In recent years, the market for online computer games has become an important part in the entertainment industry. New online games have been introduced every month and the numbers of game players who are playing online games have grown rapidly. However, only a few online games have been successful in making a good profit among many online games. Why are most players playing only a few online games repeatedly? To answer the question, this research focuses on the customer loyalty and their optimal experience(flow) in playing specific online games. This research hypothesizes that customer loyalty for specific online game can be increased by customers' optimal experience(flow) in playing it, and they would feel optimal experience because of mechanic and social interaction in online games. In order to validate the hypothesis, this research analyzes online survey data of players of various online games. According to this survey results, players' optimal experience is affected by their mechanic interaction between a player and an online game system, and their social interaction with other players who participated in the online game. And their optimal experience during playing the online game affects the degree of customer loyalty to the game. This paper ends with conclusions of the survey results and study limits.
Recently, research and development on immersive virtual reality(VR) technology to provide a realistic experience is being widely conducted. To provide realistic experience in immersive virtual reality for VR participants, virtual environments should consist of high-realistic environments using 3D reconstruction. In this paper, to acquire 3D information in real space using multiple cameras in the reconstruction process, we propose a novel method of optimal camera placement for accurate reconstruction to minimize distortion of 3D information. Through our approach in this paper, real 3D information can obtain with minimized errors during environment reconstruction, and it is possible to provide a more immersive experience with the created virtual environment.

This paper is concerned with the problem of joint resource allocation and user-pairing in virtual MIMO SC-FDMA systems to improve service quality of experience (QoE). No-reference logarithmic model is introduced to quantify service experience for each user and the objective is to maximize sum of all user's mean of score (MOS). We firstly formulate the optimal problem into an S-dimensional (S-D) assignment problem. Then, to solve this problem, the modified Lagrangian relaxation algorithm is deduced to obtain the suboptimal result of joint user-paring and subchannel allocation. The merits of this solution are as follows. First, the gap between its results and the global optimal one can be quantified and controlled by balancing the complexity and accuracy, which merit the other suboptimal algorithms do not have. Secondly, it has the polynomial computational complexity and the worst case complexity is O(3LN3), where L is the maximum iteration time and N is the number of subchannels. Simulations also prove that our proposed algorithm can effectively improve quality of experience and the gap between our proposed and the optimal algorithms can be controlled below 8%.

In most machining companies, operators decide the cutting condition, a pair of spindle speed (5) and table federate (F) by experience and subjective judgment. As cutting conditions are determined by operators' experience and ability, inconsistent cutting conditions are given in same operating conditions. The objective of this study is to develop the cutting condition decision system which utilizes shop data and predicts tool life by neural network and eventually leads to the optimal cutting condition. The production time per piece is considered for an optimization object. We will discuss the process of an optimal cutting condition decision by neural network. By this process, a series of shop data is stored. And neural network is constructed for prediction of tool life and the optimal cutting condition is recommended from a cutting condition decision system using the stored shop data. The results show that the developed system is rational in searching the optimal cutting conditions on job operations.
The optimal structure of the conventional Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks (FPNN)[3] depends on experience of designer. For the conventional Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks, input variable number, number of input variable, number of Membership Functions(MFs) and consequence structures are selected through the experience of a model designer iteratively. In this paper, we propose the new design methodology to find the optimal structure of Fuzzy Polymomial Neural Network by using Genetic Algorithms(GAs)[4, 5]. In the sequel, It is shown that the proposed Advanced Genetic Algorithms based Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Network(Advanced GAs-based FPNN) is more useful and effective than the existing models for nonlinear process. We used Medical Imaging System(MIS)[6] data to evaluate the performance of the proposed model.
The security threat posed by worms has steadily increased in recent years. This paper discusses the application of the optimal and sub-optimal Internet worm control via Pontryagin's maximum principle. To this end, a control variable representing the optimal treatment strategy for infectious hosts is introduced into the two-factor worm model. The numerical optimal control laws are implemented by the multiple shooting method and the sub-optimal solution is computed using genetic algorithms. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed optimal and sub-optimal strategies. It also provides a theoretical interpretation of the practical experience that the maximum implementation of treatment in the early stage is critically important in controlling outbreaks of Internet worms. Furthermore, our results show that the proposed sub-optimal control can lead to performance close to the optimal control, but with much simpler strategies for long periods of time in practical use.
Tour industry has been growing with increasing of people leisure time quantitatively as well as qualitatively. Especially, region tourist industry shows rapid growth because of the development of transportation and communication. Tourist contents that representing the region have been developing briskly. However there are many nominal tourist contents have just region differentiation with same attribute and composition. It has to be consider about tourist first not a contents provider or a developer. To be memorable tourist contents and to connect to consumption, understanding about tourist is needed. So 'Experience' will be standards when tourist contents is planned. In that sense, experience 4factors from Experience Economy and Challenge-skill model from Flow will be frames for giving shape to develop tourist contents. Experience 4factors from Experience Economy suggests 4factors for the superb enjoyment to tourists, and Challenge-skill model from Flow proposes balanced contents for understanding tourists. They will contribute to suggest planning frames for sustainable tourist contents and it lead to tourists' reinstation.
Purpose Customers consider the overall experience with the company as important as the quality of the product, and companies are also paying attention to creating long-term relationships with customers through optimal customer experiences. In this study, we propose a customer experience management process called 'CX-Q', which combines customer journey map and Q-methodology to understand the importance of customer experience based on the overall customer experience. Design/methodology/approach. CX-Q is a process that combines Q-methodology and customer journey maps, allowing stakeholders to explore and improve customer experiences at each contact point while engaging with brands, products, and services. It also enables them to derive customer experience insights and important management points for each segment. To demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed CX-Q, this study analyzed the experience of customers who used the Airbnb travel platform service as an example, applying the CX-Q process. Findings A total of four customer segments were derived, and it was found that each segment valued different attributes during the customer journey stage. The customer experience analysis using the CX-Q process proposed in this study is expected to help understand customers in more detail and assist in managing and improving customer experience.

In the flow state, people are absorbed in their activities, while irrelevant thoughts and perceptions are screened out. In Csikszentmihalyi's view, the term 'flow' is used in describing the best feeling in human lives. Flow has been conceptualized as an optimal experience that stems from people's perception on challenges and skills in a given situation. We can easily observe that students who are learning from WBI experience flow state occasionally. If we identify the related factors that make flow experiences possible in WBI, the designers and instructors of WBI might be greatly benefitted by having ideas of how to provide optimal flow experiences to their students. In this article, we attempted to analyze what are critical Flow factors in WBI and provided guidelines on how to design optimal flow experiences in WBI.

The original tolerances, which are assigned by designers on the basis of handbooks and experience, cannot always be expected to be optimal or feasible, because they may yield an unacceptable manufacturing costs. So the systematic tolerance design considering manufacturing costs should be done. Therefore, this research analyzes the tolerance within the tolerance design using Monte-Carlo simulation method and sensitivity analysis and using genetic algorithm by tolerance allocation method. The genetic algorithm was developed for allocation of the optimal tolerance under the manufacturing limitation cost.
