Applications of online simulation supporting PWR operations

  • Real Time Simulation (RTS) has long been used in the nuclear power industry for operator training and engineering purposes. And, Online Simulation (OLS) is based on RTS and with connection to the plant information system to acquire the measurement data in real time for calibrating the simulation models and following plant operation, for the purposes of analyzing plant events and providing indicative signs of malfunctioning. An OLS system has been developed to support PWR operations for CPR1000 plants. The OLS system provides graphical user interface (GUI) for operators to monitor critical plant operations for preventing faulty operation or analyzing plant events. Functionalities of the OLS system are depicted through the maneuvering of the GUI for various OLS functional modules in the system.

  • Digitalization of not only non-safety but also safety-grade I &C systems with full computerized Main Control Room (MCR) is the recent trend of I&C systems of nuclear power plants (NPP) around the world, while plant maintenance has been shifting from traditional time based maintenance to condition based maintenance. In order to cope with the new trend of operation and maintenance in NPP, a concept of online distributed diagnostic system for both plant operation and maintenance has been proposed in order to further improve both the plant efficiency and the work environment of plant operation staff members by organizational learning. In this respect, the research subjects of human machine interface (HMI) for the online distributed diagnostic system are also discussed for supporting the plant personnel at both MCR and local working places in the plant by the application of advanced ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).

  • 인용실적 개선 및 학술지 위상제고를 위하여 국내학술논문의 해외유통은 매우 중요하며 그 기본은 학술논문별로 국제적인 학술논문 식별자인 DOI를 등록하는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 DOI를 관리 및 등록하는 국제단체 CrossRef에 학술논문을 기탁해야 하는 쉽지 않은 과정이 필요하다. KISTI는 국내 과학기술분야 학회를 대상으로 DOI/CrossRef 기탁사업을 수행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 KISTI의 DOI/CrossRef 기탁사업에 필요한 프로세스를 온라인 처리할 수 있는 학술논문 DOI 등록 지원 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

초·중등 교육과정 온라인지원시스템의 사용자 중심의 디자인 가이드라인 개발 및 검증 (Development and Verification of User-centered Design Guidelines on Online Support System for Curriculum at primary/secondary schools)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초·중등 교육과정을 지원하기 위한 온라인시스템을 대상으로 사용자 친화적인 경험과 편의성을 제공하기 위한 디자인 가이드라인을 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구 및 해외 교육과정 온라인지원시스템에 대한 우수사례를 분석하였다. 또한, NCIC와 고교학점제 사이트를 중심으로 74명의 모니터단 설문 조사를 통해 UX/UI 사용성 문제와 요구를 도출하였다. 해외사례 분석과 모니터단 설문 결과를 바탕을 도출된 디자인 가이드라인에 대한 초안을 바탕으로 전문가 델파이를 실시하여 타당성을 확보하였다. 본 연구에서는 교육과정에 관련된 과업을 수행하는 온라인지원시스템에 일반적으로 적용될 수 있는 디자인 가이드라인을 도출함으로써, 현재 서비스되고 있는 시스템의 개선 방향을 제시하고 향후 개발될 시스템의 디자인의 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • Payment systems are evolving, and this study examines how blockchain and AI improve online transactional security and service quality. The study examines micro and macro payment systems, compares online, and offline methods all over the world. The study also examines how blockchain and AI affect payment system security, privacy, and efficiency globally and rapidly digitizing economy. Digital payment methods are growing all over the world with high literacy and digital engagement, but they face challenges. The research highlights cybersecurity threats and the need to balance user convenience and security. It suggests blockchain and AI improve online payment services, supporting the policies for different countries. In this extensive research survey, we compare and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various payment systems, their practicality, and their robustness. This study also examines how technological innovations and payment systems interact to reveal how blockchain and AI could transform the financial sector. It seeks to understand how technology-enhancing service quality can boost customer satisfaction and financial stability in the digital age. The findings should help policymakers, financial institutions, and technology developers optimize online payment systems for a more secure and efficient digital economy.

