Microprocessor On-line Contents using Simulator

  • With the advancement of the 4th Industrial Revolution(4IR), microprocessor education is on the rise due to the explosive demand for IoT (Internet of Things) and M2M devices. However, it is difficult due to many constraints to efficiently transfer training on hardware assembly and implementation through online training. Thus, we developed a cost-effective online content based on Arduino simulations, Atmel Studio 7, and WinAvr simulator that are required for the utilization of AVR 128. These Camtasia videos overcame the limitation of theory focused on-line education by visually introducing the practical utilization of an actual AVR 128. In this paper, the proposed educational content was provided to university students, and the results of student feedback show that it has a strong effect.

Fraud Detection in E-Commerce

  • Fraud in e-commerce transaction increased in the last decade especially with the increasing number of online stores and the lockdown that forced more people to pay for services and groceries online using their credit card. Several machine learning methods were proposed to detect fraudulent transaction. Neural networks showed promising results, but it has some few drawbacks that can be overcome using optimization methods. There are two categories of learning optimization methods, first-order methods which utilizes gradient information to construct the next training iteration whereas, and second-order methods which derivatives use Hessian to calculate the iteration based on the optimization trajectory. There also some training refinements procedures that aims to potentially enhance the original accuracy while possibly reduce the model size. This paper investigate the performance of several NN models in detecting fraud in e-commerce transaction. The backpropagation model which is classified as first learning algorithm achieved the best accuracy 96% among all the models.

  • 코로나19는 직업능력개발 분야의 교육훈련 환경을 크게 변화시켰다. 상대적으로 집체훈련 비중이 큰 직업능력개발훈련은 일부 훈련과정을 온라인 방식으로 전환하여 온라인과 오프라인을 병행하는 학습 방식이 직업능력개발훈련 현장에 실현되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 상황에 주목하여 기존의 집체 방식의 직업능력개발훈련을 대체할 수 있는 비대면 원격훈련시스템을 구축하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대학, 공공 고등직업훈련기관, 민간 직업훈련기관 등의 학습자들을 대상으로 비대면 교육 경험을 조사하여 교육환경과 교육목적이 상이한 학습자들의 비대면 학습경험을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 비대면 교육을 위한 원격훈련시스템 구축 방안의 초안을 구성하여, 비대면 원격훈련시스템 초안에 대한 델파이 조사를 통해 비대면 교수학습 전략, 학습 및 운영 지원 방안 등 원격훈련시스템 구축안을 제안하였다.

한의학 연구자를 위한 시스템 생물학 학습 가이드 (Guide to Learning Systems Biology for Korean Medicine Researchers)

  • The emergence of systems biology in the 21st century is changing the paradigm of biomedical research. Whereas the reductionist approaches focus on components rather than time or contexts, systems biology focus more on interrelationships, dynamics, and contexts. The key ideas of the systems biology shares much with the philosophy of Korean Medicine(KM) and therefore, the paradigm shift is shedding light on understanding the mechanism of action of KM at system level. In this article, I provide a guide to learning systems biology for KM researchers using online learning resources. Thanks to the recent development of MOOC(massive open online courses) and other online learning platforms, learners can access to plenty of high-quality resources from top-tier universities in the world. I expect this guide help researchers to employ systems biology methods into their KM researches, and will lead to the development of future curricula for training "bi-lingual" experts, KM and computational approaches.

  • The online education platform market is developing rapidly after the coronavirus infection-19 pandemic. As school classes at various levels are converted to non-face-to-face classes, interest in non-face-to-face online education is increasing more than ever. However, the majority of online platforms currently used are limited to the fragmentary functions of simply delivering images, voice and messages, and there are limitations to online hands-on training. Indeed, digital transformation is a traditional business method for increasing coding education and a corporate approach to service operation innovation strategy computing thinking power and platform model. There are many ways to evaluate a computer programmer's ability. Generally, piecemeal evaluation methods are used to evaluate results in time through coding tests. In this study, the purpose of this study is to propose a comprehensive evaluation of not only the results of writing, but also the execution process of the results, etc., and to evaluate the programmer's propensity habits based on the programmer's coding experience to evaluate the programmer's ability and productivity.

