온라인 음식 배달 서비스 회복 전략의 실패가 소비자 태도 및 행동 의도에 미치는 영향: 공정성 이론(Justice Theory)을 중심으로 (The Effect of Failure of Online Food Delivery Service Recovery Strategies on Consumer Attitude and Behavioral Intention: Focusing on Justice Theory)

  • 본 연구에서는 코로나19로 인한 비대면 소비 증가로 크게 성장한 온라인 음식 배달 서비스(Online food delivery service, OFDS)기업에서 제시하는 서비스 회복 방안에 대한 불공정 인식이 소비자의 실망감에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 공정성 이론(Justice theory)을 기반으로 하여, 공정성 인식의 하위요인으로 절차의 공정성, 상호작용의 공정성, 정보의 공정성, 분배의 공정성을 채택하였다. 더불어, 서비스 회복 실패에 따른 실망감으로 인한 부정적 구전행동 및 전환의도 간의 관계에서 세대별(MZ세대와 그 외 세대) 차이점을 살펴보았다. 본 연구모델의 실증분석을 위하여 미국 내 성인 소비자 250명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 분석 결과 서비스 회복 방안 중 절차의 공정성과 분배의 공정성에 대한 부정적 인식이 소비자 실망감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 서비스 회복 전략에 대한 불공정성 인식으로 인한 소비자의 실망감은 소비자의 부정적 구전행동과 전환 의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 서비스 회복 전략의 실패로 인한 소비자의 역기능적 행동(Dysfunctional behavior)을 검증함으로써 서비스 회복과정의 공정성 인식에 관한 새로운 관점을 제시하며 관련 연구의 범위를 확장하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 소비자의 이중 이탈을 방지하기 위한 온라인 음식 배달 서비스 기업의 실무 전략 수립의 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 온라인 쇼핑몰에 대한 연구는 정보 기술과 물류 기술 등 여러 분야로 구분하고 연구해 왔다. 그러나 마케팅 관점에서 정보기술 이용에 관한 연구와 배송서비스에 대한 소비자의 인식, 소비자의 행위에 대한 동시적인 고찰 연구가 필요하다. 그리고 고객신뢰도, 지각된 가치, 고객만족, 구매의도 간의 상호관계를 파악함으로써 지속적인 고객 창출과 유지를 위해 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 나아가야 할 방향을 제시함과 아울러 경쟁력을 높이고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 실제 구매 경험이 있는 소비자를 대상으로 웹 사이트 품질과 배송 서비스, 고객만족도 및 구매의도간의 영향관계를 알아보는 것이다. 다시 말하면 먼저 기존의 문헌고찰 및 실증분석을 통해, 웹 사이트품질이 고객신뢰도와 지각된 가치에, 고객신뢰도가 고객만족과 구매의도에. 지각되는 가치가 고객만족과 구매의도에, 그리고 고객만족이 구매의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는가를 전체적인 흐름으로 이해하고, 이 개념들 간의 관계를 설명함으로써 웹 사이트 품질 향상을 위한 효율적이고도 효과적인 전략적 틀을 제시하고자 한다.

몽골인들의 인터넷 라이프스타일에 따른 패션쇼핑성향과 인터넷 쇼핑몰 서비스 지각 (Clothing Shopping Orientation and Service Perception of Online Mall according to Mongolian's Internet Lifestyle)

  • The purposes were to identify clothing shopping orientation and service perception of online shopping mall according to Mongolian's internet lifestyle. A questionnaire developed by researchers was used and 310 Mongolian in 20's were the subjects. Survey was done during Jan. and Feb. 2010. Most Mongolian used internet at home or office and had used internet less than one year. Half of Mongolian visited online shopping mall less than 5 times during last year. Most Mongolian did not buy any fashion items at online mall but had higher intention to shop at online mall. Factors of Mongolian's internet lifestyle were information search, shopping pursuit, and utilizing ability and segmented into internet heavy users and light users. Factors of fashion shopping orientation were individuality & brands, fashion, diversity, economy, pleasure, and efficiency and factors of online shopping mall service were order & delivery and products. Internet heavy users were found more frequently among married men with high income, experienced online shopping more, showed higher fashion shopping orientation, and pursued online shopping mall service more. Internet light users were among unmarried women with low income, not experienced online shopping, showed lower fashion shopping orientation, and pursued online shopping mall service less.

