The article deals with the role of extra-curricular work by means of multimedia technologies in order to improve the quality of training of future specialists. An important condition for achieving high results in training specialists is the optimal combination of classroom and independent extra-curricular work of students by means of multimedia technologies. Very significant is the development of student independence, the formation of skills of independent search activity, the ability to take responsibility, independently solve a problem, find constructive solutions, a way out of a crisis situation, and so on. Extra-curricular work forms students' ability to master the techniques of analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison; develops flexibility of thinking; opens up opportunities for the development and stabilization of positive learning motives to activate the process of mastering knowledge by means of multimedia technologies as a means of forming the personality of a highly qualified specialist. The concept of multimedia as one of the priority areas of Information Technology, which plays a particularly important role in the process of informatization of education, is revealed, and its advantages in education are shown. The advent of multimedia systems optimizes transformations in education, in many areas of professional activity, science, art, etc. The necessity of distance learning to improve the quality of training of future specialists using multimedia technologies in extra-curricular work is justified. The effectiveness of pedagogical support in the process of distance learning is achieved by the following conditions, which is revealed in the article. Various forms and types of extra-curricular work of students that are used in the modern practice of the educational environment of a higher education institution are described. Scientific and informational activity is considered a key area of information activity. The analysis of scientific and information activities in the field of education allows us to identify its main functions, which emphasize the growing role of scientific information in the education system, in particular, extra-curricular work using multimedia technologies. Operational, complete, accurate, targeted information that meets objective and subjective needs becomes an important link between the field of management, science and practice.
PL has been developed centering around England and America. Recently many countries are introducing PL system changing the world a single economic bloc based on the rapid development of Technology and Economy. This paper is studied with related literatures and theses, organizational consulting cases within the framework of the firm as the central operating bodies of PL system. In the past, Some papers about System Integration which was operated as a same Certificate System and enacted in a single organization, was studied and presented. But most of papers was a theoretical study related model and conception. In this situation Government supports PSMS of a single system at government expense to 100200 companies for improving organizational confrontation ability of PL this year. This paper proposed a design and effect of Integration system model based on the analysis of ISO 9001:2000, KS, PSMS and ISO 14001. The integrated system has the following three distinctions. Firstly, KS is a national establishment, national leading certification and forcing standard. Secondly, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 are an international organization's establishment, nonofficial certification and optional standard. Finally, PSMS isn't a national law and forcing matter. And it isn't the concept of certification but the operational system by itself. Also if a lawsuit by defect is happened, it is very dangerous. This paper, which is integrated by four management systems and has many consulting cases, is the first in this department and is different from others. Also If people has the basic knowledge about management system, they can directly connect it to the organizational system according to this paper's guidance. It is very good result in this study because the law of PL is executed now.

Water flow in rivers during flood season can be 10 to 100 fold higher than normal seasons (low precipitation) in Japan and predicting flood runoff is essential for operating reservoirs with discharging gates. Abundant experiences and knowledge are requisites for operators to be able to make efficient decisions at work. This research investigated a method to transfer technical knowledge by acquiring skills and knowledge from actual dam operators and by using the information to construct an educational training system. The purpose of the research was to enable the execution of a secure and rational reservoir operation during flood period. The educational training system for reservoir operation was developed with the focuses on acquiring knowledge on hydraulics and hydrology and learning about decision making related to the reservoir operation as well as the timing of control. The system is capable of conducting education that corresponds to individual levels in each location. Of the educational training methods, a lecture method that uses textbooks is effective for the understanding of basic knowledge and concepts while a training method that uses a simulation device is essential for the practice of advanced and specialized procedures in specific fields. Simulation devices are used in operational training for airplane flight and driving cars and trains. The educational system presented here was designed to provide further assistance to those who have acquired basic knowledge and concepts through textbooks