SSL 프로토콜을 이용한 안전한 웹기반 교육용 온라인 게임 (On Securing Web-based Educational Online Game Using SSL Protocol)

  • Currently, web-based online games is becoming popular in supporting learning process due to their effective and efficient tool. However, online games have lack of security aspect, in particular due to increase in the number of personal information leakage. Since the data are transmitted over insecure channel, it will be vulnerable of being intercepted by attackers who want to exploit user's identity. This paper aims to propose an online web-based educational game, Vidyanusa which allows the students to register their personal information using a unique code, a user name and a password. It manages the users according to their schools, subject teachers and class levels. In addition, by adopting a unique code, the confidentiality of the user identity can be kept away from attackers. Moreover, in order to provide a secure data communication between client and server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol is adopted. The performance of the system after implementing SSL protocol is examined by loading a number of requests for various users. From the experiment result, it can be concluded that the SSL protocol can be applied to web-based educational system in order to offer security services and reliable connection.

사용자의 선호도 정보를 활용한 직무 추천 시스템 연구 (A Study on the Job Recommender System Using User Preference Information)

  • Recently, online job websites have been activated as unemployment problems have emerged as social problems and demand for job openings has increased. However, while the online job platform market is growing, users have difficulty choosing their jobs. When users apply for a job on online job websites, they check various information such as job contents and recruitment conditions to understand the details of the job. When users choose a job, they focus on various details related to the job rather than simply viewing and supporting the job title. However, existing online job websites usually recommend jobs using only quantitative preference information such as ratings. However, if recommendation services are provided using only quantitative information, the recommendation performance is constantly deteriorating. Therefore, job recommendation services should provide personalized services using various information about the job. This study proposes a recommended methodology that improves recommendation performance by elaborating on qualitative preference information, such as details about the job. To this end, this study performs a topic modeling analysis on the job content of the user profile. Also, we apply LDA techniques to explore topics from job content and extract qualitative preferences. Experiments show that the proposed recommendation methodology has better recommendation performance compared to the traditional recommendation methodology.

시설장 면담을 통한 농촌보육시설의 실태 및 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Operation Status of Rural Childcare Facilities for Better Care through Interviews with Principals)

  • The purpose of this study was to make a survey of the operation of childcare facilities in rural regions through in-depth interviews with 5 facility principals. Owing to regional disadvantages, rural childcare facilities have many problems as follows: uneven distribution of facilities, shortage of teachers, financial difficulties, unsuitable programs for rural regions, insufficient reeducation of principals and teachers, and poor operations and accessibility for handicapped or very young children. The principals proposed that many conditions might be made better as follows: evenly distributing facilities in step with needs and supply, raising the salary of teachers of rural facilities, supporting the facilities themselves side by side with supporting children, improving 'childcare fee supporting system' of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, developing and spreading programs suitable for rural regions, and promoting the reeducation of principals and teachers through online programs.

직장여성의 양육 스트레스와 건강증진행위의 관계: 지지자원의 매개효과 (The Relationship between Parenting Stress and Health Promotion Behavior of Working Women: Mediating Effect of Supporting Resources)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the parenting stress and health promotion behavior of working women, and to investigate the mediating effect of supporting resources. Supporting resources were set as social support of spouse and community, and institutional support of the organization to which the subject belongs based on previous studies and an ecological system theory. Methods: The participants were composed of 214 female workers residing in 17 cities and provinces nationwide and having at least one child aged 1~12 years old. Data were collected online from February 19 to February 28, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program to understand the level and correlation of the general characteristics and major variables, and to test the mediating effect, after controlling the variables significantly from univariate analysis, step regression analysis was performed. Results: Among the supporting resources, the mediating effect of social support of spouse and community was statistically significant. Conclusion: These findings suggest that it is necessary to seek ways to increase the social support of working women's spouses and people around them in order to increase the health promotion behavior of working women.

사용자 편의성과 시스템 효율성을 지원하는 대리운전 시스템 (A proxy driving system supporting user convenience and system efficiency)

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트폰을 활용하여 고객에게는 편리한 대리운전 신청 기능을, 대리기사에게는 고객의 위치정보를 제공하여 신속한 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 3-tier 구조의 대리운전 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 구현된 대리운전 시스템은 기존의 전화신청 방식과 스마트폰을 활용한 온라인 주문 방식을 모두 지원하며, 시스템 성능 분석을 통해 온라인 주문 비율이 높을수록 대리운전 접수와 처리의 자동화를 통해 콜센터 상담원의 업무량 감소와 대리운전 신청 처리시간 단축 효과를 제공함을 확인하였다. 대리운전 업체 입장에서는 구현된 시스템을 활용하여 상담원의 증원을 최소화하고 서비스 품질을 개선하여 고객 만족도를 향상시키고 비용 절감과 시장 점유율 확대 효과도 거둘 수 있다.
