반응성 DC 마그네트론 스퍼터법에 의한 SnO$_2$ : F 박막의 전기광학적 특성 (Electrical and Optical Properties of SnO$_2$: F Thin Films by Reactive DC Magnetron Sputtering Method)

  • Fluorine-doped $SnO_2$ thin films were deposited on soda-lime glass substrates by reactive DC magnetron sputtering method. Crystallinity as well as electrical and optical properties of $SnO_2$ : F thin film were investigated as the variations of deposition conditions such as substrate temperature, DC Power, $O_2$ gas pressure, $SF_6$ gas pressure. $SnO_2$ : F thin film deposited with 5% $SF_6$ gas pressure showed electrical resistivities of $2.5\times10^{-3}$cm with the average optical transparency (about 80%) These electrical and optical properties were found to be related to the crystallinity of $SnO_2$ : F thin films.

$F_o$-값 측정 시스템의 개발 (Development of $F_o-value$ Measuring System)

  • 식품의 가열살균공정의 최적화는 에너지 소비의 성력화를 위한 공정 자동화와 제품의 미생물학적 안전성 및 영양적, 기호적 품질을 감안하여 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이미 개발한 마이크로컴퓨터를 이용한 자동화 시스템을 개선하여 미생물학적 안전성 확보를 위한 가열살균기준 설정에 필수적인 $F_o-값 측정 시스템을 개발하였다. $F_o-값은 가열살균 중인 명태 고기풀의 냉점에서의 온도변화에 따라 순간치사율(lethal rate)을 구하고 전체 공정에서의 치사율의 합(integrated lethality)을 $F_o-값으로 나타내었다. 또한 정확도는 냉점에서의 열침투곡선으로부터 계산된 열확산도의 정확도로써 검토하였다. $F_o-값은 다양한 온도에서의 미세한 조건의 변화에도 불구하고 정확한 측정이 가능하였다. 또한 다양한 조건에서 동시에 계산된 명태 고기풀의 열확산도는 문헌상에 보고된 추정식으로 구한 열확산도와 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 그 차이는 $\pm12\%$이내였다.

  • In this paper, 3 D.O.F. actuator, which has three degrees of freedom in one joint, is proposed. The proposed 3 D.O.F. spherical actuator is composed of the rotor and atator. The upper plate of the stator supports the rotor and five electromagnets are located at the base of the stator. The rotor has two permanent magnets, and each rotational axis of the rotor gimbal system is supported by the bearing. To find out the governing equations for the torque generation, Coulombs law and Lorentz force with respect to magnetism is applied. As the experimental results, if the distance between electromagnet and permanent maget is far enough, the force between these magnets can be expressed from current of coils and z-axial distance. For the purpose of control 3 D.O.F. actuator, PID control law is applied. The experimental results are presented to show the validity of the proposed 3 D.O.F. actuator.

소결조제와 열처리 분위기가 $(1-x)CaTiO_3-xLaAlO_3$ 계의 소결 및 마이크로파 유전특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sintering Additives and Annealing Atmospheres on the Microwave Dielectric and Sintering Characteristics of $(1-x)CaTiO_3-xLaAlO_3$ System)

  • The effects of the annealing atmospheres(O2, N2) and sintering additives that Bi2O3 is a major composition on the microwave dielectric and sintering propertie of (1-x)CaTiO3-xLaAlO3 system were investigated. The annealing atmospheres and the increase of annealing time after sintering did not affect the relative dielectric constant($\varepsilon$r) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($\tau$f) of (1-x)CaTiO3-xLaAlO3 system. However, the Q.f0 values of (1-x)CaTiO3-xLaAlO3 were very sensitive to annealing atmospheres. As the annealing time increased under O2 atmosphere the Q.f0 values of (1-x)CaTiO3-xLaAlO3 enhanced untill 10 hrs in 0.3$\leq$x$\leq$0.6 region, but degraded over that time. The increasing rate of Q.f0 value increased wth increasing x. On the other hand, as the annealing time increased under N2 atmosphere the Q.f0 values were constant in x$\leq$0.6 region, increased gradually in x$\geq$0.7 region. When 0.97Bi2O3-0.03Al2O3 and 0.76Bi2O3-0.24NiO of 3wt% as sintering additives were added to (Ca0.5La0.5) (Ti0.5Al0.5)O3 (x=0.5) the sintering temperature of 1$600^{\circ}C$ was lowered to 140$0^{\circ}C$, and the relative dielectric constant($\varepsilon$r) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($\tau$f) were not nearly changed. The addition of 0.97Bi2O3-0.03Al2O3 and 0.76Bi2O3-0.24NiO of 3wt% to (Ca0.5La0.5)(Ti0.5Al0.5)O3 made the Q.f0 values to be lower about 15% and 34%, respectively.

