  • The purposes of this study were to investigate factors affecting addictive shopping behavior and to compare the factors affecting between on-line and off-line addictive shopping. Four hundred eighty-nine female college students who have purchased fashion goods on-line shopping or off-line shopping were surveyed. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were used. As the results, 15.5% of respondents were revealed as addictive buyers. Approximately 18% and 13% of subjects were revealed as on-line addictive buyers and off-line addictive buyers. There were statistically significant differences between addictive buyers and non-addictive buyers regarding self-mastery, depression, stress, and impulse. Addictive consumption scores were correlated to lower self-mastery, higher depression, and higher stress. Factors such as self-mastery, stress, impulse showed differences between on-line and off-line addictive buyers. Also, there were statistically significant differences between on-line and off-line addictive buyers. Based on these results, fashion social responsibility marketing strategies and implications regarding on-line and off-line shopping addiction would be suggested.

  • This study explores the differences in product evaluation and approach behaviors as well as the effects of product evaluation on approach behaviors of utilitarian and hedonic products in on-line and off-line settings. A total of 332 subjects participated in the experiments to assess product evaluation and approach behaviors for utilitarian and hedonic clothing products in on-line and off-line settings. The results show that even though the same stimulus was presented, consumers' product evaluation of utilitarian clothing (i.e., t-shirts) was higher in the off-line setting than in the on-line setting while the approach behavior of hedonic clothing was better in the on-line setting than in the off-line setting. In addition, color was a crucial factor generating positive approach behaviors for utilitarian clothing while style and quality were core factors influencing the approach behaviors of hedonic products in an on-line setting. There was no consistency in the results of the important factors affecting approach behaviors of utilitarian and hedonic clothing in an off-line setting. The conclusion suggests implications for marketing based upon the results of this study.

  • This study addresses some solutions of the technical problem of using e-money systems. The solutions are on/off line e-money, one card, ordering system, and card-card settlement system etc. The alternatives are described as source code in the example of Angel Plus e-money. E-money is classified as IC card(off-line) type and net work(on-line) type. But, They should be integrated. End-users want to use the combined card for its conveniences. This research introduces on/off line e-money with a case study. On the basis of this paper, future research is to be further conducted on the Customer-oriented e-money with multiple functions.

  • There exists no precedented case of quantity take-off, using parametric modeling, from BIM-based irregular structures. Civil 3D provides earthwork quantity take-off based on surface modeling. Generally, designers should enter data into the specification additionally after extracting quantity estimation from earthwork modeling design. The objective of this report is to suggest the method from quantity take-off to specification of BIM-based earthwork quantities. We intend to investigate earthwork take-off method by Civil3D and explain why parametric information extraction is required for quantity estimation and specification and how information of earthwork quantity based on solid and surface modeling is connected to open quantity take-off module. It is highly expected that this suggestion would be the practical methodology of earthwork quantity take-off and specification in the field of civil engineering.

  • The purpose of this paper is to determine the cut off flowrate regions of the overflow valve in using L.P gas vassels. The experimental methods were employed to measure the cut off flowrate in the state of constant pressure by using the $N_2$ gas. 1) To determine the optimum cut off flowrate regions, Hose length are required 0.5 meters. 2) Cut off fowrate regions about the each pressure can be suggested as follows. A) Cut off flowrate rigions are $2.0-4.0m^3/hr$ at the pressure of the $1Kg_f/cm^2$. B) Cut off flowrate rigions are$7.0-10.0m^3/hr$ at the pressure of the $10Kg_f/cm^2$.

  • Diagnostics of plasma density is a key factor for monitoring plasma processing. Various probes are invented to measure plasma density and cut-off probe is a one of the most promising diagnostics tool for measuring plasma density. However, at the low density or high pressure the cut-off probe cannot clearly resolve the cut-off peak. Several reasons make this problem: Cut-off likes peaks caused by cavity resonances and weaken transmission spectrum signal at high pressure. Recently, You et al., have researched mechanism of cut-off probe and we improve the cut-off reliability and sensitivity base on that research. Modified cut-off antenna is adapted and bias cut-off probe method is tried. These experiment results have good agreement with the previous study and show good measurement characteristics.

  • Solid propulsion systems have simple structures compared to other propulsion systems and are suitable for long-term storage. However the systems generally have limits on control of thrust levels. In this paper we introduce controllers for combustion chamber pressure using on-off control techniques which have been known for relatively easy implementation and energy efficiency. For this, we use a simple pressure change model by considering only mass conservation within the combustion chamber and we design a classical controllers and on-off controllers with are Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) and Pulse Width Pulse Frequency Modulation (PWPFM). Then we compare the performance results of the controllers through numerical simulations.

  • This Study was conducted, during the period of 8-16th, August in 1977 and 27th, January through 2, Feburury in 1978, to measure laking off and on time for patient's clothes at the radiologic department in general hospitals. The study dealt with three general hospitals which were classified into groups by ownerships; two university hospitals, one private hospitals. The scope of the study was limited to measurement's of taking off and on time except taking a radiograph. The results were summarized as follows: [1] In Summer, the average taking off ana on tine for male was 3 minutes and 7 seconds and 3 minutes and 43 seconds for female. The latter was longer than that for the former. [2] In Winter, the mean taking off and on time for male was 3 minutes 42 seconds, 4 minutes 17 seconds for female. [3] In this respect, the average taking off and on time for female was longer than that for male and that for winter was expended that for summer. [4] In Summer, regardless of age group and sex, the average taking off and on time for taking a radiograph was 3 minutes 25 seconds, and 3 minuteds 59 seconds in Winter. [5] Regardless of season, sen, and age, the mean time expended to take off and on for taking a radiograph was 3 minutes 43 seconds.

  • Partial discharge(PD) test can be performed either when the rotating machine is not operating(off-line) or during normal machine operation(on-line). This paper presents an on-line and off-line PD test on a large hydro-generator and induction motor using the same PD acquisition system(PDAS) and ceramic coupler(CC) sensor. PD signal characteristics of CC sensor proved similar with that of epoxy mica coupler(EMC) sensor as a results of PD test for simulated defect winding and frequency response test. A comparison of on-line and off-line PD test for PD characteristic parameters-phase resolved PD(PRPD), maximum PD value(Qmax) and PD occurrence energy(POE)-indicated that on-line PD test could reliably and effectively diagnose insulation conditions which were verified by off-line PD test.

  • The object of ATM network is to the guarantee quality of service(QoS). Therefore, various of traffic management schemes have been proposed. Among these schemes, call admission control(CAC) is very important to provide real-time services and ON-OFF model, which is single source traffic model, has been used. But ON-OFF model differ from GCRA(Generic Cell Rate Algorithm) controlled traffic in ATM network. In this paper, we analyze the traffic, which is controlled as dual GCRA, and propose TWM(Three-state Worst-case Model), which is new single source traffic model. We also proposed CAC to guarantee peak-to-peak CDV(Cell Delay Variation) based on the TWM. In experiments, ON-OFF model and TWM are compared to show that TWM is superior to ON-Off model in terms of QoS guaranteeing.
