  • This paper describes the control method in order that output current of a voltage source inverter tracks reference sinusoidal current so that its harmonic current components are reduced. Operating character of this inverter is analyzed with normalized values of parameter. And the method that apply multilayed feedfoeward neural networks, which play excellent steady state operation in control system, to inverter control system and training method are presented. Then, the output current of inverter which is driven by the proposed method. is considered throughout computer simulation and safe operating range of inverter parameter is resented.

  • The states of control loops in existing actual systems are changed according to time varying conditions of controllest process and other system components. Adjusting control parameters properly at site which is performed generally by Ziegler & Nichols mthod is important for safe and efficient operation, but the method may require much time to adjust and not easy to inexperienced engineers. This study is aimed to propose more handy method to adjust control parameters by plotting operating conditions on the space of adjusting parameters. One loop of model control system without perturbation condition has been adopted and its stability limit was plotted on the coordinates of Gain and Integral time which was acquired after analyzing Nyquist diagrams and time domain responses. The result showed that the sets of adjusting parameters according to critical stability and proper stability could be acquired reasonably through both responses and the curves on parameter space revealed available patterns for the purpose of easy maintenance of control characteristics.

진공관형 태양열 집열기의 열성능 해석 (An Analysis of the Thermal Performance of the Glass Evacuated Tube Solar Collector)

  • The thermal performance of the glass evacuated tube solar collector is numerically investigated. The glass evacuated tube solar collector consists of a two-layed glass tube, a copper tube, and the working fluid. The length and the diameter of the glass tube are 1,200mm and 38mm, respectively. The diameter, thickness, and length of the copper tube and the flow rate of air are considered as the important design and operating parameters of the collector. The effect of these parameters on the thermal performance of the collector are investigated. The results show that as the diameter, the thickness, and the length of the copper tube increase and the flow rate of the air decreases, the thermal performance and the outlet mean temperature increase.

  • It is essential to operate chemical lasers with supersonic ejector system as the laser output power goes up. In this research, ejector design parameter study was carried out for optimal ejector design through understanding the ejector characteristics and design requirements for chemical lasers operating. Designed ejector was 3D annular type with 2$^{nd}$ -throat geometry and pressurized air was used for primary flow. Ejector design was carried out with two steps, quasi-1D gas dynamics was used for first design and commercial code was used to verify the first design. In this study, to get the effect of ejector geometry on its performance, three cases of primary nozzle area ratio and 2$^{nd}$ -throat cross sectional area and two cases of 2$^{nd}$ -throat L/D ratio experiments were carried out. Primary and secondary pressures were measured to get the mass flow rate ratio, minimum secondary pressure, ejector starting pressure and unstarting pressure at every case. In the result, better performance than design level was shown and optimal ejector design method for chemical lasers was obtained.

비선형 불확실성을 갖는 내연기관의 강인한 토크제어 (Robust Torque Control for an Internal Combustion Engine with Nonlinear Uncertainty)

  • If an internal combustion engine is operated by consolidated control, the minimum fuel consumption is achieved satisfying the demanded objectives. For this, it is necessary that the engine is operated on the ideal operating line which satisfies minimum fuel consumption. In this context of view, there are many tries to achieve given object. However, the parameter in the internal combustion engines are variable and depend on the operating points. Therefore, it is necessary to cope with the uncertainties such that the optimal operating may be possible. From this point of view, this paper gives a controller design method and a robust stability condition for engine torque control which satisfies the given control performance and robust stability in the presence of physical parameter perturbation. Exactly, the present paper considers a robust stability of this 2DOF servosystem with nonlinear type uncertainty in the engine system, and a robust stability condition for the servosystem is introduced. This result guarantees that if the plant uncertainty is in the permissible set defined by the given condition then a gain tuning can be carried out to suppress the influence of the plant uncertainties.

적외선 검출기를 위한 액체 질소 온도 동작 밴드갭 기준회로의 설계

  • 적외선 소자로부터 생성되는 신호와의 비교에 의한 잡음 특성의 향상, 즉 좋은 영상을 얻기 위해서 적외선 영상신호 취득회로(ROIC)에서는 안정적인 기준 전압원이 필요하다. 본 논문은 극저온인 77K에서 동작하는 적외선 영상신호 취득회로(readout integrated circuit)를 위한 밴드갭 기준회로에 대해서 제안하고 있다. 기본에 발표된 대부분의 밴드갭 기준회로는 실온에서 동작하는 것이며, 액체질소 온도 77K에서 동작하는 적외선 영상 ROIC에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 극저온에서 동작하는 밴드갭 기준회로 설계를 위하여, 온도변화에 따른 사용되는 소자들의 parameter에 대한 특성을 살펴본 후, 이러한 특성들을 고려하여 밴드갭 기준 회로를 제안하였으며 이것은 그 실용 가능성을 입증하고 있다.

