This experiment was conducted to explore the cultural method capable of raising of picked cotton ratio and more high-yielding in the middle part of Korea where growth period of cotton is short. By early vinyl-mulching culture, emergence date was earlier, flowering and boll opening were shorter than non-mulching, especially boll opening date was earlier about 8 to 15 days. Plant height was longer by vinyl-mulching, fruiting branches and number of bolls per plant at vinyl-mulching of the 10th April produced more twice than non-mulching of the 10th May. Picked cotton ratio was 79% at non-mulching of the 10th May, while viny-mulching of the 10th April produced most of picked cotton as picked cotton ratio 99%. At vinyl-mulching of the 10th April, lint yield increased more 76-90% than non-mulching. Staple length was some longer and also content of linolenic acid of cotton seed oil was higher than non-mulching.
The purpose of this article is to study on the Daesoon Cosmology of the Correlative Relation between Mugeuk and Taegeuk. Daesoon cosmology is a cosmology based on the juxtaposition between the Gucheon Sangje and the world. In this article, I would like to say that this theory in Daesoon Thought was developed in three stages: the phase of the Mugeuk Transcendence of Gucheon Sangje, the stage of the Taegeuk Immanence, and the phase of the Grand Opening of the Later World between Mugeuk and Taegeuk as a correlative gentle reign. First of all, the phase of the Mugeuk Transcendence of Gucheon Sangje has been revealed as a yin-yang relationship. The stage of the Taegeuk Immanence represents the togetherness of harmony and co-prosperity between yin and yang, and the phase of the Grand Opening of the Later World between Mukeuk and Taegeuk refers to the unshakable accomplishment of its character and energy. It will be said that this is due to the practical mechanism in the correct balance of yin-yang making a four stage cycle of birth, growth, harvest, and storage. In addition, the Daesoon stage of the settlement of yin and yang is revealed as a change in the growth of all things and the formation of the inner circle. The mental growth reveals the characteristics of everything in the world, each trying to shine at the height of their own respective life as they grow up energetically. The dominant culture of cerebral communion renders a soft and elegant mood and combines yin and yang to elevate the heavenly and earthly period through transcendental change into sympathetic understanding. The stage of the Grand Opening of the Later World between Mugeuk and Taegeuk is one of the earliest days of the lunar month and also the inner circle of Taegeuk. It is in line with Ken Wilbur's integrated model as a step to the true degrees to develop into a world with brightened degrees. It is a beautiful and peaceful scene where celestial maidens play music, the firewood burns, and the scholars command thunder and lightning playfully. Human beings achieve a state of happiness as a free beings who lives as gods upon the earth. This is the world of theGrand Opening of the Later World between Mugeuk and Taegeuk. Daesoon Thought was succeeded by Dojeon in 1958, when Dojeon emerged as the successor in the lineage of religious orthodoxy and was assigned the task of handling Dao in its entirety. In addition, Daesoon is a circle and represents freedom and commonly shared happiness among the populous. Cosmology in the Daesoon Thought will enable us to understand deep dimensions and the identity of members as individuals within an inner circle of correlation between transcendence and immanence. This present study tries to analyze the public effects philologically and also the mutual correlation by utilizing the truthfulness of literature and rational interpretation. The outlook for the future in Daesoon Thought also leads to the one-way communication of Daesoon as a circle.
This study was carried out to analyze the operation of the sluice gates by taking Sabkyo Reservoir as the model, and to examine the formulae of the design criteria for the Agricultural Land Improvement Project by hydraulic model experiments. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. According to the records of gate operation for 9 years, the mean height of the opened gates was 4.13 m, the mean number of operated gates were 4.04, the average annual number of operation were 67 times, the average annual operating time were 192.5 hours, and the average operating time were 2.88 hours. 2. The water supplied through Sabkyo Reservoir was 88.15 megatons per year, which was about 1.4 times the effective storage capacity. And the annual volume of pumping in May, which is the most water demanding season, was 29.56 megatons in average. 3. As the submerged orifice was transformed into the surface orifice, the suggested formulae for the orifice flow on the design criteria for the Agricultural Land Improvement Project showed a discontinuous line on the transition zone. It should be improved, because it is different from the real hydraulic phenomena. 4. The formulae for the orifice flow which are divided into the submerged and surface orifices are being used. However, these formulae could be substituted for the formular, $q=C{\cdot}W\sqrt{2gH_1}$, if the discharge coefficient considering the reservoir water level, the sea water level, and the gate opening height is used.
