Voice Recognition Sensor Driven Elevator for High-rise Vertical Shift (동굴관광용 고층수직이동 승강기의 긴급 음성구동 제어)

  • Recently, it is one of very interest technology of Human Computer Interaction(HCI). Nowadays, it is easy to find out that, for example, inside SF movies people has talking to computer. However, there are difference between CPU language and ours. So, we focus on connecting to CPU. For 30 years many scientists experienced in that technology. But it is really difficult. Our project goal is making that CPU could understand human voice. First of all the signal through a voice sensor will move to BCD (binary code). That elevator helps out people who wants to move up and down. This product's point is related with people's safety. Using a PWM for motor control by ATmega16, we choose a DC motor to drive it because of making a regular speed elevator. Furthermore, using a voice identification module the elevator driven by voice sensor could operate well up and down perfectly from 1st to 10th floor by PWM control with ATmega16. And, it will be clearly useful for high-rise vertical shift with voice recognition sensor driven.

  • In this paper we propose an extended interleaving technique to improve a detailed placement. The existing row-based interleaving technique allows cells to move only within a row and it can be applied when there is no space between cells. The proposed extended-interleaving technique releases such constraints so that cells can move along with a vertical line parallel to a y-axis and space between cells is properly handled. Converged detailed-placements by a mature CAD tool have been improved by the proposed interleaving technique by 9.5% on average in half-perimeter wire length.

  • Developed is an optical auto-inspection system to detect some microscopic defects on the Inside surface of the hydraulic automobile brakes at the production line. A small cylindrical detection module with a solid laser source at its center has two rings of optical fibers to separately collect light reflected and scattered from the defects on the surface.   • Stage costumes perform not only the instrumental but also the expressive functions. The major goal of this study is to develop the functional and aesthetic costume designs for musical players considering the characteristics of instruments, players' postures. This study will increase the related market size and the players' choices and move aurally and visually more. The scope of this study is restricted to the musical costumes for female adult soloists playing the wind and string instruments. This study is composed of theory research, empirical research and manufacturing a real costume.

  • This paper describes the mobile robot system to recognize the guidance tape, and presents the locomotion algorithm. It is composed of image processing unit, A/ID converter and camera. This system converts video image to binary image by setting an optimal threshold and obtains the parameters to move the robot. The mobile robot moves according to the programmed route in memory. But after recognized the obstacle on the locomotion route, this system constructs the new route and the robot moves following the new route.

  • When grasping a movable object or making an object move, humans feel kinesthetic sense. Kinesthetic sense is the human sense that the human feels in response to the motion acted on the human. The objecive of the paper is tranforming the kinesthetic sense to quantitized data that is useful from the viewpoint of engineering. To provide various motion patterns, 2-dimensional motion generator was built using 2-axis linear motors. Active stiffness and active damping were implemented by means of current control and force feedback techniques. Based on Taguchi method, the most dominant factors to affect kinesthetic sense were investigated. Also, some functions adequate to quantize the kinesthetic sense were found.

  • Dissipative particle dynamics simulations of bead-spring dumbbell models under microchannel flow were performed and the effects of the deformation on their migration behavior were discussed. Dumbbells were found to migrate toward the walls or the channel center depending on the stiffness. Stiff dumbbells migrated toward the walls. In any cases, the dumbbells were found to have a stronger tendency to move toward the channel center in more deformable conditions.

  • A study on film water flow on steep open channel has been seldom found up to date. Therefore, this paper dealed with the depth variation of film thickness of water (city supply normal water) flowing on steep open channel. For this purpose, Experimental apparatus (made of a normal glass with 160cm of length and 15cm of width) was made and the depths of the water flowing on the channel were measured experimentally, changing the channel slope angle from 30 to 80 degree (5 steps) and the flow rate from 0.25 to 10CPM (11 steps). The results obtained, some characteristics of the film flow on the channel are as follows. (1) When thin film water flowed on steep open channel, the depths of flow tended to increase after decreasing and was kept nearly constant in its downstream in case of laminar and transitional flow region. The turining point of the depths of flow from decrease to increase tended to move downward with the increase of Reynolds number. In turbulent flow region, the depths of flow showed reapid decrease in its upper stream, gradual decrease in its midstream and were kept nearly constant in its downstream. (2) While the differences between the depths of flow along the channel slope got small in its upper stream and got large in its downstream in case of laminar flow region, they got very large in its upper stream and were kept nearly constant in its downstream in case of transitional and turbulent flow region. And the move flow rate increases, the more the differences between the depths of flow along the channel slope got large in its upper stream.

  • Let G be a connected graph. A pebbling move on a graph G is the movement of taking two pebbles off from a vertex and placing one of them onto an adjacent vertex. The pebbling number f(G) of a connected graph G is the least n such that any distribution of n pebbles on the vertices of G allows one pebble to be moved to any specified, but arbitrary vertex by a sequence of pebbling moves. In this paper, the pebbling numbers of the compositions of two graphs are computed.
