The Influence of Adolescent's Career Attitude, Occupation Value, and Social Support on Career Preparation Behavior (청소년의 진로준비행동에 관한 연구 : 진로태도, 직업가치관, 사회적지지)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of demographic, occupation value, career attitude, and social support on high school students' career preparation behavior. The data was collected from the Korean Survey on of the Career and occupation of Youth in 2009(N=3,499). Descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, T-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed on SPSS 17.0. The results of this study are as follows: first, career preparation behavior according to gender was much higher for female students than male students. There were statistically significant differences in career preparation behavior according to school years. The first year students' perception in of career preparation behavior was higher than the second, and third year students. The first year students' perception in of career preparation behavior was higher than second, and third year students. Second, career preparation behavior had a significant correlations with work value, career attitude, family support, and school support. Third, this study demonstrated that career decisiveness and family support was a strong factor in career preparation behavior. In addition, among all factors, the career decisiveness of career attitude was proved to be the most influential factor on career preparation behavior. The study discusses practical implications for career education programs.

Pregnant Women's Value of Children: Sex Preference and Pregnancy Motivation (임신부의 자녀관 : 성선호와 임신동기)

  • Sex preference and pregnancy motivation are analyzed using the data of 117 pregnant women in Chonju City. The results indicate that women prefer son, regardless of various sociodemographic variables such as pregnancy experience, number of children, women's education, occupation, income, religion, experience, number of children, women's education, occupation, income, religion, and men's education and occupation. Sex preference is statistically significant by women's marital status and age, and children's sex composition. The analysis on 19 pregnancy motivation items shows that pregnancy motivation differs by women's occupation, marital status, number of children, education and their partner's education. Factor analysis on pregnancy motivation items reveals six dimensions for all pregnancy: economic ability, value of child-care, psychological stability, family lineage, old economic dependency are statistically significant dimensions for son preference compared with daughter preference.

The Benefit and Cost of Full-Time Housewife Occupation (전업주부가 인식하는 주부직의 혜택과 비용에 관한 연구)

  • The value of housewife occupation is likely to be underestimated because of its invisibility and myth. This study was performed to investigate social meaning of housewife occupation in the modern society using concept of psychological benefit and cost of full-time housewife. Subjectively even if housewife occupation was perceived as benefit in some aspects full-time housewife was not considered as favorable status but as costly one compared to employed housewife. The perceptions of benefit and cost of housewife occupation were different from some characteristics of housewife and related to the content of works. Finally the estimation of housewife occupation was more influenced by psychological variables rather than conditions and situations of housewife. these results suggested that psychological meaning of housewife occupation is important to understand issues related to the housewife.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural correlation between career decision making self-efficacy, major satisfaction and occupation value of beauty major students by questionnaire collection and statistical analysis. Major satisfaction was found to be statistically significant at the significance level of .05 with respect to coccupation value and career decision making self-efficacy at p<.001. Occupation value was found to be statistically significant at p<.001 for career decision and job decision of career decision making self-efficacy and significance level .05. Therefore, it has been confirmed that the major satisfaction and job value are the factors that play a significant role in the self-efficiency of career decisions, and it is believed that continuous research on various variables that affect the self-efficiency of career decisions of beauty major university students is necessary.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate of differences on the viewpoint of value, job aspiration, job attitude between male and female librarians. The objects of survey are 60 librarians at National Assembly Library. The results of the survey are as follows 1) In general, librarians have advanced propensity on viewpoint of value. But female librarians appear more traditional propensity than male librarians 2) Generally, the ranking of core factors in job aspiration appears ① realise professional value, ② self confidence in occupation, ③ recognized by specialist. Nurses단 Role Models, Perceptions Toward Occupation, Self-Actualization Value and the Phases of Socialization Process (임상간호원의 사회화과정단계에 있어서의 역할모델, 직업에 대한 지각향성 및 자아실현성간의 관계)

  • This study was designed to investigate the changes of nurses' role model, perceptions toward occupation, and self actualization value in terms of the phases of socialization process. Two hundred and sixty nine nurses working in clinical settings were randomly selected from 15 general hospitals despersed over Seoul and Kyungki province. Data were gathered by the standardized Perceptual Orientation Test, the Self-actualization Test, and Questionnaires on role models and phases of socialization process developed by the investigators from October 1985 to March 1986. The data were analysed by ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The results were as follows: 1. The average time period required for the shift of phases of socialization process were; phase Ⅰ, role adjustment, took average 10 months of employment: Phase Ⅱ, interpersonal adjustment, 12 months: and Phase Ⅲ, role conflict, 15 months respectively. Conflict resolution, phase Ⅳ, began to take place 18 months of employment; and shifted to phase V, internalization and self-actualization at 25 months of employment. 2. Throughout 5 consecutive phase, the number of immediate superior nurse model was dominantly the highest among the role models. The number of head nurse role model increased at phase Ⅱ, phase Ⅲ, and phase Ⅳ. Respondents with school model in phase I tended to transfer to work model at phase Ⅱ. 3. The perceptions toward occupation were not significantly influenced by the Phases of socialization process. 4. The score of self-actualization value was not significantly influenced by the phases of socialization process. 5. In regard to perceptions toward occupation, nursing director model group showed significantly lower score in phase I (p<.01). 6. The comparison of self-actualization value between the 5 phases revealed significant difference in phase I: in particular among respondents with school model at p<.05. To conclude: 1. The phase Ⅲ of socialization process is the period of role conflict which occur at 15 months of employment, an6 conflict resolution, phase Ⅳ, begins at 18 months of employment on the average in clinical settings. 2. The immediate superior nurse and the head nurse are important role models for nurses all through their socialization process.

