Office dA의 디자인 프로세스에 나타나는 디지털 물성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Digital Materiality in Office dA's Architectural Design Process)

  • The notion of materiality in architecture has existed throughout its history, and it has begun to discussed in earnest as an important architectural discourse since early twentieth century, when the Industrial Revolution and its consequent mass-production system has fundamentally changed the means and methods of architectural production. However, this traditional notion of materiality is not fully engaged with today's digital paradigm, and not able to inquire into the complex aspects of contemporary architectural process, because their theoretical and perceptional bases are still remaining in modern era. In this shifting context, this study is intended to develop a new concept of digital materiality which corresponding to contemporary digital and material culture. This paper speculates and argues digital materiality as an active ingredients of contemporary design process as well as a comprehensive logical system that negotiate with various geometric conditions. The purpose of this study is to analyze and investigates the distinctive characteristics of Office dA's architectural design process in the digital realm.

업무용 건축물에 적용된 단열재의 경년열화에 따른 열손실량 분석 (Analysis of Heat Loss Due to Time Dependent Aging of Insulation Applied to Office Building)

  • In this study, the change of heat loss due to the degree of deterioration of the XPS insulation in KEPCO's office buildings is analyzed. The acceleration aging test of the XPS insulation was carried out according to the test method A of KS M ISO 11561: 2009. The performance of the insulation was analyzed by applying it to the three - dimensional steady state heat transfer analysis program. The acceleration aging test of the XPS insulation, show that the thermal resistance performance decreased by 1.44% at the A regional headquarters, 0.85% at the B regional headquarters, 6.41% at the C branch office, 7.76% at the D regional headquarters, 8.51% at the E branch office, and by 8.54% at the F branch office respectively. Using simulation, we determined that the thermal resistance value of E branch office decreased by 8.04%, while its heat loss increased by 8.52%. At A regional headquarters, the thermal resistance decreased by 1.38%, and the heat loss increased by 1.51%. At D regional headquarters, these value are 6.82% and 7.17%, respectively.

  • 한가지 유형의 엔진 여러 개를 번들로 묶어서 발사체 제품군을 개발하는 전략은 SpaceX와 그들의 재사용 발사체 Falcon 9과 Falcon Heavy에 의해 입증되었다. 이 연구에서 우리는 35톤급 메탄 다단 연소 사이클 엔진을 이용한 잠재적인 발사체 제품군을 제시하였으며, 다양한 우주 임무에서 그것들의 유용성과 성능을 평가하였다. 예를 들어, Falcon 9의 한국형 버전은 소모성 모드에시 500 km SSO에 약 4.7톤의 탑재체를 투입할 수 있는 반면에, 해상에 착륙하는 모드에서는 약 2.16톤의 탑재량으로 줄어들게 된다. Falcon Heavy의 한국형 버전은 나로우주센터에서 발사되었을 때, 4.4톤을 GTO에 투입할 수 있으며, 이는 이 공통부스터코어 구성이 높은 경사각에도 불구하고 천리안 2호 위성을 투입할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 개발 후, 이 메탄 엔진이 소형위성 발사체에 추력공급 용도로도 사용도 가능하다.

사무직 근로자의 혈청 Vitamin D 수준과 생활습관위험인자와의 연관성 (The Relationship between Serum Vitamin D Levels and Lifestyle Risk Factors in Office Workers)

  • 본 연구는 사무직 근로자를 대상으로 비타민 D 상태와 생활습관위험인자간의 연관성을 조사하고자 하였다. S시의 30세 이상 사무직 근로자 515명(남 336명, 여 179명)을 대상으로 혈청 비타민 D 수준, 비만지표, 체력, 대사성위험인자 및 혈중 지질 그리고 좌식습관을 포함한 생활습관위험인자를 측정하였다. 혈청 비타민 D 수준을 기준으로 결핍(<20 ng/mL), 부족(20-29 ng/mL), 충분(≥30 ng/mL) 집단으로 구분하고, 집단 간 생활습관위험인자를 비교하였다. 분석결과, 비타민 D 수준이 높아질수록 체지방율(p=.030)과 좌식습관(p<.001)은 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하는 선 경향성이 나타났으며, 골격근량(p=.037), 심폐체력(p<.001) 그리고 HDL-C(p=.013)은 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하는 선 경향성이 나타났다. 또한 심폐체력이 낮은 집단이 높은 집단보다 비타민 D 부족 또는 결핍에 노출될 상대적 위험도가 남녀 각각 2.144배(95%CI .469-1.808, p=.042), 1.971배(95%CI .305-1.974, p=.045) 정도 높게 나타났으며, 좌식시간이 가장 많은 집단이 가장 적은 집단보다 비타민 D 부족 또는 결핍에 노출될 상대적 위험도는 여성 사무직 근로자 집단에서만 1.262배(95%CI 0.074-1.527 p=.043) 정도 높게 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서는 사무직 근로자의 낮은 비타민 D 수준은 낮은 심폐체력 및 장시간의 좌식습관과 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사무직 근로자의 건강증진과 충분한 비타민 D 공급을 위해 건강한 생활습관 변화와 근무 환경 개선이 우선적으로 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

초소형 가스터빈 엔진용 금속 3D 프린팅 연소기 성능 시험 (Performance Test of Metal 3D Printed Micro Gas Turbine Engine Combustor)

