The purpose of this study is to examine consumers' responses to mobile payment services by using a text-mining technique focusing on Samsung Pay as it is used in both online and offline transactions. We conducted text frequency analysis, text clustering analysis, and text network analysis using R programming. The major findings are as follows. First, the most frequently used key words referenced the brand names of the mobile devices, the replacement of traditional wallets and unique functions of Samsung Pay. Second, there was a clear split between positive and negative responses at the macro level. Third, replacement of traditional wallets played a great role in the positive responses and continuous use of mobile payment services. This study provides in-depth understanding of consumer responses toward mobile payment services. It also offers practical implications that may help mobile payment marketers correspond to consumer values and expectations, thus increasing consumer satisfaction.

This study conducted an online and offline survey of 210 people from March 11 to 27, 2021 for the purpose of investigating and analyzing the current status of skin stress recognition and beauty care behavior due to wearing masks. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 with Cronbach's α, Frequency Analysis, Chi-square test, and One way Anova. The average daily mask wearing time of more than 7 hours during the Covid-19 period was 43.8%, and skin stress recognition by wearing masks was highest among those in their 30s (M=4.27) and service workers (M=4.64), and those with acne and skin troubles (M=4.47) perceived high stress. The most important factor for home care treatment was cleansing(67.6%) and for beauty care was skin care(36.7%). Considerations factors on beauty care were 54.3% for service and customer care capabilities, and on body shape management method 45.7% for exercise. According to this study, respondents are recognizing skin stress due to the long-term use of masks, and home care treatment has been increasing as the esthetic salon has become unstable to visit due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

This study includes online and offline surveys of 255 people conducted from March 11-29, 2021, into women's preferences in esthetic shops, and examines their level of satisfaction with skin and beauty home care. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 to obtain technical statistics such as Cronbach's α and a frequency analysis, and applied a chi-square test and one-way ANOVA. According to the results on preferences in esthetic shops, the largest number of respondents (56.1%) said they use professional esthetic shops, but those in their 20s and office workers (57.1%) preferred dermatology clinics. When choosing esthetic shops, the importance of employee skill (skilled, trendy) was high (38.8%), and in skin care, the importance of knowing basic cosmetics use (M=4.47), such as cleansing and functional cosmetics (M=4.20), was very high. According to results on the current status of home care for skin beauty, other factors of highest importance (M=4.50) were in terms of marriage, being a university graduate (M=3.84), and experience in a service job (M=4.06). As a result, there is a need to develop programs not only specializing in skin beauty but also combining professional esthetic shops and home care.
Purpose: In the restaurant sector, it has been known that consumers' positive perception of brands influences their positive WOM intention, and information sources play an important role in increasing credibility by enhancing consumer awareness and developing differentiated brands. This study examines the effects of information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) on trust (cognitive and affective) and, WOM and eWOM intention in the restaurant context. In the model, cognitive and affective trust play mediating roles in the relationships between information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) WOM and eWOM intention. Research design, data, and methodology: Research models and hypotheses were developed according to the research direction. The survey questionnaire items were developed and used appropriately according to the contents of this paper based on prior studies. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and validated in prior studies. A total of 502 responses were collected from an online survey. The research model was evaluated using SmartPLS 4.0. Frequency analysis was performed to understand the demographic characteristics of the survey respondents. The reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were assessed using measurement model analysis. The proposed model was verified using the structural equation model. Results: Advertisement, WOM, and SNS information sources all had a positive effect on affective trust, whereas only WOM had a significant effect on cognitive trust. In addition, affective trust had a positive effect on cognitive trust and eWOM intention but did not affect WOM intention. Finally, cognitive trust was found to have a positive effect on both WOM intention and eWOM intention. Conclusions: This study redefines the concept of where restaurant service companies should focus when providing consumers with information about their products and services. As a result, the conceptual framework of positive word of mouth intention to increase new customer visits to the restaurant brand has been expanded. In addition, this study not only presents an information source management strategy for restaurant brands, but also presents practical implications for resource allocation guidelines for customer management in the restaurant sector.

Innovation is considered as an implemented innovation in education - in the content, methods, techniques and forms of educational activity and personality education (methods, technologies), in the content and forms of organizing the management of the educational system, as well as in the organizational structure of educational institutions, in the means of training and education and in approaches to social services in education, distance and multimedia learning, which significantly increases the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process. The classification of currently known pedagogical technologies that are most often used in practice is shown. The basis of the innovative activity of a modern teacher is the formation of an innovative program-methodical complex in the discipline. Along with programmatic and content provision of disciplines, the use of informational tools and their didactic properties comes first. It combines technical capabilities - computer and video technology with live communication between the lecturer and the audience. In pedagogical innovation, the principles reflecting specific laws and regularities of the implementation of innovative processes are singled out. All principles are elements of a complex system of organization and management of innovative activities in the field of education and training. They closely interact with each other, which enhances the effect of each of them due to the synergistic effect. To improve innovative activities in the training of students, today computer technologies are widely used in pedagogy as a science, as well as directly in the practice of the pedagogical process. They have gained the most popularity in such activities as distance learning, online learning, assistance in the education management system, development of programs and virtual textbooks in various subjects, searching for information on the network for the educational process, computer testing of students' knowledge, creation of electronic libraries, formation of a unified scientific electronic environment, publication of virtual magazines and newspapers on pedagogical topics, teleconferences, expansion of international cooperation in the field of Internet education. The article considers computer technologies as the main building material for the entire society. In the modern world, there is a need to prepare a person for life in a multimedia environment. This process should be started as early as possible, because the child's contact with the media is present almost from the moment of his birth.