산학협력 캡스톤디자인 매칭 플랫폼 개발 연구 (Development Study of Capstone Design Matching Platform based on Industry-Academic Cooperation)

  • The purpose of universities is diversifying, such as education and research for the transfer of knowledge and technology, and training talented people with the competencies required in industrial sites. Therefore, universities are attempting various forms of industry-academic cooperation to maintain organic relations with companies and to conduct research activities, technology sharing, technology development, technology transfer, and human resources training. In particular, in the field of engineering education, various industry-academic cooperation programs such as field training, interns, and start-up support are actively developed and operated. Accordingly, the Engineering Education Innovation Research Information Center developed an online industry-academic cooperation capstone design matching platform for engineering education to enable collaboration between universities and companies nationwide. The industry-academic cooperation matching platform was developed under the theme of capstone design. Capstone design is a project-oriented and problem-based learning method that combines the knowledge and experiences acquired by the undergraduate department and designs and produces them. The subject of the Capstone design project was to solve corporate difficulties and allow companies and universities to collaborate. This study developed an online industry-academic cooperation capstone design matching platform according to analysis, design, development, evaluation, and execution procedures. This study is meaningful in that it has developed a channel through which students and companies, who are the subjects of industry-academic cooperation, can carry out projects and communicate organically through an online matching platform.

가상훈련 콘텐츠 운영기관 인식을 통한 활용도 제고방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Utilization through Recognition of Virtual Training Content Operating Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 K대학교 온라인평생교육원의 가상훈련 콘텐츠 활용을 높이는 방안을 파악하기 위해 운영기관 사례를 중심으로 활용경험, 콘텐츠 인식, 현장실습 대체, 요구사항 등을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 2020년 K대학교 온라인평생교육원이 보급한 가상훈련 콘텐츠를 운영한 12개 기관을 선정하여 심층인터뷰를 실시하고, 최종 인터뷰한 11개 기관의 인터뷰 내용을 질적 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 가상훈련 운영기관의 콘텐츠 활용경험은 교육환경의 변화, 이론학습의 보완, 실무감각의 향상이 목적이었다. 둘째, 가상훈련 콘텐츠 인식을 조사한 결과, 콘텐츠의 중요도와 활용도가 높다고 인식한 경우에는 구비가 어려운 시설과 장비의 경험, 흥미유발 및 주의집중에 도움, 안전교육에 유용, 비대면 수업시 현장실습에 대체 가능한다고 응답했다. 셋째, 현장실습에 대체에 대한 인식은 다수의 경우, 현장실습의 사전 교육자료로 활용하기에는 무리가 없지만 현장실습을 대체하기에는 어렵다고 응답했다. 넷째, 콘텐츠 질 개선사항으로 콘텐츠 질 제고, 콘텐츠 접근 및 조작 개선, 전용 기기 개발, 교수자 대상 연수실시, 교육과정 체계화로 요약할 수 있다. 다섯째, 기관의 요구사항으로 가상훈련 콘텐츠 자체의 질 제고, 장비지원, 교육과정 체계화 및 특성화, 체계적인 교육과정 및 세부 콘텐츠 목적 공유 등이며, 홍보방안으로 교수자 대상으로 연수 진행하며 가상 훈련 콘텐츠 활용에 대한 자세한 안내, 가상훈련 콘텐츠 활용과 타 사업 연계, 콘텐츠 활용방법 소개 및 활용 강사모집 등이었다. 본 연구는 가상훈련 콘텐츠 운영기관의 인식을 바탕으로 가상훈련 콘텐츠 활용도 제고를 위한 방안을 모색했다는데 의의가 있다.

