적으로 84억원이며 이는 수도권 전지사의 연간 총 열생산 비용(3,070억원)의 2.74%이상을 절감하는 경제적 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

연료 공급 및 S/C비에 따른 평판형 STR 반응기 성능 평가 (The Performance Evaluation of Plate Type STR Reactor with Variation of S/C Ratio and Fuel Supply)

  • According to the propagation of fuel cell system, the importance of that system efficiency is being magnified. Thus, the efficiency improvement of reformer which is the important factor of fuel cell system will be required. This study has been experimentally performed to evaluated the performance of plate type STR reactor. At first, we changed fuel flow rate (2, 3 and 4 l/min) in burner, and then we measured a proportion of hydrogen in produced gas through the STR reactor by G.C for evaluating the performance of plate type STR reactor in various fuel supply conditions. And we changed S/C ratio (2 and 4) and measured a proportion of hydrogen in produced gas through the STR reactor. As a results, condition at fuel flow rate 2 and 3 l/min could not be supplied amount of heat for STR sufficiently. Condition at fuel flow rate 4 l/min could supplied a heat excessively. And condition at S/C ratio 2, reaction occurred insufficiency. But condition at S/C ratio 4 was excess. From above, we found the optimum conditions that were fuel rate 3.5 l/min and S/C ratio 3.

저온온수 모세유관 바닥복사 난방시스템의 성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on a Low-Temperature Hot Water Capillary Radiant Floor Heating System)

  • Radiant floor heating systems with capillary tubes are energy saving systems in which hot water is circulated into capillary tube with a small diameter. In this study, the heating performance of capillary tube system is investigated in an experimental study and a simulation model. The results of the study showed that, the capillary tube radiant floor heating system maintains a more stable floor surface temperature in comparison a PB pipe system. In terms of energy consumption, the capillary tube radiant floor heating system proved to be more efficient than the PB pipe heating system at $40^{\circ}C$ of low temperature hot water supply. The difference between water temperature and room temperature can be held low for heating which saves energy. Low temperature radiant floor heating system with capillary tubes have significant advantages such as health improvement, low energy cost, optimum use of heat source(boiler) and higher operational efficiency.

CNx코팅된 강의 회전접촉피로에 미치는 코팅두께의 영향 (Effect of Coating Thickness on Rolling Contact Fatigue of CNx Coated Steel)

  • Ion beam assisted deposition system was used to deposit CNx coatings with various thickness on the substrates of high-frequency induction hardened steels. Rolling contact fatigue tests were performed using Polymet RCF-1 machine with a constant supply of lubricant. Rolling contact fatigue life was substantially different in the steels with various thickness of CNx coatings. The optimum thickness of CNx coating was found to be $8.9{\mu}m$, showing the longest fatigue life, mainly caused by higher resistance to initiation of cracks and protective overcoat remaining to the surface failure during rolling contact fatigue. Cracks were initiated in the substrates under the surface of wear track and propagated to the surface, which eventually resulted in the failure. The reduction of fatigue life observed in the specimen with elimination of CNx coating during rolling contact fatigue was explained by the substrates deformation.

  • 이 논문은 LTP 퍼니스의 최적화 된 내부 유동과 온도의 균일성에 대한 수치 해석에 관한 것이다. 반도체 제조 공정에서 실리콘 웨이퍼를 어닐링하기 위한 기능을 수행한다. 특히 챔버 내부의 최고 온도를 약 $400^{\circ}C$의 고온으로 유지하여 웨이퍼를 보강한다. 공정이 고온에서 완료되면 열 교환기를 통해 온도를 낮추고 이를 수행하기 위한 작업이 반복된다. 이 논문에서 최종적인 목표는 LTPS 퍼니스의 유동 해석을 통해 챔버의 단열 공급과 배기 구조의 최적 설계를 도출하는 것과 교육과정 개발을 위한 사례 발굴에 있다.