and also to at low them to perform the satisfactory operation of dam equipment. Our research proposes a method which can realize a system to acquire technical skills-the skills which are the foundation of technical knowledge and operation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate typical ethical problems found in the technical and public services areas. The followings are the summary of the study. There are three distinct elements that govern ethical problems. One element is legal laws. The copyright law and the privacy act are exact examples. The copyright law has strong influence on the inter library loan service where the majority requests from the users are reproduction of copies. The privacy act also creates difficulties for librarians. Most requests for circulation records infringe on the privacy of library user. And advance online access systems also violates the privacy of library users. The second element is the code or rules that private organization has created. American Library Association created many statements that regulate the conduct of librarians. The bill of right, the professional code of ethics and policy on the confidentiality of library records have strong implications in the obligation of librarian. In the case of censorship at the selection of library materials, the code is a defensive tool against intellectual freedom. Yet self-censoring are prevailing practice among librarians. The thirds element is the competence of librarians. The analyzed table 3 showed that beside two elements, the rest of matters are competence required by librarians. The one aspect of it is humaneness and the other one is technical aspects. Technical aspect of competence are:(l) managerial and operational ability (2) communication skill (3) leadership (4) structure of knowledge and (5) self developing professionalism. Humanity aspect of competence are:(l) trust(fiduciary relationship) gained by diligence, objective judgement, ability, belief, rationality, integrity, kindness) (2) objectiveness (free from bias) (3) user-oriented consideration (need, interest, equal treatment, information gap) (4) caution in providing information (5) pride and (6) ability to distinguish advice and guidance specially in medical and law library.
Koreatech has adopted a long-term co-op program called IPP (Industry Professional Practice) to address problems in higher education of Korea since 2012, but it was anticipated to face many difficulties in implementing the program due to lack of relevant experiences in Korea. In this regard, a performance evaluation scheme was urgently required to judge the effectiveness of the Co-op program and improve the operational efficiency at the same time. This study aimed to develop comprehensive performance evaluation criteria for the co-op programs on the basis of Kirkpatrick's four-level performance evaluation model for training programs, and apply it to a real Co-op operation to test its feasibility. For this purpose, thorough review on the training program evaluation literature and in-depth analyses of overseas cases of co-op performance evaluation were conducted. Then, a set of Co-op performance evaluation criteria was developed and applied to the Koreatech's Co-op operation in 2013. Two Co-op student questionnaire surveys were administered before and after Co-op terms to measure students' reactions to the Co-op program (Level 1) and changes in participating students' attitudes and competencies (Level 2). In addition, employment rates of Co-op participating and non-participating students were compared (Level 4). The analysis findings showed that participating students were quite satisfied with their jobs and companies, and the Co-op program was effective to a certain degree at enhancing non-major competencies and attitudes to occupation of students. Together, the employment rate of Co-op participants, particularly in small- and medium-sized companies, grew significantly in comparison with that of non-participants. In the last part, several directions for improving the effectiveness of the Co-op programs were discussed.

This study illustrates and compares the platform strategy of Apple and Samsung, which have been operating their own App stores, by using the $IISI^n$ model. Apple, the first mover of the platform, has employed closed strategy for quality control of the platform and customer loyalty. On the other hand, Samsung has employed open strategy for increasing the platform network effects. The result of this study showed that the platform strategy "Openness", which is a free entry of participants, and "Sharing" of created value, are important along with the excellent platform environment. As a pioneering study of the platform strategy for the co-creation, this research contributes to both theory and practice.
With the convergence of disciplines in progress and Web 2.0 online collaborative environment, online knowledge exchange activities of researchers are increasing. Quickness of acquiring knowledge highly impacts on research productivity in the global era. Online knowledge exchange is critical service for researchers. In this study, knowledge exchange service model was presented from the perspective of activate participation, knowledge quality improvement, quickness of exchanges. A variety of domestic and international knowledge exchange services were analyzed, particularly Korean domestic service KOSEN What is? as for operational practice. It is confirmed that in order to stimulate researcher knowledge exchange the quality of the knowledges exchanged is essential and variety of operating activities are needed such as expert matching systems, enhancement of speed in knowledge exchange, ease of usability, and elements of fun.
