녹색기술 정보수요 분석을 통한 서비스 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on Service Enhancement using Information Demand Analysis of Green Technologies)

  • 정보서비스는 개방형 혁신, 참여자 중심, Web 2.0 등으로 인해 변화하고 있으며, 정보 수요 분석을 통한 서비스 전략 연구의 중요성은 더 강조되고 있다. 정보 수요를 어떻게 파악하고 분류하는가와 정보서비스 개선 관점에서 어떻게 활용가능한지는 정보서비스 개선 연구에서 중요한 이슈이다. 본 연구에서는 녹색기술 정보이용자를 대상으로 수요 분석 결과를 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 서비스 개선 방안을 제시한다. 정보유형, 부가기능, 오픈이노베이션 니즈에 대해 소속기관, 담당업무, 종사분야와의 상관관계를 각각 분석한 결과, 종사분야와 세 개의 니즈가 약한 양의 상관관계에 있음을 확인하였으며, 녹색기술 정보서비스에 있어서 종사분야별로 서비스 전략을 차별화하는 것이 유의미함을 밝혔다. 각 정보/기능 니즈와 교차분석을 통해 종사분야별 니즈에 맞는 서비스 전략을 제시한 것은 녹색기술 정보서비스 방향을 점검하는 데 있어 본 연구가 기여한 바이다.

저가항공사 선택속성 IPA분석 연구 (Study on Choice Attributes for Low-Cost Carriers Using IPA)

  • Air travel demand has recently been growing and establishment and operation of low-cost carriers have been increased. Against this backdrop, low-cost carriers need to figure out diversified customer demand for low-cost carriers and ways to maximize marketing efficiency before applying it to the field so that they can attain superiority to large carriers in increased intensified competition. Low-cost carriers need to be differentiated from other carriers for the purpose of improving profits. Toward this end, this study conducted analysis on importance and satisfaction with carrier choice using IPA with regard to low-cost carrier customers. In conclusion, the paper accurately examined advantages and disadvantages of low-cost carriers compared to general carriers based on results of IPA analysis and suggested managerial strategies to enhance competitiveness based on division into four parts including maintenance and enforcement (1st quadrant, Delay compensation, Booking rapidity, Check rapidity, Crew service, refund service, baggage service, punctuality, transit services, airlines images), concentrated improvement (2nd quadrant, price, Convenience of seat), passive administration (3rd quadrant, Boarding service, cabin cleanliness, flight schedule, whether local crew on board, meal service, in-flight entertainment service), and enhanced satisfaction (4th quadrant, duty-free service, Variety of routes), so that practical suggestions could be presented to employees working in the field.

택배네트워크의 운영효율성 증진을 위한 시스템 사고 (System Thinking for Increasing the Operational Efficiency of Door-to-door Delivery Network)

  • With steady increase in the demand for door-to-door delivery services, courier service providers are facing a constant pressure to reduce delivery price in order to secure quantity order and to improve the efficiency and reliability for customer service. The objective of this research is to explain the structure of the door-to-door delivery including door-to-door delivery service demand, sorting capacity in the hub-terminal, and the system performance measures such as service reliability networks using causal loop diagram(CLD). Based on causal relation, this research describes a comprehensive approach to examine how capacity reliability contributes to the renewal of the firm's competences through its reciprocal relationship with travel time reliability and connectivity reliability. Also, this research suggests the policy alternatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency of door-to-door delivery network in response to increase customer satisfaction and profit maximization of the courier service providers: operational, tactical, and strategic levels.

  • 수요대응형 교통수단(Demand Responsive Transit)은 변화하는 이동수요에 대응하는 탄력적인 교통수단으로 단순히 노약자와 장애인을 위한 복지교통 서비스의 영역이 아니라, 무선통신과 위치정보서비스(Location Based Service: LBS)의 발달로 인하여 도심형 수단으로 보다 효율적인 교통수단으로 자리매김하고 있다. 그러나 문전서비스(Door-to-Door)를 제공하는 수요대응형 교통수단 시뮬레이션에 적합한 상용툴의 부재로 인하여 알고리즘이나 차량 운행 요소를 면밀하게 분석하기 힘든 어려움이 있었다. 본 연구는 수요대응형 교통수단에 연관된 다양한 차량 운영계획과 알고리즘을 구현, 평가할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 환경을 제안한다. 문전서비스(Door-to-Door) 기반의 차량 운행 모형을 적용하기 위하여 확보되어야 하는 시뮬레이션 입력 데이터를 정의하고 있으며, 수요대응형 교통수단의 대표적인 범주에 속하는 실시간 합승 택시(Shared-Taxi) 서비스를 서울시 교통망과 택시 수요를 이용하여 적용하였다. 합승 택시 운행 계획을 위하여 Nearest Vehicle Dispatch(NVD)와 Insertion Heuristic(IH), 두 종류의 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 제안된 시뮬레이션을 통하여 성능을 비교하였다. 또한, 합승(Ride-sharing)을 허용하지 않는 일반적인 택시와의 비교를 통하여 시스템 효율 향상과 서비스 품질 변화를 분석하였다.