  • Object of this study presents marketing of new market segmentation as what I classify a social stratum, and analyze sense of value about each social class clothes and a taste, but is. The study way used a questionnaire as an investigation study way, and I did execution from September to October in 1999, and the investigation object picked up an any table with the woman university student who lived in Seoul and did investigation, and analysis targeted total 550 people. I used a measurement item of economic capital and cultural capital as a classification item of a social stratum and selected a dwelling, a kind of property, an annual salary of parents as an index of economic capital. Presentation held an occupation of parents, scholarship, culture activity as an index of cultural capital. It is social stratum structure an occupation arranges in 12 job categories by, for your reference, I do a social orbit of the P. Bourdieu which is a French sociologist and an index of inheritance cultural capital, and having set up eight phases of evaluation, and to do a Y, Cultural Capital with X with economic capital. Sense of value about clothes and attitude selected social value, aesthetic appreciation enemy value, authority a few value in sense of value of the 6 type that E. Spranger(1922) presented, and a proposal did type in 3 about clothes. The measurement way used a 11 question item and measured I with five phases of Likert-type criteria and executed factors analysis by main ingredient analysis and varimax revolution law.   • Purpose: It suggests that making a policy and strategies in a way of AI and its impact of commercialization on economic efficiency, social custom ethics. Research design, data, and methodology: The paper has analyzed the data based on the proposed model when derived as AI vs. FI job, etc. It is very different for each professional evaluation, which is artificial intelligence or robot job. One concept case was selected as a substitute job, with a relatively low level of occupation ability, such as direct labors, easily replaced. By the induction data has resulted in modeling. Results: The paper suggests that AI at high level become something how to make real decisions on ethical value modeling. Through physical simulation with the deduction data, it can be tuned to design and control what has not been solved, from human senses to climate. Conclusion: For the exploiting of new AI decision-making jobs in markets, the deduction data is possible to prove to AI's Decision-making that the percentage who can easily have different leadership as is different for each person. what is generated by some information silos may be applied to occupation societies. The empirical results indicate the deduction data that if AI determines ethical decisions (VC) for that modifications, it may replace future jobs.

An Analysis of Financial Statement Among Urban Households Based On a System Approach (체계론에 기초한 도시가계의 재정상태 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate relations of resources and demands, family financial management and financial statement of urban households by applying a system approach. The results of this study were as follows; Saving rate had significant differences according to resources variables such as age, family life cycle, occupation of househead and housewife, ratio of employed to family member, and to demands variabels such as subjective prospect of business cycle, and value orientation, whereas total saving amount had significant differences according to resources vaiables such as age, family life cycle, educational level, percapita income, occupation of househead, type of income and to demand variable, perception of relative income. Also average monthly saving amount had significant differences according to resources vaiables such as educational level, per capita income, occupation of housewife, housing ownership, ratio of employed to family member, ratio of dependent to employed, and to demands variable, perception of relative income. The stocks had significant differences according to resources variables such as age, family life cycle, educational level, per capita income, occupation of househead, type of income, and housing ownership. Finally, real estate had significant differences according to resources variables such as age, family life cycle, educational level, percapita income, occupation of househead, type of income, housing ownership, and to demands variable, perception of relative income. Financial Statement among urban households according to family financial management had significant differences. And among all variables affecting financial statement among urban households, per capita income had the highest effect and perception of relative income was the second.

  • This paper examine how acceptance of AI robots can be achieved according to occupational groups when the discourse on human labor and occupation changes due to the new industrial revolution is spreading steadily. Previous research on the acceptance of new technologies and products has predicted use behavior through subjective beliefs and values that do not change well over the short term. Therefore, this study compares the beliefs, values, and use intention of AI robots according to occupation. As a result, the subjective belief factor for AI robots was classified into belief in rationality(reason) and belief in benevolence(emotion). The value factors were divided into acceptance value(role performance, communication, social comparison) and avoidance value(risk, complexity). There was a significant difference in the effect of these on the use intention of AI robot by occupation and employment types. This result suggests that there are gaps in the occupation group at the rate of technology acceptance, as opposed to the existing prediction that AI robots will be rapidly expanded by professionals.
