Recently, a few types of fish-cage in open sea are researched. This fish-cage has to operate monitoring system for keeping an optimum living condition for fish. The most efficient monitoring system is WVMS(Wireless Vision Monitoring System) for fish-cage in open sea. WVMS should be able to transmit video signal and communicate with each controller. So. it needs to be based on WLAN(Wireless LAN) which has characteristic of higher transfer-rate, In this paper, we propose a structure of WVMS using WLAN equipments for maritime environment and prove its effectiveness. We present the propagation loss model of WVMS's communication channel. measured by field test, and discuss its validity compared with the predictive value based on the Friss propagation model and Plane earth reflection model. We present the number of frames that is received from WLAN modem connecting with underwater-camera in field test spots. As a result, we confirmed that proposed WVMS is suitable for maritime environment and it is possible to be applied to fish-cage in open sea on 'seogwipo'.

본 논문에서는 다양한 Open APIs 를 교육적으로 활용할 수 있는 동영상 부가정보 제공 시스템을 개발하였다. 교사들은 이 시스템을 사용하여 기존의 일반적인 동영상을 교육목적에 맞게 재구성할 수 있다. 특히 교사들은 어려운 프로그래밍 작업 없이도, 단순한 키워드 입력만으로 다양한 Open APIs를 손쉽게 가져와 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 동영상 키워드 정보를 적응적으로 관리함으로써 학생들에게 수준에 맞는 내용을 제공할 수도 있다. 학생은 키워드 정보를 적응적으로 제공받음으로써 동영상 내용을 쉽게 이해할 수 있으며 지식의 확장에 도움을 받을 수 있다.

In the three-phase power system using the three-phase load, when any one-phase is open-phase, the unbalanced current flows and the single-phase power supplied by power supply produces over-current. As a result, the enormous damage and electrical fire can be given to the power system. In order to improve these problems, this paper is proposed a new control circuit topology for open-phase protection using semiconductor devices. Therefore, the proposed open-phase protection device (OPPD) enhances the sensing speed and precision, and has the advantage of simple fitting in the three-phase distribution panel in the field, as it manufactures into small size and light weight. As a result, the proposed OPPD minimizes the electrical fire from open-phase, and contributes for the stable driving of the power system.

This study explores the role of the think tank as an intermediary organization in the open innovation system. Think tank has contributed to the policy process as a mediator between government and public and as a symbolic entity of intellectual innovation to produce knowledge to the public. As the innovation system matures, one of the major challenges in research and practice is the openness and collaboration in the science, technology, and innovation system. While previous literature highlighted the think tank as the knowledge arbitrager transforming ideas into policy issues, few studies address the research questions: Is the conventional role of the think tank still persistent in the open innovation system? What are the demanding roles? This paper tackles these questions by reviewing the current role of the South Korean think tank in the science & technology sector. Based on the open innovation framework, we suggest that think tanks need to play a bigger role as policy entrepreneurs, crossing policy borders and interacting with other partners.

Experimental research on flow characteristics of open natural circulation system was performed, to figure out the mechanism of the open natural circulation behaviors. The influence factors, such as the heating power, the inlet subcooled and the level of cooling tank on the flow characteristics of the system were examined. It was shown that within the scope of the experimental conditions, there are five flow types: single-phase stable flow, flash and geyser coexisting unstable flow, flash stable flow, flash unstable flow, and flash and boiling coexisting unstable flow. The geyser flow in flash and geyser coexisting unstable flow is different from classic geysers flow. The flow oscillation period and amplitude of the former are more regular, is a newly discovered flow pattern. By drawing the flow instability boundary diagram and sorting out the flow types, it is found that the two-phase unstable flow is mainly characterized by boiling and flash, which determine the behavior of open natural circulation respectively or jointly. Moreover, compared with full liquid level system, non-full liquid level system is more prone to boiling phenomenon, and the range of heat flux density and undercooling degree corresponding to unstable flow is larger.

