정부주도형 및 민간주도형 푸드뱅크(Food Bank) 사업의 운영 형태 및 특성 분석 (Analysis on the Characteristics of Government-dominant and Non-governmental Food Bank Programs from the Operators' Perspective)

  • The objectives of this study were to: (a) examine the overall operating conditions of both government-dominant and non-governmental food bank programs, (b) understand the operational management attributes on the target based on IPA (importance performance analysis) (c) analyze the present status of donating management, and (d) suggest a direction based on the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of food banks in each part. The random samples of 120 food bank operators were selected by a proportionate stratified random sampling method. A total of 60 government-dominant food banks and 25 non-governmental food banks were analyzed. The main results of this study were as follows: Accord-ing to the Importance-Performance Analysis of operational management, 'assistance for operating funds' and 'deployment of experience staff' were placed at 'Focus Here'. There was a great shortage of experienced staff with food bank-specific knowledge. The average number of the government-dominant and non-governmental food bank program employees was 0.29 and 0.30 respectively, while the ratios of employees with other jobs were 0.96 and 0.83 respectively. Shortages of refrigeration facilities were an area that needs to be addressed. While 51.6% of donated food required cold storage, only 45% of government-dominant and 60% of non-governmental food bank programs had refrigeration facilities. Most of food bank operators (96.3%) were required to visit the donators' locations to pick up the donated foods. And the foods were distributed to the people in need, especially to the livelihood protectee.

  • U.S. Air Force Regulation 80-1 defines that a weapon system is composed of equipments, skills, and techniques, the composite of which ferns an instrument of combat. The complete weapon system includes all related facilities, equipments, materials, services, and personnels required for the operation of the system, so that the instrument of combat can be considered as a self-sufficient unit of striking power in its intended operational environment. Effectiveness of a weapon system can be expressed as a function of its liability, reliability and performance capability. Among these attributes which influence the weapon effectiveness, performance capability is considered to be the most critical factor for many weapon systems. In order to illustrate the application of the methodology of performance capability, a specific ease study on the effectiveness of Vulcan anti-air craft gun system is presented with special emphasis on hitting probability on moving targets, effects of artificial rounds dispersion, and several principles related to the deployment of the system. This thesis includes the thorough survey of the possibility of calculating the absolute value of hitting probability on moving targets, indicates that the effects of artificial rounds dispersion increase the value of probability only when the total number of rounds fired within fire range exceeds a certain critical number, and suggests that concentrated guns deployment is better than scattered deployment in order to obtain higher probability and lower average amount of rounds if it is assumed that the effects of counter-attack from enemy threats are not serious.

  • 많은 관련연구들이 개별이용자들의 주제적, 비주제적 정보요구가 반영된 이용자지향 색인의 중요성을 강조하였지만, 실제 상용되고 있는 많은 검색시스템은 이러한 이용자들의 다양한 요구를 지원하기보다는 주제적 속성과 관련된 탐색만을 효과적으로 지원하고 있다. 대통령이미지 검색 컬렉션도 이에 해당된다. 이에 본 연구는 한국의 주요 대통령 사진 기록물을 대상으로 다양한 영역의 잠재적 이용자들이 제시한 기술어들을 조사하여 색인어 다양화를 위한 접근점의 다원화를 모색하고 있다. 이는 대통령기록물의 경우 다양한 이용자 그룹에 의한 활용이 강조되어온바, 이러한 다양성에 부합하는 연구라는 점에 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 식별된 기술어들을 토대로 본 연구는 주제어중심으로 구성된 대통령이미지 컬렉션의 기술어군에 대한 개선점을 제안하였다. 제안점은 전공영역을 감안한 기술어채택의 다양화와 이를 활용하기 위한 인터페이스구성과 관련된다.

  • Due to the lack of navigable airspace caused by worldwide air traffic increases, air traffic control(ATC) services are becoming more complex, which results in the increase of aircraft accidents. To cope with these challenges, major aviation institutes abroad are actively conducting research regarding the human factors affecting controllers but as of late, no such specialized activities have been found in Korea. Due to the dynamic attributes of ATC operations, management of controller's situation awareness(SA) and workload, and knowledge on the impact of abnormal aircraft to controllers are very important. Furthermore, using actual flight data of each country will lead to valuable results, because individually, it has different airspace characteristics and air traffic volumes. This study assumed that air traffic difficulties would affect the controller's SA and workload. To testify the above hypothesis, the abnormal air traffic situations are simulated by using ATC simulator. The findings indicated that the effect of traffic situations containing abnormal aircraft on the controller's SA and workload, it led to demand increase and supply decrease in SA, and increased mental demand, temporal demand, effort and mean workload score in the workload.

