L. H. Encinas, A. J. Menezes, and J. M. Masque in [2] proposed a classification of isomorphism classes of hyperelliptic curve of genus 2 over finite fields with characteristic different from 2 and 5. Y. Choie and D. Yun in [1] obtained for the number of isomorphic classes of hyperelliptic curves of genus 2 over $F_q$ using direct counting method. In this paper we will classify the isomorphism classes of hyperelliptic curves of genus 2 over $F_{2^n}$ for odd n, represented by an equation of the form $y^2+a_5y=x^5+a_8x+a_{10}(a_5{\neq}0)$.

This study presents a new architecture for a field programmable analog array (FPAA) for use in low-frequency applications, and a generalized circuit realization method for the implementation of nth-order elliptic filters. The proposed designs of both the FPAA and elliptic filters are based on the operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) used in implementing OTA-C filters for biopotential signal processing. The proposed FPAA architecture has a flexible, expandable structure with direct connections between configurable analog blocks (CABs) that eliminates the use of switches. The generalized elliptic filter circuit realization provides a simplified, direct synthetic method for an OTA-C symmetric balanced structure for even/odd-nth-order low-pass filters (LPFs) and notch filters with minimum number of components, using grounded capacitors. The filters are mapped on the FPAA, and both architectures are validated with simulations in LTspice using 90-nm complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology. Both proposed FPAA and filters generalized synthetic method achieve simple, flexible, low-power designs for implementation of biopotential signal processing systems.

Let q > 1 be an odd integer and c be a fixed integer with (c, q) = 1. For each integer a with $1{\leq}a{\leq}q-1$, it is clear that the exists one and only one b with $0{\leq}b{\leq}q-1$ such that $ab{\equiv}c$ (mod q). Let N(c, q) denote the number of all solutions of the congruence equation $ab{\equiv}c$ (mod q) for $1{\leq}a$, $b{\leq}q-1$ in which a and $\bar{b}$ are of opposite parity, where $\bar{b}$ is defined by the congruence equation $b\bar{b}{\equiv}1$ (modq). The main purpose of this paper is using the mean value theorem of Dirichlet L-functions to study the mean value properties of a summation involving $(N(c,q)-\frac{1}{2}{\phi}(q))$ and Kloosterman sums, and give a sharper asymptotic formula for it.

Let $p$ be an odd prime number and let F be a finite field with $p^m$ elements. We study representations and strict representations of polynomials $M{\in}F$[T] by sums of ($p^r$ + 1)-th powers. A representation $$M=M_1^k+{\cdots}+M_s^k$$ of $M{\in}F$[T] as a sum of $k$-th powers of polynomials is strict if $k$ deg $M_i<k$ + degM.

The PVT(pressure-volume-temperature) relation of main-chain dimer liquid crystals having structures such as $\alpha$,$\omega$-bis[(4,4`-cyanobiphenyl) oxy] alkane(CBA-n with=9, 10) were studied. these dimer liquid crystals are known to form an enantiotropic nematic mesophase. In this work, we have determined the volume change as a function of temperature and pressure by using a GNOMIX PVT apparatus. In the V-Tcurves obtaind from isobaris mearements on various pressures, volume changes were observed at the nematic-isotropiz and nematic-crystal phase transitions. The volume changes at the transition exhibit slight odd-even effect with respect to the number of methylene unit n. The values of the (S)v obtained at the NI transition for CBA-9 and -10 were 6.9 and 12.6J/mol k. The valuesof (S)v for the CN transition were estimated on the basis of DSC(differential scanning calorimetry) data: 58.8(CBA-9) and 65.3J/mol k (CBA-10). For both transition, it was found that the correction about the volume change is significant, ranging from 40% to 60% of the total transition entropy observed under constant pressure.

이 논문에서는 정점이나 에지 고장이 있는 이중 루프 네트워크에서 임의의 두 정점을 연결하는 고장 없는 최장 경로를 고찰하여, 고장인 요소의 수가 둘 흑은 그 이하인 경우 이분 그래프인 이중 루프 네트워크 G(mn；1, m)은 강한 해밀톤 laceable 그래프임을 보인다. G(mn；1, m)은 m이 홀수이고 n이 짝수일 경우에만 이분 그래프이다.

Let G be a finite group and N be a normal subgroup of G. We denote by ncc(N) the number of conjugacy classes of N in G and N is called n-decomposable, if ncc(N) = n. Set $K_{G}\;=\;\{ncc(N)$\mid$N{\lhd}G\}$. Let X be a non-empty subset of positive integers. A group G is called X-decomposable, if KG = X. In this paper we characterise the {1, 3, 4}-decomposable finite non-perfect groups. We prove that such a group is isomorphic to Small Group (36, 9), the $9^{th}$ group of order 36 in the small group library of GAP, a metabelian group of order $2^n{2{\frac{n-1}{2}}\;-\;1)$, in which n is odd positive integer and $2{\frac{n-1}{2}}\;-\;1$ is a Mersenne prime or a metabelian group of order $2^n(2{\frac{n}{3}}\;-\;1)$, where 3$\mid$n and $2\frac{n}{3}\;-\;1$ is a Mersenne prime. Moreover, we calculate the set $K_{G}$, for some finite group G.

Asymmetrical parallel coupled lines are used in a number of circuits such as multi-band coupler and combline type band pass filter. Although graphical results and formulas are available for the design of coupled lines, the design procedure is hard to use, because even- and odd- mode impedances are always expressed in terms of the physical geometry. In this paper, we introduce a method to find design parameter using finite element analysis. By employing the capacitance obtained by FE analysis, design parameters for each lines are extracted. To show the validity of extracted design parameter for asymmetrical parallel coupled line, we have designed and simulated a planar type combline band pass filter.

Electronic products are subjected to many different types of shock environment. As the Optical Disc Drive (ODD) market grows, the number of failures related to shock increases. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the performance of cushion package as well as the product design. Cushion materials such as expanded polystyrene are often used to protect electronic products from shock environment. In this paper, the drop analysis of the cushion package f3r optical disc drives was carried out with the explicit method of LS-DYNA and verified by the drop test. For the optimization of package, response surface approximation model was created using central composite design. As a result, cushioning performance was improved under the critical condition and practical design guidelines of cushion package were suggested.

Shafts having asymmetry or odd number of symmetry in the cross-section can not be simply manufactured by conventional incremental radial forging. In order to manufacture such shafts, the new concept of incremental forging with one punch and a flexible fixture is developed by suggesting a flexible fixture, instead of two opposed punches used in radial forging, so that the flexible fixture only supports the workpiece while the punch is moving during forming. A new flexible fixture is designed using the steel shots and vacuum technology. An equilateral triangular cross-section is selected as the sample shape to be manufactured by the proposed manufacturing method. The desired triangular cross-sectional shaft is manufactured with the errors of $3.0\%$.