In order to address housing issues, alleviate the concentration of urban populations, and resolve other issues regarding residential spaces, large residential complexes have been developed in Korea since the 1970s. The changes to the residential culture due to such development projects propagated rapidly, making the apartment complexes the most representative form of housing in Korea. In developing such large-scale complexes, plans for public open spaces, which play an important role in formulating the quality of residential environment, have been mostly the same, only utilizing the spaces remaining after planning other types of spaces. The current study looks at the case of Tama New Town development project, a Japanese new town development project that has a similar public open space system in large scale residential complex development projects in Korea. In doing so, the current study aims to identify the features of public open space plans. In the conclusion, the study first finds that various public open spaces must be reviewed and introduced in term of predicting social demands. Second, the study suggests the policy-makers should actively introduce pedestrian paths as a public open space. Third, the study deduces the planning implications of applying the principle of original landscape preservation.

과거에는 공간데이타를 초기에 어떻게 구축할 것인가가 문제였으나 현재는 엄청난 양의 분산된 공간 데이타중 목적에 맞는 데이타에 대한 접근 및 효율적인 이용에 대해서 그 초점이 옮겨지고 있다. 이러한 요구를 만족하기 위해서는 분산 객체 기술과 공간 데이타 및 서비스에 대한 표준을 필요로 한다. 이 논문에서는 OpenGIS에서 정의하는 표준 인터페이스를 분산 객체 기술인 CORBA를 이용하여 구현하는 방법에 대해서 다루고 있다. 클라이언트는 CORBA로 구현된 미들웨어의 OpenAPI를 표준 프로토콜인 IIOP(TCP/IP)를 통하여 접근할 수 있다. 클라이언트에게 Open API를 제공해 주는 CORBA 서버 객체는 기존 시스템을 포장하여 상호 운용을 보장해 준다.

Tile Map Service는 정적인 이미지들을 모아둔 저장소를 이용하여 매우 빠르게 지도 서비스를 수행하는 서비스이다. 지도 이미지 저장소는 특정 축척별로 지도 영역을 Tile 이미지로 저장한 디렉토리 구조이다. 따라서 디렉토리 구조로부터 이미지를 불러오는 것은 사용자의 요구에 따라서 지도를 데이터베이스로부터 직접 생성하는 것보다 훨씬 시간 단축이 이루어진다. 이와 같은 Tile Map Service를 이용하면 사용자가 복잡한 지도를 생성할 때 획기적으로 지도 생성 시간을 단축시키는 효과와 성능 향상을 위한 제반 노력을 제거할 수 있다. 본 논문은 Open Source GIS를 사용하여 고해상도 영상의 Tile Map Service 시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. Open Source GIS중 GDAL(Geospatial Data Abstraction Library)을 사용하여 Tile Map Image를 생성하였으며, OpenLayers를 이용하여 웹브라우저를 통한 서비스를 구축하였다. 또한 Tile Map Service 시스템을 구축 한 후 전통적인 방식으로 지도 렌더링을 수행하는 시스템과 성능테스트를 수행하여 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 수행 결과 본 연구를 통하여 제안된 방법으로 고해상도의 영상 데이터를 상용소프트웨어의 도입 없이 고가용성의 Tile Map Service 시스템을 구축할 수 있었다.

광범위한 인터넷의 보급에 따라 컴퓨터 및 네트워크 시스템의 취약점을 이용한 해커들의 통신 웹을 경유한 공격이 쉽게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 통합 보안관리가 가능한 LISS(Linux-based Integrated Security System)라고 이름 붙여진 통합 보안 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 시스템은 공개 운영 체제인 Linux에 기반하고 있으며, Linux 기반 서버의 보안관리에 효과적인 공개 보안 도구들로 구성되어 있다. LISS의 성능을 시험하기 위하여 테스트베드를 구성하여 시험한 결과, 구현된 시스템이 네트워크 매퍼로부터 발생되는 모든 공격 패턴들을 포획하는 것으로 나타났다.