Aqueous phase removal of ofloxacin using adsorbents from Moringa oleifera pod husks

  • Chemically activated and carbonized adsorbents were prepared from Moringa oleifera pod husks (MOP), characterized and evaluated for their ability to remove a common antibiotic - ofloxacin (OFX) from aqueous solution. The pulverized precursor was steeped in a saturated ammonium chloride solution for a day to give the chemically activated adsorbent (AMOP). A portion of AMOP was pyrolyzed in a muffle furnace at 623 K for 30 min to furnish its carbonized analogue (CMOP). The adsorbents showed favorable physicochemical attributes. The effects of operational parameters such as initial OFX solution pH and concentration, adsorbent dosage, temperature and contact time on OFX removal were investigated. At equilibrium, optimal removal efficiencies of 90.98% and 99.84% were achieved at solution pH 5 for AMOP and CMOP, respectively. The equilibrium adsorption data fitted into both the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. Gibbs free energy change (${\Delta}G^o$), enthalpy change (${\Delta}H^o$) and entropy change (${\Delta}S^o$) indicated that the adsorption of OFX was feasible, spontaneous, exothermic and occurred via the physisorption mode. Adsorption kinetics obeyed the Blanchard pseudo-second-order model. The results may find applications in the adsorptive removal of micro-contaminants of pharmaceutical origin from wastewater.

금속 산화물 가스 센서의 광 활성화 센싱 메커니즘 (Light-activated mechanism for metal oxide gas sensors)

  • Light-activated metal oxide gas sensors have been investigated in recent decades. Light illumination enhances the sensing attributes, including the operational temperature, sensitivity, and selectivity. Unfortunately, high operating temperature is a major problem for gas sensors because of the huge energy consumption. Therefore, the importance of light-activated room-temperature sensing has increased. This paper reviews recent light-activated sensors and their sensing mechanisms with a specific focus on metal oxide gas sensors. Studies use the outstanding ZnO and SnO2 sensors to research photoactivation when illuminated by various sources such as ultraviolet (UV), halogen lamp, or monochromatic light. Photon induction generates electron-hole pairs that increase the number of adsorption sites of gas molecules and ions improving the sensor's sensing properties.

항공안전 데이터를 이용한 항공기 공중충돌위험식별 모형 검증 및 고도화 (Validation of Mid Air Collision Detection Model using Aviation Safety Data)

  • In case of South Korea, the airspace which airlines can operate is extremely limited due to the military operational area located within the Incheon flight information region. As a result, safety problems such as mid-air collision between aircraft or Traffic alert and Collision Avoidance System Resolution Advisory (TCAS RA) may occur with higher probability than in wider airspace. In order to prevent such safety problems, an mid-air collision risk detection model based on Detect-And-Avoid (DAA) well clear metrics is investigated. The model calculates the risk of mid-air collision between aircraft using aircraft trajectory data. In this paper, the practical use of DAA well clear metrics based model has been validated. Aviation safety data such as aviation safety mandatory report and Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast is used to measure the performance of the model. The attributes of individual aircraft track data is analyzed to correct the threshold of each parameter of the model.

간호전문직에서의 역할의 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of the Role in Nursing Profession)

  • Purpose : Nursing profession has been rapidly changed due to the development of bioscience and the change of medical service environment. Nursing profession that has been focused on only care giver's role like mother's in tradition, is required careful reflection new nursing role to cope properly to the change of medical service environment. In nursing profession, the concept of the role was used without an accurate definition, as a results, the concept of the role was mixed with the concept of the "activity", "job" and "function". Therefore, concept analysis of the role in nursing profession is needed to remove conceptual ambiguous and make confirm the true meaning of the role. Concept analysis is a strategy that examine the characteristics of a concept. It is a formal linguistic exercise to determine those defining attributes. The basic purpose of concept analysis is to clarify ambiguous concept in theory, and propose operational definition which reflects the theoretical base of the concept. Method : In this study, the concept of the role in nursing profession which was analyzed based on the steps of concept analysis by Walker & Avant(1988). Results : The attributes of the concept of the role in nursing profession are : 1. Basic factors to construct social structure. 2. Expected attitudes, values, behavior patterns according to the social status and position in social structure. 3. Perceptive attitudes, values, behavior patterns in order to social interaction. 4. Acquiring through continuous communication and learning. 5. Not fixative but changeable. The antecedents of the role in nursing profession are : 1. The social status and position which is possessed by a person. 2. Expected attitudes, values, behavior patterns according to the social status and position in social structure. 3. Acquiring through continuous interaction, communication, and learning process. And the consequences of the role in nursing profession are : 1. The role maintenance and the role expansion as a positive consequences. 2. The role conflict and the role loss as a negative consequences. Conclusion : Through this concept analysis, the concept of the role in nursing profession is defined as As basic factors to construct social structure, person's attitudes, values, behavior patterns which are expected from other social members according to person's social status and position, and perceived and acquired through continuous interaction, communication, and leaning process.

