  • This paper proposes a mobile-optimized pedestrian detection method using Cascade of HOG(Histograms of Oriented Gradients) for ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System) on smartphones. In order to use the limited resource of mobile platforms efficiently, the method is implemented by the OpenCL(Open Computing Language) library, and its processing time is reduced in the following two aspects. Firstly, the method sets a program build option specifically and adjusts work group sizes as variety of kernels in the host code. Secondly, it utilizes local memory and a LUT(Look-Up Table) in the kernel code to accelerate the program. For performance evaluation, the developed algorithm is compared with the mobile CPU-based OpenCV(Open Computer Vision) for Android function. The experimental results show that the processing speed is 25% faster than the OpenCV hogcascade.

  • Automatic modulation classification is a critical algorithm for non-cooperative communication systems. This paper addresses the challenging problem of closed-set and open-set signal modulation classification in complex channels. We propose a novel approach that incorporates a self-learning filter and center-loss in Deep Residual Shrinking Networks (DRSN) for closed-set modulation classification, and the Opendistance method for open-set modulation classification. Our approach achieves better performance than existing methods in both closed-set and open-set recognition. In closed-set recognition, the self-learning filter and center-loss combination improves recognition performance, with a maximum accuracy of over 92.18%. In open-set recognition, the use of a self-learning filter and center-loss provide an effective feature vector for open-set recognition, and the Opendistance method outperforms SoftMax and OpenMax in F1 scores and mean average accuracy under high openness. Overall, our proposed approach demonstrates promising results for automatic modulation classification, providing better performance in non-cooperative communication systems.

  • Purpose : We evaluated clinical result of arthroscopic and open Bankart repair in anterior shoulder instability to identify factors iuluencing operative result and prognosis. Materials & Methods . We reviewed 24 patients of anterior shoulder instability treated with arthroscopic Bankart repair in 16 cases and open Bankart repair in 8 cases. Average age was 26 years old and involved in dominant arm in 15 cases. Patients were suffered instability for 3.1 years before operation and mean follow-up was 2 year 9 months ( 1 you 9 months -4year 10 months). Results : Post operative pain was subsided in 2 weeks in arthroscopic surgery and 3 weeks in open surgery. The final range of motion after arthroscopic repair were flekion in 168" , external rotation in 54" , and internal rotation in 79, and after open repair 168" ,49" , and 78 respectively. In arthroscopic surgery,2 cases (13%) were redislocated, and 4 cases(25%) showed mild instability. In open case,1 case (11%) showed mild instability. According to function- al result by Rowe grading scale, satisfactory results were 12case (76%) in arthroscopic repair and 7 cases (88%) in open cases. Conclusions Both arthroscopic or open Bankart could get good results in the treatment of anterior instability of shoulder. In arthroscopic repair, perioperative morbidity was lower than open repair, but it needs careful rehabilitation program to prevent redislocation and to return to sports activity.

  • Let f : X longrightarrow Y be quasi-open. We show that: (1) If A $\subset$ X is open, f│A is quasi-open, (2) f : X longrightarrow f(X) is quasi-open. (3) And let $f_{\alpha}/,:X_{\alpha}$, longrightarrow $Y_{\alpha}$ be quasi-open. Then $\Pi f_{\alpha}, : \Pi X_{\alpha}$ longrightarrow $\Pi Y_{\alpha}$/ defined by {$x_{\alpha}$} longrightarrow {$f_{\alpha},({\chi}_{\alpha}$)}, is quasi-open. (4) Lastly, if $f_{i}: X_{i}$ longrightarrow Y are quasi-open, i = 1,2, then F: $X_1 \bigoplus X_2$ longrightarrow Y, defined by $F({\chi})=f_i({\chi})$, ${\chi} \in X_i$, is also quasi-open.

  • This study examines open market websites of Korea and China and identifies differences in the web design factors so as to verify how the design factors affect consumers' trust and purchase intention in the open market websites. Two hundred consumers, respectively in Korea and China, filled out survey questionnaires. According to the survey result, design factors of open market websites of both countries consisted of context, contents, communities, communication, connectivity and commercial transaction; and trust-building factors were comprised of customer services, product perception and security perception. This study found that there was no significant difference in the design factors of open market websites between the two countries, but trust levels in accordance with design factors and purchase intention in accordance with trust level differed by country. Therefore, this result would help Korean companies targeting Chinese consumers understand that there are differences between Korean and Chinese consumers in their trust level and purchase intention in accordance with open market website designs; encourage Korean online shopping malls to move to the Chinese market; and provide rich insights into developing marketing plans based on the different web design factors of Korean and Chinese open markets.

  • J.Y. CHOI,S. J. KIM, E. L. LEE. Change of plantar pressure Distribution of Open Stance during Forehand Strke in Tennis. Korean Journal of Sport Biomechanics, Vol. 15, No. 1, PP. 143-153, 2005. Recently among several tennis techniques forehand stroke has been greatly changed in the aspect of spin, grip and stance. The most fundamental factor among the three factors is the stance which consists of open, square and close stance and it is very important to know the patterns of plantar pressure distribution for the better understanding of forehand stroke. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the change of plantar pressure distribution in open stance during forehand stroke in tennis. Three high school tennis players were recruited for the study and required to perform forehand stroke five consecutive trials in the condition of open stance. The forehand strokes were filmed with two digital video cameras and measured with pedar system for plantar pressure. The plantar regions under the foot were divided into 3 regions, which were forefoot, midfoot, and rear foot. In conclusion, The plantar pressure of open stance during forehand stroke was distributed more largely to the right foot. The plantar pressure of open stance during forehand stroke was distributed more weight loads on forefoot of right than heel of right

  • Recently, El-Naschie has shown that the notion of fuzzy topology may be relevant to quantum paretical physics in connection with string theory and E-infinity space time theory. In this paper, we study the concepts of r-fuzzy semi-I-open, r-fuzzy pre-I-open, r-fuzzy $\alpha$-I-open and r-fuzzy $\beta$-I-open sets, which is properly placed between r-fuzzy openness and r-fuzzy $\alpha$-I-openness (r-fuzzy pre-I-openness) sets regardless the fuzzy ideal topological space in Sostak sense. Moreover, we give a decomposition of fuzzy continuity, fuzzy ideal continuity and fuzzy ideal $\alpha$-continuity, and obtain several characterization and some properties of these functions. Also, we investigate their relationship with other types of function.