매장 내 제품가용성 지표를 활용한 유통재고 관리방안 제고 (Retail Channel Inventory Management via In-Stock Ratio Measure)

  • This paper makes a detailed comparison between two metrics designed for measuring customer's satisfaction in the retail industry. The first metric, which is called the customer service level, has not been widely used due to the intrinsic requirement on the parameter assumption(s) of the demand distribution. Unlike the customer service level metric the in stock ratio metric does not require any requirements on the demand distribution. And the in stock ratio metric is also very easy to understand the meaning. To develop the detailed planning activities for business with the in stock ratio metric on hand one should collect some information as following : 1) POS (Point of sales) data, 2) Inventory Data 3) Inventory Trend.

생산자서비스의 지역적 연계 -진주지역을 중심으로- (Regional linkages of Producer Service -A Case Study of Chinju Region-)

  • 이 논문은 진주지역을 사례로 생산자 서비스와 제조업의 지역적 연계를 연구하고자 하였다. 서비스경제화 과정에 있는 한국경제에서 생산자서비스 부문은 가장 빠르게 성장하는 서비스이다. 진주지역 제조업체들은 일반화된 생산자서비스는 가까운 진주지역에서 구입하고 있으나 고차계층의 서비스일수록 대도시 특히 서울로의 지향이 강하다. 제조업 업종별 생산자서비스의 연계패턴은 유사하며, 진주와 경남지역 출신 제조업체 경영자들이 타 시도 출신자보다 강한 지역연계를 보였다. 진주지역 생산자서비스 공급에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 공공적 생산자서비스는 현 단계에서는 지역의 수출기반산업의 역할보다 지역내의 제조업들에게 각종 생산기술관련정보과 서비스를 제공하는 수준이다. 진주지역의 대기업은 고차서비스를 지역외부로부터 조달하며 소규모 기업은 지역내 생산자서비스 이용상태가 저조하다. 지역에서 공급되는 생산자서비스가 지역내 제조업체들이 이용하기에 너무 높거나 아니면 기업활동에 크게 도움되지 못한다는 적실성의 문제로부터 지역경제 발전을 위한 적절한 생산자서비스 육성이라는 지역정책적인 함의를 도출할 수 있다.

Generalized Proxy-Assisted Periodic Broadcasting (G-ProB) for Heterogeneous Clients in Video-on-Demand Service

  • Video-on-Demand services are increasing rapidly nowadays. The load on servers can be very high, even exceeding their capacity. For popular contents, we can use a Periodic Broadcast (PB) strategy using multicast to serve all clients. Recent development of PB uses multiple channels broadcasting for segments of movies in certain patterns, so that users only need to wait for a small segment to start the service. However, users need higher download capacity to download multiple segments at a time. In order to compensate for this, a proxy server can help to reduce download bandwidth requirements by holding some segments for a certain time. This research will focus on more recent PB schemes that couldn't be covered by previous Proxy-Assisted Periodic Broadcast strategies.

PTT Service Interworking Between IMS Based Networks and P2P Overlay Networks

  • The demand for multimedia streaming services is increasing rapidly. To meet this demand, there has been much research and many practical developments for providing multimedia services. A push-to-talk (PTT) service is one of the multimedia streaming services that have been deployed not only over IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) but also in peer-to-peer (P2P) overlay networks. The benefit of PTT has been demonstrated in the literature. However, the need for using PTT service in communication can be arbitrary among users, regardless what kind of PTT services they use. This demand does not support current PTT systems, so an expansion of PTT services still be limited. Moreover, the combination of PTT services in IMS and P2P networks will help operators to provide more scalable PTT services. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a model to support PTT service interworking between IMS and P2P overlay networks. We also introduced our system design and some interworking service scenarios. We confirmed our architecture through implementation and testing.

Analysis of Multi-Level Inventory Distribution System for an Item with Low Level of Demand

  • The main objective of this research is to analyze an order point and an order quantity of a distribution center and each branch to attain a target service level in multi-level inventory distribution system. In case of product item, we use the item with low volume of average monthly demand. Under the continuous review method, the distribution center places a particular order quantity to an outside supplier whenever the level of inventory reaches an order point, and receives the order quantity after elapsing a certain lead time. Also, each branch places an order quantity to the distribution center whenever the level of inventory reaches an order point, and receives the quantity after elapsing a particular lead time. When an out of stock condition occurs, we assume that the item is backordered. For considering more realistic situations, we use generic type of probability distribution of lead times. In the variable lead time model, the actually achieved service level is estimated as the expected service level. Therefore, this study focuses on the analysis of deciding the optimal order point and order quantity to achieve a target service level at each depot as a expected service level, while the system-wide inventory level is minimized. In addition, we analyze the order level as a maximum level of inventory to suggest more efficient way to develop the low demand item model.

  • Logistics companies are worrying about securing of differential competitiveness so as to be competitive companies in keen logistics market. The ground is how users are satisfied by sell-established service system to respond not only economic feasibility of logistics costs but also diversity and advancement of logistics needs. The competitiveness of logistics companies is also caused by customer satisfaction of service and only companies finding and satisfying customer needs continuously may be more competitive. For the competitiveness, it's the most important to analyze demands of current and potential customers and their pursuing value properly. Therefore, this researcher grasped PSL for online logistics service users with 5-point Likert-scale and quality-level decision method that consider the weighted value based on Kano model, measured customer's potential Demand for service through PCDI, and suggested methodology for deciding the priority of the improvement with loss function of Taguchi.