플랫폼 노동자의 플랫폼노동과 그림자노동: 직무소진 및 이직의도와의 관계 검증 (Platform Labor and Shadow Work of Platform Workers: Examining their Effects on Job Burnout and Turnover Intention)

  • Purpose In online delivery platforms, platform workers are required to perform both platform labor, which is compensated with immediate wages, and shadow work which is a kind of unpaid job to support the platform labor. Thus, the objective of this study is to empirically examine how platform workers' platform labor and shadow work affect their job burnout and their turnover intention in the online delivery platform context. Design/methodology/approach This study developed a research model by employing platform labor and shadow work to influence job burnout and turnover intention. This study also tested the model by partial least square techniques after collecting 169 cross-sectional data from food delivery riders in Korea. Findings This study found that both platform labor and shadow work affected platform workers' job burnout. In addition, the results showed that shadow work influenced their turnover intention while platform labor did not affect the turnover intention. Based on the results, this study contributed to relevant researchers who are interested in platform contexts by offering measurable constructs on platform labor and shadow work. In addition, this study could provide practitioners with practical implications on managing platform workers.

  • 현재 국내 많은 도서관과 여러 대여점 시설이 코로나로 인하여 운영에 제한이 있거나 중지되었다. 이에 기존 시설 이용자는 도서 대여에 불편함을 겪고 있으며, 민간 도서 대여점과 도서 대여업 산업 전반의 매출이 감소한 것을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서는 시설 사용자의 불편함과 민간 업체의 매출을 개선하기 위해 대여 서적 배달 서비스인 O2O(Offline to online) 플랫폼을 클라우드 서버에 구축하고자 한다. 플랫폼은 하이브리드 애플리케이션으로 구현하여 스마트 폰에 익숙한 신세대와 컴퓨터의 친숙한 기성세대 모두 쉽게 이용할 수 있게 구현하였으며, 이를 통해 대여점 이용자는 편리하고 안전하게 집에서 대여하고 대여점은 이용자 증가와 더불어 또 다른 홍보 수단으로 이용하여 대여점의 매출 개선을 기대할 수 있다.

Analyzing Service Failure Themes on Online Healthcare Product: Focusing on Online Consumers' Word-of-mouse

  • The emergence of the Internet has provided a new outlet for consumers who experience service failure from products and services, augmenting the traditional options of entry, voice and action. Consumers' negative word of mouth through online (word-of-mouse or eWOM) far exceeds traditional word of mouth (WOM) in respect of its potential effectiveness, speed and spread. This paper tries to figure out the service failure themes in the health care industry by analyzing online word-of-mouse using the critical incidents technique (CIT). Complaint themes in the area of healthcare are identified and analyzed. The results identify that major complaint theme differed according to the site type. Also, the findings indicate that delivery and customer services are critical issues when consumer makes negative WOM.

택배종사자의 근골격계질환 증상에 관한 연구 (Symptoms of the Musculoskeletal disorders in Delivery Workers )

