지오그리드로 보강된 철도노반의 한계속도에 관한 연구 (Critical Speed Analysis of Geogrid-Reinforced Rail Roadbed)

  • This paper presents the critical speed analysis of geogrid-reinforced rail roadbeds on soft soil. A rail roadbed on soft ground must be designed to avoid intolerable stress in the underlying soil and to give sufficient support for the rail system. At high speeds, the deformation of rail systems will gain dynamic amplification, and reach excessive values as a certain speed, here termed critical speed is approached. The elastic Winkler foundation model was used to predict the critical speed of geogrid-reinforced rail roadbeds on soft soil and the model properties were determined by the in-situ cyclic plate load test. Based on the parametric study of elastic beam on Winkler foundation model, the critical speed increase with the increase of the flexural risidity of subgrade EI and the stiffness coefficient of Winkler foundation k. From the in-situ cyclic load tests and analysis of elastic beam on Winkler foundation model, the critical speed increase with increase in number of reinforced layer and non-dimensional value for depth of first geogrid layers and the thickness of reinforced rail roadbed u/d.

  • Construction of high-speed concrete track embankments over soft ground needs many of the ground improvement techniques. Drains, surcharge loading, and geosynthetic reinforcement, have all been used to solve the settlement and embankment stability issues associated with construction on soft soils. However, when time constraints are critical to the success of the project, another measures should be considered. Especially, since the design criteria of residual settlement is limited as 30mm for concrete track embankment, it is very difficult to satisfy this allowable settlement by using the former construction method. Pile net method consist of vertical columns that are designed to transfer the load of the embankment through the soft compressible soil layer to a firm foundation and one or more layers of geosynthetic reinforcement placed between the top of the columns and the bottom of the embankment. In this paper, three cases with different embankment height and number of geosynthetic reinforcement, were studied through FEM analysis for efficient use of pile net method.

  • It is growing the application of the removal ground anchor with tension force for earth retaining constructions in the downtown. Nowadays, we can find the compression dispersion anchor on many site. But, it is occur some probelems in behabior of anchors because of impossible to tense p.c strand uniformly with existing equipment due to different length of p.c strand. So we tried to tense each p.c strand uniformly with auto back equipment in-situ test. This study compared and analyzed in-situ test results of an existing equipment with those of auto back equipment by appling elastic theory. As a result of the test, It has been proved that differences of tension force in the existing equipment increases with increasing the number of p.c strands. This can cause the ultimate failure of the concentrated p.c strand and the shear failure of ground. So it has been proved that auto back equipment is necessary.

  • Derail accident of train and motorcar through signal override causes such a huge obstruction in train service. To minimize such derail accidents, number of bills were examined such as installing normal and reverse position indicator on the switch. A indicator was necessary which does not affect current equipments and not to be confused as traffic lights. Normal and reverse position indicator is installed in the middle of the rail in front of front rod of switch. It is to prevent derail accident while manual handling of obstacle by ease of verifying normal and reverse position by attendants or motorcar driver. Also, it is a device that prevents accidents by indicating normal and reverse position of switch during night service of motorcar. Such a prevention accomplished through thorough maintenancework of equipment, precise handling of operators and exterior factors are eliminated or perceived and treated well.

  • First phase section of line 9 which had been constructed by first private capitalization business of Seoul city was opened on July 24, 2009. There are 25 stations of 25.5km operation distance between Gaehwa and Sinnonhyeon, running regular and express trains on the same track. The number of daily passenger demand has risen to above 200thousand passengers with record above 90% of anticipatied transport demand in 2010. The construction of second phase section(Sinnonhyeon~Bohoon Hospital : 14km, 13 stations) is currently under construction for opening in 2016. This study aims to suggest optimal operating patterns taking into consideration theoretical operating headways for regular and express trains, demand of rolling stocks mainly analyzed on record of first phase demand of line 9 and anticipated transport demand of second phase basic plan.

선진국과 한국의 소음저감정책 비교 (Comparison of Noise Abatement Policies in Advanced Countries and Korea)

  • One of the main objectives of noise control act is to define and ensure application and respect of noise exposure limits. Most advanced countries have prepared a legal framework for noise limits either by national laws, ordinances or municipal by-laws. A large number of advaced countries have adopted the Leq index for the main sources of noise(road, railway, industry). The exception is aircraft noise for which regulatory practice is highly disparate. These differences in the indices adopted, the periods and areas to which regulations apply, definitions of measurement conditions and ways in which noise levels are calculated make it difficult to compare the current advanced countries standards. This study presents the current noise abatement policy of the advanced countries and proposes the improvement of the current noise abatement policy of Korea to catch up with it of the advanced countries.

관출구로부터 방출되는 약한 충격파에 관한 3 차원 수치해석 (3-Dimensional Computations of the Weak Shock Wave Discharged from the Exit of Duct)

  • When a shock wave is discharged from the exit of a duct, complicated flow is formed near the duct exit. The flow field is much more complicated under the ground effects or any other objects near the exit of a duct, such as the circumstance near the exit of the high-speed railway tunnel. The resulting flow is essentially three-dimensional unsteady with the effects of strong compressibility. In the current study, three-dimensional flow fields of the weak shock wave which is discharged from the exit of a duct are numerically investigated using a CFD method. Computations are performed for the weak shock wave in the range below 1.5. The results obtained show that the directivity and magnitude of the weak shock discharged strongly depend upon the Mach number of initial shock wave and are significantly influenced by the ground effects.

  • In recent, a great number of electric motor units (EMUs) have been disused in Korea according as its legal duration is 25 years. Generally, the disused EMUs are disposed by selling original form or scrapping for junk. Until now, any efficient disposal system for disused EMUs has not existed. The purpose of this study was to develop the recycling process for the FRP used as an interior panel of EMU. This process was to manufacture a product mixing binders, fillers and the powdered FRP. The characteristics of a product were changed with the mixing ratio of the powdered FRP. The optimal ratio of the powdered FRP was from 10 % to 15 % (w/w). In the future, the application of this process can enhance the efficiency of resource recycling and decrease the cost of waste treatment in the EMU industry.

  • This paper presents the system of analyzing data in memory of TCMS. This system can show physical data in memory to text and graphic : format. To transfer data from TCMS to this system, a large number of system have used to memory IC card. the method of using memory IC card as a intermediation has many points at issue, that is a speed of transmitting data, life time of IC card and identity of train system each other. So this paper proposes that the method of wireless LAM be adopted by this system to improve the week point of previous method and other method to better the method of wireless LAN.
