The Global IT revolution is growing rapidly. Government and business have to be ready to meet the increased demand for effective and secure online services. With the E-Government practicing, day-by-day the public demand is also increasing simultaneously. Now this present moment, one of important research part is secure E-Voting for E-Government service, but for this important factor or Government Issue, it needs information privacy for secure information transaction of citizen’s opinions and secure authentication. This paper has analyzed several approaches E-voting protocols, those are implemented with many digital signature mechanism and maintained many types of cryptographic rules, which are main factor for information privacy. In this paper we have discussed them with a view to voter anonymity and protection from manipulations. The paper then developed an algorithm designed to guarantee anonymity of the voter and to avoid the risk of manipulation of votes. In this paper the proposed algorithm is based upon the strict separation of voter’s registration and submission of votes, which means that certain information has to be stored on a secure storage media.

This paper describes online stator-resistance estimation of a linear induction motor(LIM) with cage-type secondary using direct thrust control(DTC), where the resistance value is derived from stator-winding temperature estimation using thermocouple. In this paper, corrected stator resistance has an error in actuality measurement resistance. So compensation coefficient $\kappa$ which is decided through comparison and verifying several times relation of calculated resistance and measured motor line-line resistance. The stator-winding temperature information can also be used for monitoring, protection, and fault-tolerant control of the machine. Also, this paper reports the LIM's responses of the flux measured by the proposed stator resistance compensation algorithm.

Smart Healthcare System as an Open Platform (Shesop) is an integrated healthcare system and have several features, one of them is Steppy Application. Steppy does count your step and display on Shesop website. In this system security issues are not properly addressed, while Personal Health Record (PHR) patient stored in the cloud platform could be at risk. In fact, the huge electronic information available online, people needs reliable and effective technique for privacy preserving. In order to improve the security of data which are displayed on the Shesop website, so that anyone who access could not tamper without permission. Recently Xu et al. showed a pseudonym scheme using smart card as a solution in e-health systems which uses discrete logarithm problem with cyclic group. In this paper, we adopt their scheme and use it application into smartphone using Near Field Communication (NFC) to construct security in Steppy apps.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among credibility toward publicity (CP), the attitude toward publicity (AP), enterprise images, ethical obligations, and purchase intention, and then to demonstrate the differences in the relationships according to the three socially valuable creations: job creation, environmental protection, and fair trade. The hypotheses of this study were empirically tested with data collected via an online survey. The results of path analysis indicated that CP and AP positively affected enterprise images and ethical obligations respectively. Purchase intention was influenced by AP, enterprise images, and ethical obligations, but not by CP. In addition, this study highlighted the lack of a difference in consumer responses to publicity according to the three types of socially valuable creations. These findings provide guidelines for publicity strategies to induce consumers to purchase social enterprise products for marketing managers and entrepreneurs operating social enterprises.

Network function virtualization can significantly improve the flexibility and effectiveness of network appliances via a mapping process called service function chaining. However, the failure of any single virtualized network function causes the breakdown of the entire chain, which results in resource wastage, delays, and significant data loss. Redundancy can be used to protect network appliances; however, when failures occur, it may significantly degrade network efficiency. In addition, it is difficult to efficiently map the primary and backups to optimize the management cost and service reliability without violating the capacity, delay, and reliability constraints, which is referred to as the reliability-aware service chaining mapping problem. In this paper, a mixed integer linear programming formulation is provided to address this problem along with a novel online algorithm that adopts the joint protection redundancy model and novel backup selection scheme. The results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the request acceptance ratio and reduce the consumption of physical resources compared to existing backup algorithms.

Data are an essential resource for artificial intelligence-based services. It is considered a vital resource in the 4th industrial revolution era based on artificial intelligence. However, it is well-known that only a few giant platforms that provide most of the current online services tend to monopolize personal data. Therefore, some governments have started enforcing personal data protection and mobility regulations to address this problem. Additionally, there are some notable activities from a technical perspective, and Web 3.0 is one of these. Web 3.0 focuses on distributed architecture to protect people's data sovereignty. An important technical challenge of Web 3.0 is how to facilitate the personal data storage technology to provide valuable data for new data-based services while providing data for producers' sovereignty. This study reviews some currently proposed personal data storage technologies. Furthermore, we discuss the domestic countermeasures from MyData perspective, which is a typical project for data-based businesses in Korea.