  • Due to the routine nature of social distancing in accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic, the logistics industry is under rapid development, given that offline demand is focused on online platforms. The number of warehouse workplaces and workers are steadily increasing per annum, and the industrial accident rate of transportation, warehouse, and telecommunication industries to which warehouse employees belong is higher than the total industrial accident rate in Korea. In previous studies, warehouse workers reported exposure to health hazards such as musculoskeletal disorders due to the handling of heavy objects and improper working postures. Accordingly, in this study, a survey was conducted to investigate symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders with focus on parcel delivery workers nationwide. The questionnaire included a musculoskeletal disorder symptom survey table to identify information such as worker occupational history, work type, and signs or symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders. Survey response data from 453 people were obtained to determine the influence of delivery business characteristics on occupational musculoskeletal disorders, and the influencing factors were analyzed. Based on the results, in the analysis of pain with respect to body part, the duration, degree, and frequency of pain were highest in the leg part, and as a result, the average value for the leg part exhibited a significant difference from those of other body parts. In addition, 52.32% of workers exhibited symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders, and a high number of patients with musculoskeletal disorders was observed in the work group with less than three years of service and with ages ranging from 30-39. The results of this study can serve as basic data for the derivation of a management plan that meets the characteristics of musculoskeletal disorders that impact logistics workers overburdened with work due to the rapid increase in parcel delivery volume in accordance with an increase in online consumption.

단일 상품을 판매하는 인터넷 상점과 전통적인 소매점 간의 경쟁에 대한 전략적 분석 (Strategic Analysis of the Competition between Internet Seller and Conventional Retailer Selling Single Commodity)

  • The proliferation of the internet technologies and applications has intensified business activities on the Internet. This study considered the price competition between two shopping channels, one on-line seller and the other traditional off-line retailer. Based on the Hotelling's linear market model, we derive the Nash and Stackelberg equilibria as a function of the cost parameters which represent the characteristics of the online and off-line channels. By analyzing the equilibrium solutions, the following significant findings were obtained. First, pricing by Stackelberg equilibrium always outperformed that of Nash equilibrium. However the value of the cost parameters played a crucial role in determining both channels' preferred position (price leader or follower). Second, the online seller could benefit more in terms of profit by lowering its efficiency when its efficiency belongs to a certain interval. Third, when the online seller's efficiency is low, lowering its delivery cost has no contribution to its profit. To benefit more from lowering its delivery cost, increasing its channel efficiency to a certain level should be preceded.

Factors Influencing Online Shopping Intention: An Empirical Study in Vietnam

  • The study examines factors that influence shopping intention of online consumers in Vietnam. Studied factors include consumers' attitude, subjective norms, perception of behavioral control, perception of usefulness, perceived risks and trust. The expansion of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) are used as basic theories. We have surveyed people who have experiences on online shopping. There are 836 selected questionnaires that are qualified for data processing. The collected data are analyzed through a process which starts from scale reliability test to exploratory factor analysis (EFA), correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results show that shopping intention of online consumers are positively affected by their attitude, subjective norms, perception of behavioral control, perception of usefulness and trust. In contrast, online shopping intention is negatively affected by the perceived risks that online shopping could bring. Among those factors, the perception of risk is shown to have the strongest influence to online shopping intention. The findings of this study suggest that managers and retailers can apply cash-on-delivery method and design their website with user-friendly interface to enhance online shopping intention of consumers. The Government is also recommended to fulfill the law system to reduce customers' perception of financial risks.

Heckman 순서형 프로빗 모형을 이용한 소비자의 온라인 수산물 구매 결정요인 분석 (Analyzing the Determinants of Online Seafood Purchasing Using Heckman's Ordered Probit Sample-Selection Model)

  • In the post-COVID-19, the food industry is rapidly reshaping its market structure toward online distribution. Rapid delivery system driven by large distribution platforms has ushered in an era of online distribution of fresh seafood that was previously limited. This study surveyed 1,000 consumers nationwide to determine their online seafood purchasing behaviors. The research methodology used factor analysis of consumer lifestyle and Heckman's ordered probit sample-selection model. The main results of the analysis are as follows. First, quality, freshness, selling price, product reviews from other buyers, and convenience are particularly important considerations when consumers purchase seafood from online shopping. Second, online retailers and the government must prepare measures to expand seafood consumption by considering household characteristics and consumer lifestyles. Third, it was analyzed that consumers trust the quality and safety of seafood distributed online platforms. It is not possible to provide purchase incentives to consumers who consider value consumption important, so improvement measures are needed. The results of this study are expected to provide implications on consumer preferences to online platforms, seafood companies, and producers, and can be used to establish future marketing strategies.