Recently the Korean government's green energy growth policy has been taken at the national level due to the sufficient supply of renewable energy. Some specific technique should be taken in consideration for the operation of the grid voltage and power quality management. In this case, there may have some chance of operational problems. Typical problems arise when grid-connected solar power produced by Pacific sunshine. The power flow in the reverse direction can create overvoltage on the distribution line and gives value of malfunction on the system. Line voltage and overvoltage adjustment practice can stop these symptoms occurred. Under these circumstances, this paper presents an interconnection test devices for photovoltaic(PV) systems composed of distribution system simulator, PV system simulator and control and monitoring systems using the LabVIEW S/W, and simulates the customer voltage characteristics considering the 3 parameters on the introduction capacity for PV systems, system configuration and Power factor. This paper also proposes a new calculation algorithm for voltage profile to make comparison between calculation values and test device values. The results show that the simulation results for the normal operation characteristics of PV systems which are very practical and effective.

In late 90s, organizations recognized the information technology as an key enabler of the business strategic accomplishment which lead them heavy increment on IT investment. These organizations tried to hold the competitive advantage by focusing on their core competency. And these acts raise their interests on IT outsourcing. Recent trends of the organizations concern on evaluating the effectiveness of the previous IT investment and the reasonable selection on IT investment type. Also, the objective evaluation of the service level and continuous improvement are major concern of the outsourcer. Consequently, interests on Service Level Agreement (SLA), an immanence operating tool for managing the level of the information system service objectively and qualitatively, were raised among IT outsourcing service providers, outsourcers, and operating departments. Yet, only a few domestic conglomerates adopted the SLA, and exact usage of the SLA is currently unknown. Because of the importance of the SLA between a service provider and an outsourcer, the agreement is treated with high confidentiality. This raised the problems to both the private and public organizations, are considering the SLA, with absence of concrete guide line to internalize SLA management process. This study provides the organizational and environmental factors of the adopting and applying the Service Level Agreement (SLA) by conducting multiple case research. The sampled companies are currently implementing the SLA over 1 year of usage period. Factors were used to provide the operational contribution for implementing the SLA. The study also provides the effects on IT performance through the SLA. For this, in depth interview was conducted for each sampled company. As a result, if SLA between outsourcer and service provider can be used as an immanence operation tool and actively implemented, SLA will be an strategic tool for various decision making in IT management practice with long term relationship, better shared partnership, and continuous service improvement.
Internal Control(IC) comprises the plan of organization and all of the coordinating methods and measures adopted in a business to safeguard its assets, check the accuracy and reliability of its accounting data, promote operational efficiency and encourage adherence to the prescribed managerial policies. If an organization's IC is not adequate, Accounting Information System (AIS) will be vulnerable to accomplish the organizations successes. Therefore, an effective and efficient IC is essential to its successes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of EDP IC on the perceived usefulness of AIS. Do the general controls indirectively affect to the usefulness of AIS through th application controls? To solve these problems, a research model and a set of hypotheses were established and empirically tested. 60 financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, security companies) agreed to participate in the study. Data were gathered through structured interviews with 60 information systems managers and 537 users of accounting information of each company. Survey forms were designed and collected from financial institutions in Seoul. Information systems' managers of financial institutions responded to questionnaire(1) which consists of a series of 70 questions related to practice and perceived importance. Questionnaire (2) was received from 537 users, who responded to series of 17 questions related to the perceived usefulness. The results of analysis are summarized below. Effects of general controls are more direct on AIS's usefulness than those of application controls. Whereas, indirect effects of application controls are geater than those of general controls. Therefore, the greater the effects of application controls on general controls, the higher the perceived usefulness of AIS. In conclusion, this study supports that the perceived usefulness of AIS is affected by IC which are composed of general controls and application controls. The results of this study has significant implication to financial institution as computer fraud potential increases. Because of global competitions, financial institutions should restructure to IC and AIS in order to take advantage of the technological progress in Information System.