The improvement of high-tech is closely linked with the improvement of the man himself, technogenesis affects anthropogenesis, and human development signifies transhumanism. Informatization and virtualization, digitalization and computerization cover more and more areas of human activity one can record and state the actualization and accentuation of what is happening online and it kind of sacralization, alibization and deification. The anthropological potential of IT also increases and expands accordingly. With the help of technology, scientists hope to establish communication with animals, study their language and intelligence, use elements of AI, to promote the protection of the rights of robots and cybernetic organisms.

전자상거래는 1990년대 후반 이후부터 폭발적인 성장을 거듭해 가고 있다. 그러나 전자상거래의 비대면성과 익명성, 국제성, 일방성, 현혹가능성 등과 같은 특성으로 인하여 소비자의 피해가 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 소비자보호를 위한 법 제도적 개선점을 다음과 같이 종합적으로 도출해 보았다. 첫째, 전자상거래소비자보호법상 청약철회권 행사기간을 연장할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 전자상거래는 비대면적으로 이루어지기 때문에 소비자가 착오를 일으킬 가능성이 높으며, 소비자가 자신의 착오를 입증하기가 용이하지 않으므로 사전에 착오가 발생하지 않도록 정확한 정보가 제공되도록 해야 한다. 셋째, 전자약관에 대한 인증마크 제도를 도입하여야 한다. 넷째, 소비자의 안전한 개인정보관리를 통한 개인정보유출과 이용에 대한 불안감이 없도록 법적, 제도적 그리고 기술적 대책이 강구되어야 한다. 다섯째, 인터넷 신뢰마크에 대한 엄격한 감독이 요구된다. 마지막으로 온라인 조정에 있어서 절차상 전송된 메시지나 문서에 대한 해킹 등을 통하여 제3자의 개입과 간섭이 있을 수 있으므로 당사자간의 명확한 인증을 통하여 시스템상에서의 보안성을 높일 필요가 있다.

Purpose: Clinical studies require institutional review board (IRB) approval based on the ethical principle and regulations. While the number of clinical studies has been increased and diversified, duplicated IRB review for multi-center studies has become a major issue. Therefore, single IRB system has been suggested in revised Common Rule. This study aimed to identify and assess the current status of single IRB in Korea and the anticipated needs of single IRB from researchers and IRB member or administrators. Methods: We developed 14 questions including perceived advantages and disadvantages of single IRB, and anticipated problems. The online survey collected opinions on single IRB from researchers, IRB members and IRB administrators. We also interviewed five IRB administrators who have an experience of single IRB. Results: A total of 80 responses were analyzed in this study. Although efficiencies were suggested for the advantages of single IRB in terms of reducing burden of duplicated review, respondents also perceived that the different review criteria between single IRB and each IRB would be a major hurdle for adopting single IRB system. Therefore, the standardization of standard of procedures (SOP) and the standardization of IRB submission materials should be preceded. According to the small group experiences of single IRB in Korea, we also observed the similar anticipated problems of single IRB. Conclusion: Single IRB system has many advantages for conducting multi-center trial. However, many specialists still have a lot of concerns about introducing a single IRB system in Korea. Therefore, a gradual, step-by-step process for conducting a single IRB system in Korea will be needed. Many studies for improving currently suggested single IRB system and the improvement of awareness about the essential of single IRB system would be needed.

잊힐 권리는 정보의 주체가 온라인상에서 자신과 관련된 모든 정보를 삭제하거나 확산의 방지를 요구할 수 있는 자기결정권 및 통제 권리를 뜻한다. 개인정보를 보호하고 사생활 침해로 인한 피해를 방지하기 위한 사회적 관심이 높아지면서 우리나라에서도 잊힐 권리에 대한 다양한 논의가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 잊힐 권리에 대한 선행연구는 주로 법적 개념을 다루고 있으며, 경제적 가치에 대한 고려는 미흡한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 잊힐 권리에 대한 우리나라 국민의 인식을 파악하고 잊힐 권리의 경제적 가치를 정량적으로 측정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 결과, 현재 개인정보 공개에 대한 우려는 존재하는 반면 잊힐 권리에 대한 인식은 아직 부족한 상황으로 나타났다. 잊힐 권리에 대한 응답자의 월평균 지불의사금액은 약 1,218원으로 도출되었으며, 연간 경제적 가치는 2017년 기준 약 5,400억 원으로 산정되었다. 특히 개인정보 유출 경험이 있는 응답자의 경우 잊힐 권리에 부여하는 가치는 더욱 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 향후 잊힐 권리에 대한 사회적 쟁점을 논의하는 과정에서 유용한 참고자료로 활용될 것이다.