온라인 상품검색사이트의 이용후기 특성과 친숙성이 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Online Product Reviews Attributes and Site Familiarity on Consumers' Loyalty in Online Product Searching Site)

  • 최근 온라인 상품검색기능을 제공하는 여러 사이트에서는 단순하게 특정상품을 검색하거나 신제품에 대한 소개 및 검색 기능뿐만 아니라 가격별 정렬, 제조사별 정렬, 출시일별 정렬 기능을 통해 상품을 판매하는 인터넷 쇼핑몰 사이트로의 연결기능과 함께 상품에 대한 주요 기능설명과 이용자들의 구매후기 등과 같은 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있어, 온라인 쇼핑을 즐기는 소비자들에게 구매를 위한 준거점으로서 양질의 정보를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 온라인 상품 검색사이트에서 제공하는 이용후기의 역할을 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 온라인 상품검색사이트의 이용후기 특성으로 정보제공성과 유용성을 각각 설정하고, 온라인 상품검색사이트의 친숙성과 함께 사이트 신뢰, 만족, 충성도에 미치는 영향력 과정을 확인하기 위해 8개의 연구가설을 설정하였으며, 175명으로부터 자료를 수집, 이를 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 검증하였다. 그 결과 친숙성과 이용후기의 정보제공성, 유용성 등이 사이트 신뢰, 만족을 경유하여 충성도에 유의적인 영향력을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 온라인 상품검색사이트 이용자의 충성도를 높이기 위해서는 사이트 친숙성을 높이는 전략, 제공되는 이용후기의 정보제공성을 높이고 유용성을 높이기 위한 운영전략의 마련이 필요하다 하겠다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과들이 향후 온라인 상품검색사이트를 운영하는 기업에게 많은 도움이 되었으면 한다.

국립중앙박물관 소장 '신축명 조총(辛丑銘鳥銃)'연구 - 속성 분석과 운용 시기 추정을 중심으로 - (A Study of the 'Sinchungmyeong Jochong(辛丑銘鳥銃)' at the National Museum of Korea - Attribute analysis and point of use estimation -)

  • 국립중앙박물관 소장 신축명 조총은 국내 유일의 묵서명('辛丑改備江華庫藏') 조총이다. 이 명문으로 인해 조총이 격납된 장소를 알 수 있으며, 격납된 시점도 추정할 수 있다. 또한 이 조총은 상태가 매우 양호하고 조형미도 있는 귀중한 유물이다. 그러나 신축명 조총의 운용 시기와 형태·구조적 특징에 대한 연구는 미진하였다. 이번 연구는 신축명 조총의 운용 시기와 제작 주체, 형태·구조적 특징을 밝히고자 했다. 이를 위해 신축명 조총의 제원과 구조적 특징을 살피고, 현존하는 조총 17점과 속성을 비교 검토했다. 그 결과 신축명 조총이 전형적인 조선시대 조총임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이어서 조총에 남은 명문을 바탕으로 신축년 조총의 강화 격납 시기와 배경, 그리고 제작 주체를 추적했다. 그 결과 1781년 신축년(정조 5) 12월에 조총을 포함한 대량의 군수물자가 강화도에 입고된 기록을 『정조실록』에서 찾을 수 있었다. 강화도 입고의 배경은 군사적으로 강화도를 중시하던 조선 왕실의 인식과 통어영의 이전 및 진무영과의 통합에 따른 것으로 보았다. 강화도 입고 이후 조총은 진무영에서 운용했을 것으로 보았다. 조총의 제작은 군기시에서 이뤄졌을 것으로 보았다. 종합하면 신축명 조총은 전형적인 조선시대 조총이며, 강화도 격납 시기는 1781년 12월일 가능성이 높다. 제작은 군기시와 관련이 있어 보인다. 입고된 후에는 진무영에서 운용했을 것으로 보인다.
