The off-state impedance of LED signal head is greater than that of a traditional bulb signal head, and the traffic controller has inherent off-state output leakage current. These two characteristics make the field trouble and reduce signal safety when the LED signal head is installed with traffic controller. In this Paper, a complement method of the LED signal head and traffic controller local standard (220vac line voltage) for improving signal safety is suggested. The point of designed complement method is to reduce the output leakage current of the traffic controller under 3mA, to increase the voltage feedback threshold to $70{\pm}5V$, and to make LED signal head maintain off-state in 0-95vac with 10Kohm maximum impedance.

Currently, There is a conference system in one field of knowledge base system, the study against a conference of multimedia approach method is become accomplished actively. However, Case of the conference system which is studied from multimedia viewpoint, only it will bring the merit and demerit of the off-line conference of existing with on-line, it isn't considering to make knowledge plan of important conference content and method. This thesis proposes stand of Knowledge-base system architecture for it break from the method which composes a conference system from the multimedia side of existing and focus it will be able to contain existing systems to conference contents and method.

This paper presents the content regarding electronic medical examination chart and data processing for efficient medical examination and fast treatment by realizing remote medical examination system of mutual conversation type among 3 parties(patient, doctor, pharmacist) on internet base, and establishment of database enabled system integration for efficient data processing in both on-line and off-line mode by interconnecting ASP and SQL on IIS 4.0 web server, consultation between patient and doctor, medical examination on off-line mode, transmission of prescription sheet to the pharmacist designated by patient, preparation of medicine, semieternal storage of medical examination data owing to storage and check of medical examination data, more accurate medical examination and prescription using this medical examination data by patient and doctor, and so on. And, data processing between doctor and pharmacist is differently performed based on class such as general member and charge member, and service access right pursuant to this is endowed, so that certification of each member must follow by all means.

IEEE802.15.4a, which is started to realize the PHY layer including high precision ranging/positioning and low data rate communication functions, requires a simple and low power consumable transceiver architecture. To satisfy this requirements, the simple noncoherent on-off keying (OOK) UWB transceiver with the parallel energy window banks (PEWB) giving high precision signal processing interface is proposed. The flexibility of the proposed system in multipath fading channel environments is acquired with the pulse and bit repetition method. To analyze the bit error rate (BER) performance of this proposed system, a noise model in receiver is derived with commonly used random variable distribution, chi-square. BER of $10^{-5}$ under the line-of-sight (LOS) residential channel is achieved with the integration time of 32 ns and signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 15.3 dB. For the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) outdoor channel, the integration time of 72 ns and SNR of 16.2 dB are needed. The integrated energy to total received energy (IRR) for the best BER performance is about $86\%$.

In recent years, the multilevel inverter synthesizing the output voltage with step pulse has been widely used rather than PWM method as a solution for high power and high voltage applications. This method takes advantage of lower switching losses due to one switching for one period. This paper proposes a simple method to obtain the conducting angle. This method is implemented by using voltage-second areas of the divided reference voltage according to the output voltage levels. It Is possible to reduce an amount of calculation because it is not required to solve the simultaneous equations by an iterative method. Also, the proposed method can get the conducting angle by means of on-line.

If the ambient temperature rises for AC PDP, some of the discharge cells are turned off because of the misfiring during address period. Particularly, the misfiring of the 'last scan line is more serious than that of the first. In order to compensate the misfiring in such that case, different addressing voltage is applied at each cell such as progressively increasing pulse voltage instead of constant one. As a result, the addressing time and discharge charge of the last scan line have become similar to those of the first scan line and the phenomenon of misfiring has disappeared.

The telecommunication technology in the 21st century has come up to the standard which could transmit various spatial information by means of on-line and the printing technology using computers has been on a par with presswork in quality. In addition, map users also would like to get various spatial information through on-line directly or indirectly. None the less, the supply system of national base map in our country has maintained the off-line sales method. It is owing to this reason that the nation's supply system has shown a high degree of inefficiency from the viewpoint of the inventory control, rapidity, and economical efficiency as compared with the on-line sales system in the developed countries. This paper presents an application of the extended DP matching method to the on-line recognition of cursive Hangeul (Korean characters). We decrease the number of matching's objects by performing rough classification matching which makes the best use of features in the first and the last segment of Hangeul. By adding the extraction function of the basic character patterns to DP matching method, we try to calculate precisely the difference among Hangeul. The extraction of the basic character patterns is done by examining the features of segments in character. Applying the extended DP matching method to the on-line recognition of cursive Hangeul, absorption of writing motion and stable separation of strokes can be performed with flexibility.

In low-power VLSI systems, it is effective to suppress leakage current by shutting down megablocks in idle states. Recently, multi-threshold voltage CMOS (MTCMOS) is widely accepted to shutdown power supply. However, it requires short wake-up time as operating frequency increases. This causes large current surge during wake-up process, and it often leads to system malfunction due to severe Power line noise. In this paper, a novel wake-up scheme is proposed to solve this problem. It exploits pipelined wake-up strategy in several stages that reduces maximum current on the power line and its corresponding power line noise. To evaluate its efficiency, the proposed scheme was applied to a multiplier block in the Compact Flash memory controller chip. Power line noise in shutdown and wake-up process was simulated and analyzed. From the simulation results, the proposed scheme was proven to greatly reduce the power line noise compared with conventional schemes.

The black and white image scanning system realization and design using illumination control on CIS(Contact Image Sensor) be amenable to recognize a papers, OMR and OCR sheet is proposed. The design technique is used CIS scanning sensor in fixing step motor and is optimized with DSP processor for image processing, and transfer input image data pare line in feeding a step unit to PC on the USB interface. The method of illumination control is that turn on and off of CIS lamp while scanning paper. The scanner system with optimal illumination enhanced PSNR 0.3% in scanning image.
