An Integrated On-Line Diagnostic System for the NORS Process of Maiden Reactor Project: The Design Concept and Lessons Learned

  • During an extensive review made as part of the Integrated Diagnosis System project of the Maiden Reactor Project, MOAS (Maryland Operator Advisory System) was identified as one of the most thorough systems developed thus far. MOAS is an integrated on-line diagnosis system that encompasses diverse functional aspects that are required for an effective process disturbance management: (1) intelligent process monitoring and alarming, (2) on-line sensor data validation and sensor failure diagnosis, (3) on-line hardware (besides sensors) failure diagnosis, and (4) real-time corrective measure synthesis. The MOAS methodology was used at the Maiden Man-Machine Laboratory HAMMLAB of the OECD Maiden Reactor Project. The performance of MOAS, developed in G2 real-time expert system shell for the high-pressure preheaters of the NORS process in the HAMMLAB, was tested against a variety of transient scenarios, including failures of the control valves and sensors, and tube leakage of the preheaters. These tests showed that MOAS successfully carried out its intended functions, i.e., quickly recognizing an occurring disturbance, correctly diagnosing its cause, and presenting advice on its control to the operator. The lessons learned and insights gained during the implementation and performance tests also are discussed.

캄보디아 국경연계 송전망 타당성 연구 (Feasibility Study for the cross border transmission project in Cambodia)

  • KEPCO is executing a project in Cambodia consisting of two components, "Power Development Master Plan and Institutional Strengthening" and "Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Power Project Preparation" upon request by the government of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy of Cambodia, contracted on $29^{th}$ September 2005. This paper includes a basic design and review of economical efficiency for constructing the two (2) cross border 115 kV transmission lines, which run from the border of Vietnam and Laos to Cambodia, and four (4) 115kV substations. The main contents of the paper include the process of design and results of a review of line route selection, tower and hardware design regarding transmission line design, as well as the type of substation, and arrangement and specifications of equipment with expects to substation design. Also, long-term demand forecasting, and an economic analysis of the project area are included.

중국 온라인게임 산업의 게임사용자 재구매 행위 결정요인에 관한 연구: 온라인평가의 조절효과 분석 (An Analysis of determinant on Repurchase Behavior of Game User in Chinese online game industry: moderation effect of online review)

  • 2001년 중국시장에서의 한국 온라인게임의 큰 성과에도 불구하고, 2006년 이후 중국내 위치는 점점 축소되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 소비자의 '인지-감정-행위(의도)' 간 관계에서 재이용행위 결정요인과 온라인평가의 조절 효과에 관한 연구모형을 설정하였다. 설문조사를 통하여 회수된 자료를 사용하여 조절회귀 분석을 활용하여 실증분석을 하였다. 분석결과를 보면 재구매 행위에 대해 인지가치와 충성도가 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 온라인평가는 부분적으로 조절 효과를 가졌다. 또한 학력이 통제변수로서 재구매 행위에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 게임업체는 게임개발 시 인지가치와 신뢰/충성도에 영향을 미치는 가격, 품질관리, 정보관리에 주의하여야 하겠으며, 온라인평가의 정확한 분석 결과 등을 잘 활용해야 하겠다.

  • The hold clamp which is for holding feeder distribution line in direct current can be lengthened its span of life by inserting insulators(EDPM rubber) through improving its function such as preventing damage from temperature change and electric corrosion. This paper reviews the development background, design, manufacture and performance assessment of the hold clamp inserting insulators to prevent circulating current.