LNG 냉열을 이용한 냉장·냉동 창고 모사에 관한 연구 (A Study of Simulation on the Refrigerated Warehouse System Based on the Cold Energy of Lng Using the Pro-Ii Simulator)

  • When Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) is vaporized into NG for industrial and household usage, tremendous cold energy was transferred from LNG to seawater during phase-changing process. This heat exchanger loop is not only a waste of huge cold energy, but will cause thermal pollution to the coastal fishery area also when cold water was re-injected into the sea. In this study, an innovation design has been performed to reclaim the cold energy for -35 to $62^{\circ}C$ refrigerated warehouse. Conventionally, this was done by installing mechanical refrigeration systems, necessitating tremendous electrical power to drive temperature. A closed loop LNG heat exchangers in series was designed to replace the mechanical or vapor-compression refrigeration cycle by process simulator. The process simulation software of PRO II with provision has been used to simulate this process for various conditions, what to effect on cold energy and used energy for re-liquefaction and evaporation process. In addition, through analysis the effect of the change of LNG supply pressure on sensible and latent heat, optimum operational conditions was suggested for LNG cold energy warehouse.

  • This article reviews the papers published in the Korean Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering during 2013. It is intended to understand the status of current research in the areas of heating, cooling, ventilation, sanitation, and indoor environments of buildings and plant facilities. Conclusions are as follows. (1) The research works on the thermal and fluid engineering have been reviewed as groups of fluid machinery, pipes and relative parts including orifices, dampers and ducts, fuel cells and power plants, cooling and air-conditioning, heat and mass transfer, two phase flow, and the flow around buildings and structures. Research issues dealing with home appliances, flows around buildings, nuclear power plant, and manufacturing processes are newly added in thermal and fluid engineering research area. (2) Research works on heat transfer area have been reviewed in the categories of heat transfer characteristics, pool boiling and condensing heat transfer and industrial heat exchangers. Researches on heat transfer characteristics included the results for general analytical model for desiccant wheels, the effects of water absorption on the thermal conductivity of insulation materials, thermal properties of Octadecane/xGnP shape-stabilized phase change materials and $CO_2$ and $CO_2$-Hydrate mixture, effect of ground source heat pump system, the heat flux meter location for the performance test of a refrigerator vacuum insulation panel, a parallel flow evaporator for a heat pump dryer, the condensation risk assessment of vacuum multi-layer glass and triple glass, optimization of a forced convection type PCM refrigeration module, surface temperature sensor using fluorescent nanoporous thin film. In the area of pool boiling and condensing heat transfer, researches on ammonia inside horizontal smooth small tube, R1234yf on various enhanced surfaces, HFC32/HFC152a on a plain surface, spray cooling up to critical heat flux on a low-fin enhanced surface were actively carried out. In the area of industrial heat exchangers, researches on a fin tube type adsorber, the mass-transfer kinetics of a fin-tube-type adsorption bed, fin-and-tube heat exchangers having sine wave fins and oval tubes, louvered fin heat exchanger were performed. (3) In the field of refrigeration, studies are categorized into three groups namely refrigeration cycle, refrigerant and modeling and control. In the category of refrigeration cycle, studies were focused on the enhancement or optimization of experimental or commercial systems including a R410a VRF(Various Refrigerant Flow) heat pump, a R134a 2-stage screw heat pump and a R134a double-heat source automotive air-conditioner system. In the category of refrigerant, studies were carried out for the application of alternative refrigerants or refrigeration technologies including $CO_2$ water heaters, a R1234yf automotive air-conditioner, a R436b water cooler and a thermoelectric refrigerator. In the category of modeling and control, theoretical and experimental studies were carried out to predict the performance of various thermal and control systems including the long-term energy analysis of a geo-thermal heat pump system coupled to cast-in-place energy piles, the dynamic simulation of a water heater-coupled hybrid heat pump and the numerical simulation of an integral optimum regulating controller for a system heat pump. (4) In building mechanical system research fields, twenty one studies were conducted to achieve effective design of the mechanical systems, and also to maximize the energy efficiency of buildings. The topics of the studies included heating and cooling, HVAC system, ventilation, and renewable energies in the buildings. Proposed designs, performance tests using numerical methods and experiments provide useful information and key data which can improve the energy efficiency of the buildings. (5) The field of architectural environment is mostly focused on indoor environment and building energy. The main researches of indoor environment are related to infiltration, ventilation, leak flow and airtightness performance in residential building. The subjects of building energy are worked on energy saving, operation method and optimum operation of building energy systems. The remained studies are related to the special facility such as cleanroom, internet data center and biosafety laboratory. water supply and drain system, defining standard input variables of BIM (Building Information Modeling) for facility management system, estimating capability and providing operation guidelines of subway station as shelter for refuge and evaluation of pollutant emissions from furniture-like products.