시뮬레이션을 활용한 편도 카쉐어링 시스템의 최적 운영 조건 및 차량 재배치 알고리즘에 대한 연구 (Simulation of One-way Carsharing Systems : Operating Parameters and Relocation Policy Analysis)

  • The concept of carsharing involves sharing a small number of reserved cars to be used individually by a larger number of people as required. This study examines the operating parameters of one-way carsharing systems in order to determine the appropriate operating conditions that minimizes the lost sales rate. Five operating parameters are tested in this study: the number of stations, the average number of vehicles per station, the rate of one-way trip, the average number of staffs per station, and the relocation policy. The performance of round-trip carsharing systems is also compared to that of one-way carsharing systems. A simulation model is developed and simulations are performed to determine the appropriate combination of operating parameter and levels. The simulation results show that the average number of vehicles per station is the most critical parameter. Other key findings obtained from this research are as follows. First, applying the appropriate relocation policy to one-way carsharing systems can allow more customers to rent vehicles than the traditional round-trip carsharing systems. Second, the appropriate relocation policy should be selected based on the average number of vehicles per station in order to minimize the lost sales rate. Third, the number of stations does not affect the lost sales rate. This study findings will provide tools to understand impact of the carsharing system parameters on the efficiency of the carsharing operations.

음이온 교환막 알칼리 수전해를 위한 운전 조건 및 구성요소의 최적화 (Optimization of Operating Parameters and Components for Water Electrolysis Using Anion Exchange Membrane)

  • The hydrogen has been recognized as a clean, nonpolluting and unlimited energy source that can solve fossil fuel depletion and environmental pollution problems at the same time. Water electrolysis has been the most attractive technology in a way to produce hydrogen because it does not emit any pollutants compared to other method such as natural gas steam reforming and coal gasification etc. In order to improve efficiency and durability of the water electrolysis, comprehensive studies for highly active and stable electrocatalysts have been performed. The platinum group metal (PGM; Pt, Ru, Pd, Rh, etc.) electrocatalysts indicated a higher activity and stability compared with other transition metals in harsh condition such as acid solution. It is necessary to develop inexpensive non-noble metal catalysts such as transition metal oxides because the PGM catalysts is expensive materials with insufficient it's reserves. The optimization of operating parameter and the components is also important factor to develop an efficient water electrolysis cell. In this study, we optimized the operating parameter and components such as the type of AEM and density of gas diffusion layer (GDL) and the temperature/concentration of the electrolyte solution for the anion exchange membrane water electrolysis cell (AEMWEC) with the transition metal oxide alloy anode and cathode electrocatalysts. The maximum current density was $345.8mA/cm^2$ with parameter and component optimization.

  • Database system parameter tuning is one of database system tuning that achieve to improve performance of database system with application program tuning and data model tuning. By parameter tuning adjusts value of entry that is staled in data dictionary's parameter file that is included to database system, it is thing which make relevant database system can display performance of most suitable. And, it is that achievement is one o( possible tuning method immediately without occurrence of additional expense or involved hardware for database system performance elevation and ashes composition of software. But, it is actuality that administration about parameter practical use is not achieved, and is using Default Value of parameter that database management system offers just as it is systematically. So, this paper presents parameter tuning process that can :achieve Parameter tuning of database system that is operating present systematically, and parameter tuning process each activity important input urea and tuning achievement product. And explain about effect and result that happen by sort database system performance and parameters that it is affinity systematically, and grasp relationships between parameter, and change parameter of string database system. And not that parameter uses contents that specify by fixing when establish database administration system, is going to emphasize and explain that must utilize changing continuously during database system operation. It changes parameter entry value how in various kinds different operation environment and present if must apply, and will arrange effect that this parameter enoy value alteration gets in performance liking into account point that is actuality that is using parameter that define database administrators when install the database system just as it is continually without alteration.