Purpose: In protected crop production facilities such as greenhouse and plant factory, farmers should be present and/or visit frequently to the production site for maintaining optimum environmental conditions and better production, which is time and labor consuming. Monitoring of environmental condition is highly important for optimum control of the conditions, and the condition is not uniform within the facility. Objectives of the paper were to investigate spatial and vertical variability in ambient environmental variables and to provide useful information for sensing and control of the environments. Methods: Experiments were conducted in a strawberry-growing greenhouse (greenhouse 1) and a cherry tomato-growing greenhouse (greenhouse 2). Selected ambient environmental variables for experiment in greenhouse 1 were air temperature and humidity, and in greenhouse 2, they were air temperature, humidity, PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density), and $CO_2$ concentration. Results: Considerable spatial, vertical, and temporal variability of the ambient environments were observed. In greenhouse 1, overall temperature increased from 12:00 to 14:00 and increased after that, while RH increased continuously during the experiments. Differences between the maximum and minimum temperature and RH values were greater when one of the side windows were open than those when both of the windows were closed. The location and height of the maximum and minimum measurements were also different. In greenhouse 2, differences between the maximum and minimum air temperatures at noon and sunset were greater when both windows were open. The maximum PPFD were observed at a 3-m height, close to the lighting source, and $CO_2$ concentration in the crop growing regions. Conclusions: In this study, spatial, vertical, and temporal variability of ambient crop growing conditions in greenhouses was evaluated. And also the variability was affected by operation conditions such as window opening and heating. Results of the study would provide information for optimum monitoring and control of ambient greenhouse environments.
Silicon carbide (SiC) is a promising material for power device applications due to its wide band gap (3.26 eV for 4H-SiC), high critical electric field and excellent thermal conductivity. The Schottky barrier diode is the representative high-power device that is currently available commercially. A field plate edge-terminated 4H-SiC was fabricated using a lift-off process for opening the Schottky contacts. In this case, Ni/Ti dual-metal contacts were unintentionally formed at the edge of the Schottky contacts and resulted in the degradation of the electrical properties of the diodes. The breakdown voltage and Schottky barrier height (SBH, ${\Phi}_B$) was 107 V and 0.67 eV, respectively. To form homogeneous single-metal Ni/4H-SiC Schottky contacts, a deposition and etching method was employed, and the electrical properties of the diodes were improved. The modified SBDs showed enhanced electrical properties, as witnessed by a breakdown voltage of 635 V, a Schottky barrier height of ${\Phi}_B$=1.48 eV, an ideality factor of n=1.04 (close to one), a forward voltage drop of $V_F$=1.6 V, a specific on resistance of $R_{on}=2.1m{\Omega}-cm^2$ and a power loss of $P_L=79.6Wcm^{-2}$.

This study examined effects of the wall thermal conductivity coefficients on the thermal fluid phenomenon of a compartment fire. The reduced scale compartment was 0.4 m in width, 0.6 m in length and 0.6 m in height with a fire-board, which has a thermal conductivity coefficient of $0.18W/m{\cdot}K$. The local temperature at a 0.37 m height and the overall heat release rate were measured under the following experiment conditions: a $0.12m^2$ opening area and $0.01m^2$ pool size of a gasoline fire. The numerical results obtained by the Fire Dynamic Simulation were compared with the experimentally measured temperature. The deviations were within 10 % in the period of the steady state for maximum heat release rate (4.8 kW). The numerical results show that the average temperature of the compartment wall decreases by approximately 71 % with increasing thermal conductivity coefficient from $0.1W/m{\cdot}K$ to $100.0W/m{\cdot}K$ on the fixed heat release rate.