IPTV 도입에 따른 온라인 게임 산업의 변와 시나리오 개발 및 경영 전략 수립 (Developing the On-line Game Industry's Changing Scenario and Establishing Business Strategy According to the Introduction of IPTV)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 게임 산업의 구조적인 변화와 IPTV 환경변화에 초점을 두고 IPTV 도입에 따른 게임 산업의 변화를 시나리오 플래닝을 통해 제시해 보았다. 분석의 절차는 IPTV 도입과 관련하여 온라인 게임 산업에서 제기 되고 있는 핵심이슈들을 선별하고 각 이슈 별로 주요 추세와 불확실성요인들을 분석하여 IPTV 도입에 따른 온라인 게임 산업의 변화 양상을 논리적인 시나리오들로 제시하였다. 그리고 미래 발생 가능한 시나리오에 따른 온라인 게임 업체들의 전략적 대응 방안의 방향성을 제시하였다. 시나리오 수립에 앞서 온라인 게임 산업의 디지털 콘텐츠로써 고유한 특성과 IPTV 환경변화에 따른 산업 구조적인 변화를 반영하기 위해 디지털 콘텐츠 가치사슬 분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 통해 시나리오의 핵심이슈를 도출하고 각각에 영향을 미치는 영향요인들을 도출하였으며, 영향력과 불확실성 정도에 따라 이들 영향요인을 각각 주요추세와 불확실성 요인으로 분류할 수 있었다. 이중 불확실성이 크고 영향력이 높은 요인들을 핵심문제로 정의하였다. 이들 분석 결과를 바탕으로 형태학적 분석기법을 통해 시나리오를 수립하였다. 수립된 시나리오를 바탕으로 최종적으로 IPTV 도입에 따른 온라인 게임 환경 변화 상황에서 기업이 선택 가능한 전략적 대안의 방향을 제시하였다.

  • In electrification of the Honam line, the grounding method of the copper wire shield of 66kV feeder cable was disputed. This paper describes that the review of the proper earthing method(one-side earthing or both-side earthing) under consideration of the site condition and the acceptability of the induction voltage of the shield on the end of the cable.

JIT 상황하에서 다품종 조립라인 작업물 투입 순서 결정 방안 (Sequencing for a mixed model assembly line in just-in-time production system)

  • In mixed model assembly lines, products are assembled seqeuntially that have different combination of options specified by customers. In just in time (JIT) environment, production smoothing becomes an important issue for sub-lines which supply the necessary parts to each workstation of the assembly line. Another important issue is to avoid line stopping caused by work overload in workstations. To find a sequence which minimizes the costs associated with line stoppage and the option parts inventory level, a nonlinear mixed integer programming is formulated. Recognizing the limit of the Branch and Bound technique in large sized problems, a heuristic solution procedure is proposed. The performance of the heuristic is compared with the Branch and Bound technique through randomly generated test problems. The computational results indicate that on the average the heuristic solutions deviate approximately 3.6% from the optimal solutions.

대학에서의 블렌디드 수업에 관한 소고 -수업 선호도를 중심으로- (The Understanding of the blended instruction in the College focused on the preference to the type of blended instruction)

  • Expectations and interests in blended learning are increasing as universities respond to the educational flow of transition to e-lernring. This study tried to explore and understand the meaning of and the properties of blended instruction. In addition, through the literature review, this study was to find out how bleanded learning affected in teaching and learning situation. Particularly, it was to find out students' preference to the type of blended instruction. Those types are the mixed of or the unique of class instruction(off line), on line, and recorded instruction. To investigate learners' preference to the type of the instruction and also the reason of the preference, in this study, the 27 undergraduate students of the fourth grade in the major of mathematics education in the C university located in G area. By the result, most students preferred the mixed type of instruction involving off line and recorded instruction. The reason is that they could attend to the class while participating in the group activity positively and understand the content through the communication in depth and the instructor's feedback. Because of this reason, they did not prefer to the only one type insturction such as the recorded type.

도시철도 무인운전에 대한 사례분석 연구 (Case Study of the Manless Operation of Urban Transit)

  • Urban transit operation is to manipulate the vehicle or train of urban transit to be operated on the basis of the installations such as track, power, communication, signaling and so on. It can be performed by manual or automated, or manned or manless operation considering its system built, operation efficiency, safety, etc. Because of the heavy impact directly to the safety of passenger transport, it has been managed strictly by the Regulation for Train Operation of Urban Transit according to Urban Transit Act. However, the present regulation has been basis of the manual operation mainly, it is crossing beyond the limitation of application to the manless operation which is being introduced moment to moment. It is needed increasingly to revise the regulation for the manless operation which is close at hand now. In this paper, we examined and analysed the cases of manless operation of urban transit planed within the country such as Busan 4th Line, Shinbundang Line, Busan-Kimhae Line, etc. based on the present regulation, and proposed the review of considerations to reflec the manless operation to the regulation to be revised.