공동주택의 최적 열공급을 위한 난방부하 예측에 관한 연구 (Prediction of Heating Load for Optimum Heat Supply in Apartment Building)

  • 지역난방 시스템의 최적 스케쥴 제어를 위해서는 난방부하 예측이 필요하다. 공동주택의 난방부하는 복잡한 변수들의 영향을 받기 때문에 손쉬운 난방부하 예측을 위해 사용하기 쉬우며 효용성 있는 예측방법의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 익일의 시간별 난방부하를 예측하기 위해 단순화된 외기조건 예측방법과 부하 예측방법을 제안하였다. 난방부하 예측을 위해 건물설계서에서 쉽게 얻을 수 있는 간단한 사양과 예측된 온습도가 사용되었다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 지역난방 시스템으로부터 시간별로 실측된 난방부하와 예측된 결과를 비교하였다. 예측된 외기조건은 실측된 값과 비교하여 변화양상이 잘 일치하였다. 예측된 난방부하와 측정된 난방부하를 비교한 결과, 시간별, 일별, 월별 모두 예측과 실측이 비교적 잘 일치하였으며, 난방기간 동안 월별 부하의 평균 오차는 약 4.68%로 비교적 작은 값을 가졌다.

최적화 생산시스템 모델 개발을 위한 양돈시설의 조사 연구 (Study on the Swine Farming Facilities by Survey for the Development of the Optimum Production System Models)

  • 본 연구는 사육, 급사, 급수, 번식, 건강 관리, 환기 및 열 관리, 자료 분석 등에 대한 기계화 및 자동화의 현황과 수준을 분석 평가하고, 이를 토대로 양돈 시설의 최적화 생산 시스템 모델 개발의 연구 방향을 설정하기 위하여 수행되었으며 앞으로의 연구 방향을 다음과 같이 설정하였다. 1) 종모돈, 종빈돈, 분만돈은 단사식으로 사육하고, 자돈, 육성돈, 비육돈은 군사식으로 사육하는 것과 돈방 배열은 복열식으로 하는 것을 기준으로 한국형 환경 제어용 스라트 무창돈사를 개발한다. 2) 한국형 환경 제어용 스라트 무창돈사에 적합한 환경 제어 시스템과 분뇨 처리 시스템을 개발한다. 3) 전자식 개체식별장치를 개발한다. 4) 전자식 개체식별장치와 컴퓨터를 이용한 자동 개체 습식 급사 시스템을 개발한다. 5) 번식돈을 위한 전자식 개체식별장치에 의한 개체 관리 시스템을 개발한다. 6) 건강 관리 및 자료 분석 등을 종합 관리할 수 있는 전문가 시스템을 개발한다.

LPG / 가솔린 겸용차량의 점화시기 변환에 의한 엔진성능고찰 (A Study on Engine Performance of the Ignition Spark Timing Conversion for LPG/Gasoline Bi-fuel Vehicle)

  • In a bi-fuel engine using gasoline and LPG fuel, with the current ignition timing for gasoline being used, the optimum performance could not be taken in LPG fuel supply mode. The ignition timing in LPG fuel mode must be advanced much more than that of gasoline mode for the compensation of its higher ignition temperature. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the ignition spark timing conversion influences the engine performance of LPG/Gasoline Bi-Fuel engine. In order to investigate the engine performance during combustion, engine performance are sampled by data acquisition system, for example cylinder pressure, pressure rise rate and heat release rate, while change of the rpm(1500, 2000, 2500) and the ignition timing advance($5^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$). As the result, between 1500rpm, 2000rpm and 2500rpm, the cylinder pressure and pressure rise rate was increased when the spark ignition was advanced but pressure rise rate at $20^{\circ}$ was smaller value.
