서울 도시철도 9호선의 운영분야 혁신방안 (Renovation plans of operation field of Seoul Metro Line 9)

  • Seoul Metro Line 9 (SML9) is the first subway line that private capital invests in Korea. SML9 will cross Seoul, linking the Gimpo Airport to the Gangnam district (25.5km) opening in the first half of 2009. SML9 has a new model in Korea constructed by metropolitan government and private company and operated by specialized public transportation service provider. SML9 is confronted with tough environment of stagnated public transportation and strong competitor, Olympic city expressway. And SML9 is under pressure for showing high efficiency as non-governmental organization from both customers and government. Consequently SML9 must lead the maximum efficiency by using its material and human resource. It is necessary that SML9 raise a competitive power and display its ability in active collaboration with relative organization and company. Hereupon, I propose renovation plans from viewpoint of operation field of SML9, (1) efficient train scheduling regime focusing on the combination of express and local train (2) close connection of other mean of transportation and (3) effective connection convention with Airport Railroad (AREX) as the line connected directly.

Determination of Fleet Size for LTL Transportation With Dynamic Demand

  • This study suggests an approach for determining fleet size for LTL (less -than-truckload) transportation with dynamic demand for on-time supply of the parts between the assembly line in an automobile company and its part suppliers in Korea. The vehicles operated by the transportation trucking companies in Korea in general can be classified into three types depending on the ways how their expenses occur; company -owned truck, mandated truck which is owned by outsider who entrusts the company with its operation, and rented truck (outsourcing) . With the forecasted monthly production data a year, a heuristic algorithm is developed to determine the number of company-owned trucks, mandated trucks, and rented trucks in order to minimize the expected annual operating cost, which is based on the solution technologies used in the aggregate production planning and vehicle routing problem. Finally the algorithm is tested for the problem how the trucking company transports parts for the automobile company.

  • Recently, the principal processes of T/L design tend to computerize and therefore integrated T/L design system has been developed. Since, it makes the automatic selection of T/L route, tower position and optimum design possible, computerized design method is applied all over the world. KEPCO introduced Optimal PowerLINE for T/L design in Myanmar 500kV project that is as a part of overseas project. And as a result of that work, effective and economical design was carried out. This paper presents the comparative analysis between Previous method and Optimal PowerLINE method for investigating practical application to Myanmar 500kV T/L design.

The marriage between Lean manufacturing and 6 sigma has proven to be a powerful tool for cutting waste and improving the organization operations. Time and quality are the most important metrics in improving any company's production and profit performance. lean 6 sigma is a management innovation for improving production efficiency, process quality, cost reduction, investment efficiency and customer's satisfaction. in this paper, Advanced cell line is builded the home appliance goods of the LCD TV final assembly line of domestic company line, training the multi-skilled man and controlling the production information system based on Lean 6 sigma.

  • Currently the settlement system which is used at credit card settlement from the member store of the off-line credit card is composed of the credit card settlement terminal, the VAN company which does a settlement relay service and the credit card company. When the obstacle occurs from the credit card company, the VAN company which does a settlement relay service conducts an approval vicarious execution, but when the obstacle occurs from the VAN company, the credit card settlement service is not accomplished smoothly. The dissertation proposes the credit card settlement system which receives a settlement relay service that credit card settlement terminal uses a telegram conversion Agent from other VAN company when the VAN company obstacle occurs.

동기화 생산을 위한 조달물류 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the improvement of procurement logistics for synchronous manufacturing)

  • In automobile company it is needed to establish the collaborative relationship between the assembly company and the part manufacturing company. In this paper we established the improvement for the procurement logistics and logistics in assembly company and thus we derived the near optimal procurement cycle through the simple EXCEL simulation and the improved inventory management method for H automobile company in CHINA. At this time we adopted the pull manufacturing process instead of push manufacturing process. We resulted that the manufacturing activity of both companies was stabilized and the usage of storage area in assembly company was reduced by 50%, especially it was reduced by 100% in the case of directly delivering the parts to assembly line through the third party logistics company.

  • 기계적에너지를 전기적에너지로 변환하는 발전기를 내 외부 고장으로부터 보호하기 위해 보호계전기가 설치되어 있으며, 이러한 보호계전기의 동작신호 중 하나인 전압신호를 검출하기 위해 발전기와 변압기를 연결하는 모선에 설치된 계기용변성기를 이용한다. 본 논문은 발전기의 보호계전기용 계기용변성기 손상원인에 관한 연구로서, 계기용변성기의 철공진에 이한 손상가능성을 고찰하였고 발전소에 많이 사용되는 G사의 계기용변성기와 손상된 I사의 계기용변성기에 대한 전기적 시험결과를 비교하였으며, 계기용변성기를 직접 절개하여 제작 및 적용특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 발전기 전압신호 검출용 계기용변성기는 발전기 중성점 접지형태에 관계없이 반드시 Line to Line type을 적용해야 함을 도출했다.

온라인.오프라인 기업(企業)의 명성(名聲), 신뢰성(信賴性), 사업영역(事業領域) 유사성(類似性)이 신규(新規) 의류(衣類)브랜드 태도(態度)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of on-line and off-line Corporate Reputation, Credibility and the Similarity of Business Area on the Consumer's Attitude toward the Clothing Products with Brand)

  • This study is, to the special company with corporate brand, to investigate the effect of its reputation, credibility and the similarity of business area on consumer's attitude toward its clothing products. It is another topic of the study to reveal statistical significance in comsumer's attitude when naming new product with two different brand strategy. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, there was positive relationship between corporate reputation and consumer's attitude toward new brand and also between corporate credibility and consumer's that. Second, corporate credibility is proven to be grown in proportion to company's reputation. In other words, a corporate credibility is grown with a corporate reputation. Third, the influence of similarity or fitness of business area has a positive effect on a attitude toward new brand. The case of use the new brand name, the variable had low effect on attitude toward new brand, comparing to the case of use the existing brand name but seems to be statistically significant. Fourth, comparing to the inclination toward company's product based on brand name, strategy of supporting brand extension is more effective than that of new brand name on evaluating company's reputation, credibility and the similarity of business area. Fifth, the similarity of business area and the interaction of brand name on the basis of the strategy of use the existing brand name(;brand extension strategy) and new one have significant effect on the inclination to a brand. When participating a new business, it is more effective that a company is extending its business where the similarity of business area is growing. For the case of low similarity, the brand-new strategy is proven to be effective.

A Practical Power System Stabilizer Tuning Method and its Verification in Field Test

  • This paper deals with parameter tuning of the Power System Stabilizer (PSS) for 612 MVA thermal power plants in the KEPCO system and its validation in a field test. In this paper, the selection of parameters, such as lead-lag time constants for phase compensation and system gain, is optimized using linear and eigenvalue analyses. This is then verified through the time-domain transient stability analysis. In the next step, the performance of PSS is finally verified by the generator's on-line field test. After the field test, measured and simulated data are also compared to prove the effectiveness of the models used in the simulations.