  • 본 연구에서는 소형 무인기에 사용되는 초소형 가스터빈 엔진의 연소기를 3D 프린팅으로 제작하고, 시험 설비와 리그를 제작하여 연소기 단품 성능시험을 수행하였다. 연소기 성능시험은 두 가지 부하조건에서 당량비를 조절하여 각 부하조건 별 4가지 시험조건에서 수행하였다. 성능시험 결과 연소기의 압력손실과 출구온도분포는 우수하였지만, 연소가스에서 다량의 UHC와 CO가 검출되어 연소효율은 일반적인 가스터빈 연소기에 비해 아주 낮음을 확인하였다. 성능시험을 통해 획득한 정량적 성능데이터는 향후 3D 프린팅 기술로 성능이 개선된 연소기의 설계와 제작에 활용 할 예정이다.

연구개발 품질보증 적용유형 분석 및 핵심 연구품질요소 도출 (R&D Quality Assurance : General Types and Key Quality Elements)

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze general types of R&D Quality Assurance(R&D QA) and to identify key quality elements for R&D QA. R&D QA is defined as all the planned and systematic actions to verify whether R&D processes are conducted in a proper manner and the results of R&D fully satisfy customers' requirements. Methods: The existing R&D QA guidelines and the some cases were reviewed. From the review, three general types are analyzed and thirteen key quality elements are identified. Then, the survey on the eighteen domestic experts has been conducted for prioritization of the identified elements. Results: As the result of this study, three types for R&D QA based on quality elements, standard process, and final evaluation are analyzed. Related to the first type, thirteen quality elements, e.g., administrative plan, project plan, process management and so on, are identified and prioritized. Conclusion: This study contributes to develop the baseline for R&D QA including the types and the key quality elements. It may be helpful for the institute that has an interest adopting R&D QA.

고온기 젖소 스트레스 저감 기술에 대한 국내외 연구 및 특허 동향 분석 (Research and Intellectual Property Trend of Heat Stress in Dairy Cows)

  • This study was conducted to establish the research direction of heat stress in dairy cows by searching papers and patents. Research papers published before 2014 through National Digital Science Library (NDSL) and patents registered with United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Japan Patent Office (JPO), European Patent Office (EPO) and Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) were investigated using the key words of heat stress index, genetics, facilities and feed. The research trend for heat stress in dairy cows was analyzed with 182 papers and 282 patents. Global warming due to increased atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases is a major interest in recent years. The papers related with heat stress in cattle were increased after 2006. Besides, patents connected with facilities and feed will be increased due to development of ICT. In particular, the various studies including patents about heat stress in dairy cows will be needed to conduct because the climate of southern Korean peninsula is changing from temperate to subtropic.

The Impact of Autonomous Virtual Work Environments on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Effectiveness

  • The objective of this study is to explore the perceptions of justice regarding the implementation of flexible work arrangements, as well as to analyze the effects of such arrangements on job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The present study posits three key aspects, namely distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice, which are hypothesized to influence individuals' impression of justice in relation to flexible work systems. To investigate the influence of job types on an R&D organization, specifically comparing R&D employees and office management employees, a dataset of 190 R&D employees and 50 office management employees was collected. The findings of the investigation provide empirical evidence that distributive justice has a significant impact on the level of job satisfaction among employees in both research and development (R&D) and office administration roles. Moreover, the influence of work satisfaction on organizational performance is noteworthy, particularly with regard to factors such as job dedication, organizational citizenship behavior, and knowledge sharing. The aforementioned findings offer significant insights for research and development (R&D) firms that have incorporated flexible work arrangements. These insights underscore the significance of emphasizing specific justice perceptions in order to augment job satisfaction and overall performance within the organization.

클라우드 오피스 이용 활성화 : DeLone and McLean 정보시스템 성공모형의 적용 (A Study on the Use Activation of the Cloud Office with Focus on DeLone and McLean IS Success Model)

  • Recently, Most of the companies and government offices are under consideration about the adoption of cloud office service to actualize the smart work policies. Comparing with traditional office software, a cloud office service have the advantage of the method of payment and coming over the physical limitations. Many cloud office service users tend to adopt an official evaluated the service without doubt. However after deciding to adopt cloud office service, many users are faced with a variety of problems and difficulties practically. In this study, researchers carried out interview about those problems and difficulties after adopting a cloud office service. Consequently, there are several problems and difficulties such as compatibility, document security, document lost and maladjusted to the new graphic user interface between traditional office software and a cloud office service. A cloud office service have still several advantages not only a competitive price but also ubiquitous attributes. Thus, researchers need to study about what kinds of reason variables can solve those problems and difficulties. In existing research, DeLone & McLean have suggested information system success model. They use three independent variables which are system quality, information quality, service quality. Parameters are user satisfaction, intention to use and use. Lastly, dependent variables are net benefits. However in this study, we need to change the scope of measurement. In other words, we have to replace parameters with dependent variables. Simply, user satisfaction, intention to use and use is going to be dependent variables. There are several reasons why we need changing variables. First, we aim at giving a some suggestions to a cloud service providers which independent variables do not work to satisfy for the users. Second, we need to find out how to maximize cloud office service user's satisfaction and intention to use. Third, we should firstly know that relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. Finally, those research results give for the cloud office service provider to solve the cloud office service adopting problems and difficulties.