Food productivity in North Korea is about 50% lower than in South Korea. In order to increase the productivity of major crops, it is necessary to develop early maturing, disease resistance, and high-yielding varieties and apply them early. Since the late 1990s, North Korea has been actively developing potatoes, rice and com as major food crops, and soybeans are considered important as a protein-supplying crop. Domestic cultivated varieties, which are expected to be most adaptable eco-climatologically, are mainly selected from soil with high nutrient soil. It is necessary to test separately for adaptability in low organic soil. So it is very necessary to apply technology to improve soil improvement through rotational crop selection in the middle and long-term. Therefore, this study was conducted to test the adaptability to low organic soils of domestic cultivars and to select varieties. In 2021 there are twenty two (22) varieties of soybeans were grown in low organic soil at the field of Chungbuk National University. This year twenty two (22) varieties of soybeans were also grown in low organic soil at the field of Chungbuk National University. Sowing was done on June 10, the planting distance was 70cm × 15cm, after opening the cotyledons fully, the soybeans were thinned and leaving two plants per hole. In addition, various types of growth characteristics and quantitative components were investigated to evaluate the adaptability to low organic soil of domestic varieties. This study was conducted to investigate the growth characteristics and quantitative components of soybean varieties grown in low organic soil. The flowering period of 22 varieties of soybeans was about 14 days from July 22 to August 4. The flowers of the beans were white, purple, light purple and the pubescence color was gray and brown where most of them were gray. The highest plant height was up to 130.4 cm and lowest was 20.3 cm, highest stem length was up to 119.5 cm and lowest was 15.3 cm. Highest first pod height (FPH) was up to 34.0 cm and lowest was 3.0 cm. Highest stem diameter was up to 15.76mm and lowest was 1.76 mm. Number of main stem nodes was up to 19 and at least 1. Number of branch was up to 10 and at least 0. The number of pod per plant was up to 121. Bacterial pustule has been spread in soybean field.
HEC-RAS has been applied to simulate water level variation in the Ara waterway during the flood season. To support decision making necessary for operation of the hydraulic structures especially during the flood season, it is important to consider various factors such as water level of the Han River, Gulpo River, and tidal level of the west sea in conjunction with operation of the hydraulic structures such as the Gyulhyun Weir, the West sea gate, and pumping stations. Especially for operation of the west sea gate, the Rule-script option was employed to determine the opening height considering the variation of the water level in the waterway and the west sea simultaneously. For model verification, comparison of water level computed at the upstream and downstream of the regulation weir shows a good agreement with observed data measured during the flood event in September 2010. The HEC-RAS model developed in this study will contribute to support operation of the waterway during the flood season.
This study investigates the effects of third molar on the occlusal plane in Angle's class El malocclusion with possibilities of posterior crowding and the interrelationships of occlusal plane inclinations to other skeletal patterns. Above investigations might showed that considerations should be given to third molars with possibilities of posterior crowding in establishing diagnosis and treatment plans for Angle's class III malocclusion patients. The following conclusions were obtained 1. In events of third molars causing possible posterior crowding, maxillary third molars showed more mesial inclinations than second molars, and compared to those with third molar missing cases, first molars were more mesially inclined and displaced more inferiorly from the palatal plane and OP-MP was increase , thus the occlusal plane was less steep. 2. In events of third molars causing possible posterior crowding, the anglulation between AB line and mandibular plane was decreased and ANB showed negative values. Thus chin points were more protruded, ramus were more anteriorly displaced, and increase in lower facial height, genial angle, effective mandibular length and mandibular plane angle were observed. This in all caused more vertical opening and more severe skeletal disturbance. 3. OP-MP was increased as the maxillary first molars were more inferiorly displaced from the palatal plane. As this angle was increased mandibular planes were more inferiorly inclined and LFH, genial angle, effective mandibular length were more increased and mandibular ramus was more anteriorly placed. 4. As the maxillary first molars were more inferiorly placed from the palatal plane, more increased OP-MP/PP-MP ratio made the occlusal plane less steep. As OP-MP/PP-MP was increased, mandibular ramus was more anteriorly placed and made longer, and facial angle and effective mandibular length were increased.

Clinical limitations following closed reduction of an intracapsular condylar fracture include a decrease in maximum mouth opening, reduced range of mandibular movements such as protrusion/lateral excursion, and reduced occlusal stability. Anteromedial and inferior displacement of the medial condyle fragment by traction of the lateral pterygoid muscle can induce bone overgrowth due to distraction osteogenesis between the medial and lateral condylar fragments, causing structural changes in the condyle. In addition, when conventional maxillomandibular fixation (MMF) is performed, persistent interdental contact sustains masticatory muscle hyperactivity, leading to a decreased vertical dimension and premature contact of the posterior teeth. To resolve the functional problems of conventional closed reduction, we designed a novel method for closed reduction through protrusive MMF for two weeks. Two patients diagnosed with intracapsular condylar fracture had favorable occlusion after protrusive MMF without premature contact of the posterior teeth. This particular method has two main advantages. First, in the protrusive position, the lateral condylar fragment is moved in the anterior-inferior direction closer to the medial fragment, minimizing bone formation between the two fragments and preventing structural changes. Second, in the protrusive position, posterior disclusion occurs, preventing masticatory muscle hyperactivity and the subsequent gradual decrease in ramus height.