This study analyzed the Beopmaru, Supreme Court Library of Korea, circulation data to identify user lending patterns and proposed a plan to reflect the analysis results in future user services. In 2022, Beopmaru's collection of books was 212,608, with law books accounting for 73%. However, general books accounted for 83% of actual circulation. Looking at the usage coefficient by topic, the literature field was the most actively used at 5.85, and the law field was the least used at 0.23. In the case of interlibrary loan, both KERIS member institutions and the Korean Bar Association had the highest loan ratios in the legal field, civil law field, and judicial litigation procedure field, in that order. However, member institutions affiliated with KERIS, a legal academic community, were lending law books on a wider range of subject areas than the Korean Bar Association, a practical organization. To improve access to legal information, the Beopmaru public service was implemented, but in reality, the use of reading space was high, and the proportion of general books loaned was much higher. In order to improve this, it seems necessary to strengthen the promotion of Beopmaru loan services, provide personalized services, improve book lending regulations, strengthen online services, and establish a cooperative network.
As the aversion to advertising grows, native advertising has gained significant attention as a means to counteract this rejection. Native advertising is designed to seamlessly blend with other content on the page where they are displayed. They mimic the overall design and presentation of the platform, providing a natural exposure to consumers. Many companies utilize native advertising, but there is not much academic research on this topic. Therefore this study aims to examine the effectiveness of native advertising for social issues. The study looked at two types of native advertising: ads created by a company and ads sponsored by a company. Results suggested that consumers showed more positive attitudes towards a company's ads if they were sponsored by the company rather than created by the company. This study argued that this effect would be more pronounced for consumers who tended to buy ethically. To verify these hypotheses an online experiment was conducted revealing that on average consumers displayed the same attitude toward a company whether the native advertising was created or sponsored by a company. However, it was also discovered that consumers with a tendency for ethical consumerism formed more positive attitudes toward companies when the company sponsored native advertising as opposed to having created it. In practice, this study suggests how companies can improve the effectiveness of native advertising, such as implementing native advertising as a sponsor and being transparent about their advertising to appeal to consumers with high ethical consumption tendencies. This study expands the scope of research in areas related to native adverting and corporate social responsibilities.

As information and communications technology-based "smart hospitals" and "digital healthcare" have become a hot topic in the healthcare field, hospital mobile apps are gaining attention; but, the utilization rate is low due to lack of publicity, unstable systems, and late updates. In this situation, systematic research is needed to increase the utilization rate of hospital mobile apps, but related research has been rare. Therefore, this study integrates the information systems success model (ISSM) from the technical perspective and the expectation-confirmation model (ECM) from the cognitive perspective to demonstrate the influence mechanism on the continuous use intention of hospital mobile apps. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted among 181 Korean adults who have used hospital mobile apps. The results of the structual equation modeling showed that most of the quality factors have significant effects on expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction. Additionally, expectation confirmation significantly affects perceived usefulness and satisfaction, and both perceived usefulness and satisfaction significantly affect the continuous use intention of hospital mobile apps. This study is of importance in that it integrates the ISSM and ECM and applies them to the context of using hospital mobile apps, which are underutilized in the healthcare field, and provides practical implications for increasing the utilization rate of hospital mobile apps and operating effective and efficient services through the findings.
One of the most important types of Customer Empowerment Strategy (CES) is select empowerment, where firms allow customers to vote on a product to be marketed. However, there is limited research on the advantages and disadvantages of select empowerment. In particular, there are few studies on the composition of a voting system. This study analyzes customer participation behavior, such as willingness to vote and strategic voting (i.e., voting for candidates not based on utility orders), under the different voting systems: 1) the number of votes per customer (single or multiple), and 2) the number of final choices (single or multiple). Uncertainty is proposed as a mediator that links the voting system difference and customer participation. Two research hypotheses are tested using multiple linear regression analysis and a natural effects model based on data from two online experiments. As a result, the multiple voting system (i.e., multiple winners are selected by customer votes) shows a direct positive effect on willingness to vote and strategic voting behavior. In addition, the result shows that uncertainty insignificantly mediates the relationship between the voting system and customer participation. Academic and managerial contributions are discussed with several future research directions.

In recent decades, research became more data-intensive in the fast-paced information environment. Researchers are facing new challenges in managing their research data due to the increasing volume of data-driven research and the policies of major funding agencies. Information professionals have begun to offer various data support services such as training, instruction, data curation, data management planning and data visualization. However, the emerging field of data librarians, including specific roles and competencies, has not been clearly established even though librarians are taking on new roles in data services. Therefore, there is a need to identify a set of competencies for data librarians in this growing field. The purpose of this study is to consider varying core competencies for data librarians. This exploratory study examines 95 online recruiting advertisements regarding data librarians posted between 2017 and 2021. This study finds core competencies for data librarians that include skills in technology, communication and interpersonal relationships, training/consulting, service, library management, metadata knowledge and knowledge of data curation. Specific core technology skills include knowledge of statistical software and computer programming. This study contributes to an understanding of core competencies for data librarians to help future information professionals prepare their competencies as data librarians and the instructors who develop and revise curriculum and course materials.