약물감시 실습 교육이 한의과대학 학부생의 지식, 태도 및 자가 효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of A Pharmacovigilance Practice Training Course for Future Doctors of Korean Medicine on Knowledge, Attitudes and Self Efficacy)

  • Objectives: This study was aimed to develop a pharmacovigilance practice training course for future doctors of Korean medicine, the graduate students of a college of Korean medicine, and to verify the educational effect of the curriculum. Methods: Fifty-six students were given a training course designed as follows: 1) pre-class homework (basic theory self-study, online course, causality assessment, and adverse event reporting simulation); 2) in-class: homework submission and case discussion; 3) after-class: homework revision and resubmission. An online survey to assess the change of the level of basic knowledge and attitudes toward pharmacovigilance, the willingness to report adverse events, and self-efficacy for the causality assessment and adverse event reporting was conducted before and after education. Results: The survey participation rate was 96.5% in pre-education and 64.3% in the post-education survey. After education, knowledge level was improved (mean score from 4.3±2.11 to 6.7±1.96 points, modal value from 3 to 8 points) and positive changes were observed in almost all questions on attitudes. In the post-education survey, more students felt that they could do causality assessment (from 13% to 80.5%), could report adverse events to the agency in charge (from 7.4% to 96.2%), and expressed their strong willingness to report adverse events in the future (from 77.8% to 88.9%) than in the pre-education survey. Conclusions: More schools of Korean medicine need to adopt pharmacovigilance training courses in their curriculum to foster future doctors of Korean medicine with pharmacovigilance capabilities. Such efforts will be the basis for achieving an evidence-based, safe use of herbal medicine.

교원능력개발 원격연수 시범운영 분석 (An analysis on the pilot test of web-based training for teachers' competency development)

  • 교육과학기술부가 원격교원연수원을 2000년 12월부터 지정 인가해 주기 시작한 이래로 지속된 교원 원격연수의 양적 성장에도 불구하고, 연수시간 확보의 어려움, 통신 인프라 문제, 교수자와 학습자간 상호작용의 어려움, 온라인 평가의 공정성 문제, 콘텐츠 갱신의 어려움, 연수생 관리의 어려움 등으로 인해 기대만큼 고품질의 원격연수가 운영되지는 못했다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교원능력개발평가와 연계하여 교원 원격연수의 발전방향을 제시하기 위한 일환으로 16개 시 도 교육연수원에서 분담 개발한 교원능력개발 원격연수 콘텐츠의 시범연수에 참여한 연수생 및 연수운영자의 원격연수에 대한 만족도와 건의사항, 연수시스템의 활용 숙련 수준을 조사하고 분석하였다.

온라인 정보탐색의 효과변인 분석 (An Analysis on the Factors Affectingy Online Search Effect)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the correlations between the amount of the online searcher's search experience and their search effect. In order to achieve this purpose, the 28 online searchers working at the chosen libraries and information centers have participated in the study as subjects. The subjects have been classified into the two types of cognitive style by Group Embedded Figure Test. As the result of the GEFT, two groups have been identified: the 15 Field Independance ( FI ) searchers and the 13 Field Dependance ( FD ) searchers. The subject's search experience consists of the 3 elements: disciplinary, training, and working experience. In order to get the data of these empirical elements, a questionnaire have been sent to the 28 subjects. An online searching request form prepared by a practical user was sent to all subjects, who conducted searches of the oversea databases through Dialog to retrieve what was requested. The resultant outcomes were collected and sent back to the user to evaluate relevance and pertinence of the search effect by the individual. In this study, the search effect has been divide into relevance and pertinence. The relevance has been then subdivided into the 3 elements : the number of the relevant documents, recall ratio, and the cost per a relevant document. The relevance has been subdivided into the 3 elements: the number of the pertinent documents, utility ratio, and the cost per a pertinent document. The correlations between the 3 elements of the subject's experience and the 6 elements of the search effect has been analysed in the FI and in the FD searchers separately. At the standard of the 0.01 significance level, findings and conclusions made in the study are summarised as follows : 1. There are strong correlations between the amount of training and the recall ratio, the number of the pertinent documents, and the utility ratio on the part of FI searchers. 2. There are strong correlations between the amount of working experience and the number of the relevant documents, the recall ratio on the part of FD searchers. However, there is also a significant converse correlation between the amount of working experience and the search cost per a pertinent document on the part of FD searchers. 3. The amount of working experience has stronger correlations with the number of the pertinent documents and the utility ratio on the part of FD searchers than the amount of training. 4. There is a strong correlation between the amount of training and the pertinence on both part of FI and FD searchers.
