The future warfare will universalize the operation of a combined weapon system that utilizes this technology and create an operational environment that is centered on a network requiring a high level of interoperability between combat elements as well as a high level of operation speed. In this kind of operational environment, future combat will take on the aspects of network centric warfare, which is capable of realizing a real-time sensor to shooter cycle by horizontally connecting operation elements. Therefore, the study attempts to draw out a Korean measurement plan concerning battlefield environment changes in the future by investigating and analyzing all problems occurring during the mass acquisition and processing of battlefield information in battlefield situations of network centric warfare currently conducted by the US military in Afghanistan and Iraq.

This paper considers a scheduling problem in a flexible job shop with a reconfigurable manufacturing cell. The flexible job shop has both operation and routing flexibilities, which can be represented in the form of a multiple process plan, i.e. each part can be processed through alternative operations, each of which can be processed on alternative machines. The scheduling problem has three decision variables: (a) selecting operation/machine pairs for each part; (b) sequencing of parts to be fed into the reconfigurable manufacturing cell; and (c) sequencing of the parts assigned to each machine. Due to the reconfigurable manufacturing cell's ability of adjusting the capacity, functionality and flexibility to the desired levels, the priority scheduling approach is proposed in which the three decisions are made at the same time by combining operation/machine selection rules, input sequencing rules and part sequencing rules. To show the performances of various rule combinations, simulation experiments were done on various instances generated randomly using the experiences of the manufacturing experts, and the results are reported for the objectives of minimizing makespan, mean flow time and mean tardiness, respectively.

Recently, coal-fired power plants are experiencing many problems that they have never experienced before due to an increase in flexible operation. In particular, a two-phase flow accelerated corrosion on water wall tubes in a boiler has not been detected overseas or domestically. There is no response plan to deal with such corrosion problem either. However, oxide film damage and tube material corrosion due to a two-phase flow accelerated corrosion are being discovered on water wall boiler tubes of domestic coal-fired power plants recently. If this situation is severe, it can cause enormous damage such as tube rupture. Therefore, in this paper, in order to prepare a response plan for a two-phase flow accelerated corrosion on water wall tubes in the future, differences between a two-phase flow accelerated corrosion and a single-phase flow accelerated corrosion were investigated and an example of discovery of a two-phase flow accelerated corrosion on water wall tubes was presented.

This study describes the consideration of environmental impact in the preliminary environment investigation and EIA of railroad work. In the stage of preliminary environment investigation, it is important to choose the railroad line and location which minimizes the environmental impact due to the operation of railroad work, and EIA includes the prediction and reduction plan of environmental impact according to the construction and management of railroad.

Recently, enterprises have focused on quality improvement for delighting their customers. Especially, all business sector have checked, analyzed their consumer complaints in detail on their products and made a plan to reduce them. But there is a limitation not to solve them. This paper presents one of tools to reduce non qualified product on their operation line directly by modernized IT technology after analyzing and making the plan.

Interoperability in the BIM construction information is the information management technology, which allows user to control and effectively use construction's lots of information that occur and disappear through construction life cycle. yongdam multipurpose is under construction to divert a part fo Geum riverlfow to Mankyung watershed and to supply the domestic water to the Chunju region and produce the hydro-electricity. Generally construction of dam by the method of inther-region water transfer affects the quantity and quality of water inthe down streams and reservoirs. The impact of operation plan of Yondgam dam on the quantity and quality of water in the Guem river and Daechung dam was investigated .It was recommended that the discharge of water transfer from one watershed to another should be minimized as much as possible.

This paper presented the development plan of voltage security on-line monitoring system (VSECOMs). VSECOMs consists of voltage security monitoring system and data management system. VSECOMs has the function of bus voltage watch. voltage stability analysis, and voltage security assessment. EMS data on-line acquisition, PSS/E file conversion, and overall data management. VSECOMs is designed with client/server structure. We will seek stable operation of KEPCO's power system by installation of VSECOMs in EMS of KEPCO.

In this study, the medical library in the hospital was investigated on the overall operation status of the service target, books, facilities, environment, staff, service, etc., and the librarian in question conducted a demand survey and recognition survey of the library, and proposed a plan to activate the medical library in the hospital in the future. As a result, first, to increase the status of the library by the medical library in the hospital performing its role and improving the quality of the library's service, it should be divided into the independent organization in the organization. Second, it is necessary to establish legal standards for collection, size, and manpower for medical libraries in hospitals. Third, in order to systematically manage medical libraries in hospitals, professional librarians should be supported and personnel should be recruited so that library-specific tasks and administrative tasks can be distinguished. Fourth, it seems that policies to support the medical library in the hospital, such as budget support at the national level, librarian specialization education, development of operation guidelines, network activation with other libraries are needed.