  • Ba(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/) $O_3$-Sr(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/) $O_3$계에 대하여 소결 온도 변화와 Zr $O_2$첨가량에 따른 마이크로파 유전특성을 조사하였다. 동일 조성에서 소결 온도가 증가함에 따라 밀도가 향상되고 공진 주파수의 온도계수($ au$$_{f}$)는 감소하는 경향을 보였으나, 유전상수(K)와 품질계수(Q$\times$f)는 커다란 변화가 없었다. 또한 Zr $O_2$첨가량이 증가함에 따라 소결 시편의 밀도가 향상되었고 더불어 유전상수, 품질계수가 증가하는 경향을 보였으며, 공진 주파수의 온도계수가 감소하는 우수한 특성이 나타났다. 특히, 소결온도 1575$^{\circ}C$, 0.6 wt% Zr $O_2$를 첨가했을 때 유전상수가 최대($\varepsilon$$_{r}$=41)로 나타났으며, 공진 주파수의 온도계수는 1.0wt% Zr $O_2$를 첨가했을 때 최소($\tau$$_{f}$=+0.8ppm/$^{\circ}C$)로서 양호한 값을 얻을 수 있었다.었다.

  • The effect of $BaF_2$ flux in $Y_3Al_5O_{12}:Ce^{3+}$(YAG:Ce) formation was investigated. Phase transformation of $Y_3Al_5O_{12}$(YAG) was characterized by using XRD, SEM, and TEM-EDS, and it was revealed that the sequential formation of the $Y_4Al_2O_9$(YAM), $YAlO_3$(YAP) and $Y_3Al_5O_{12}$(YAG) in the temperature range of 1000-1500$^{\circ}C$. Single phase of YAG was revealed from 1300$^{\circ}C$. In order to find out the effect of $BaF_2$ flux, three modeling experiments between starting materials (1.5$Al_2O_3$-2.5$Y_2O_3$, $Y_2O_3$-$BaF_2$, and $Al_2O_3$-$BaF_2$) were done. These modeling experiments showed that the nucleation process occurs via the dissolution-precipitation mechanism, whereas the grain growth process is controlled via the liquid-phase diffusion route. YAG:Ce phosphor particles prepared using a proposed technique exhibit a spherical shape, high crystallinity, and an emission intensity. According to the experimental results conducted in this investigation, 5% of $BaF_2$ was the best concentration for physical, chemical and optical properties of $Y_3Al_5O_{12}:Ce^{3+}$(YAG:Ce) that is approximately 10-15% greater than that of commercial phosphor powder.

  • Glass forming ranges in the AlF3-(Mg+Sr+Ba)F2-P2O5 system are studied and ultraviolet transmission, infrared transmission, coefficient of refractive index, thermal expansion coefficient, density and chemical durability of the glasses are determined. Glass forming range is restricted MgF2 0-10wt%, SrF2 10-50wt%, BaF2 10-40wt% in this system. While BaF2 is substituted by SrF2, density and refractive index are decreased, micro hardness and thermal expansion coefficient are increased according to the increasing of SrF2 at fixed MgF2 contents. These samples represent high transmittance(93%) from 400nm to 3800nm and chemical durability of these samples show less than 0.3mg/$\textrm{cm}^2$$.$hy by weightloss.

Immune Effect of Newcastle Disease Virus DNA Vaccine with C3d as a Molecular Adjuvant

  • Newcastle disease is a serious infectious disease in the poultry industry. The commercial vaccines can only offer limited protection and some of them are expensive and need adjuvants. At present, DNA vaccines are widely used. However, the immune responses induced by DNA vaccines are too slow and low. Here, we constructed the transfer vectors with a different number of C3d as molecular adjuvants (n = 1, 2, 4, or 6), and the vectors were cloned into the optimal eukaryotic expression plasmid (pVAXI-optiF) that expressed the F gene of Newcastle disease virus (NDV), and named pVAXI-F(o)-C3d1, pVAXI -F(o)-C3d2, pVAXI-F(o)-C3d4, and pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6, respectively. Cell transfection test indicated that pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6 showed the highest expression. In vivo immunization showed that the chickens immunized with pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6 intramuscularly induced better immune responses than the chickens immunized with the other plasmids. The protective efficacy of pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6 was 80% after challenge with the highly virulent NDV strain F48E9. The results in this study showed that C3d6 could be used as a molecular adjuvant to quickly induce an effective immune response to control NDV.

  • To perform R&D program, it is necessary to invest input factor(I/F). And these factor are converted to output factors(O/F) at the end of R&D program. Pee. reviewers evaluate output factors and produce evaluation grades(E/G). This paper try to analyze the relationship to I/F, O/F and E/G, According to the analysis results, the relation between I/F and E/G is as weak as the relation between O/F and E/G. The strength of relationship is relatively very strong in the relation between I/F and O/F

  • 초전형 적외선 센서를 제작하기 위하여 rf 마그네트론 스퍼터링법으로 $(Pb,La)TiO_3(PLT)$/$LiTaO_3$(LTO)/PLT 강유전 박막을 증착한 후 급속 열처리하여 열처리 온도와 시간에 따른 결정성을 조사하였다. 강유전 박막의 c축 배향도에 따른 비유전율 및 유전손실을 측정하고 C축 배향도가 가장 큰 강유전 박막으로 제작된 센서에 대해 초전계수를 측정하여 센서의 전압응답에 대한 성능지수($F_V$)와 감도에 대한 성능지수($F_D$)를 구하였다. 얻어진 $F_V$, $F_D$는 각각 $6.15{\times}10^{-10}\;C{\cdot}cm/J$, $1.98{\times}10^{-8}\;C{\cdot}cm/J$였다.
