Using the notion of soft sets, the concepts of the soft transfer, support and soft algebraic extension of an int-soft subalgebra and ideal in BCK/BCI-algebras are introduced, and related properties are investigated. Conditions for a soft set to be an int-soft subalgebra and ideal are provided. Regarding the notion of support, conditions for the soft transfer of a soft set to be an int-soft subalgebra and ideal are considered.

In this paper we introduce the notion of NI near-rings similar to the notion introduced in rings. We give topological properties of collection of strongly prime ideals in NI near-rings. We have shown that if N is a NI and weakly pm near-ring, then $Max(N)$ is a compact Hausdorff space. We have also shown that if N is a NI near-ring, then for every $a{\in}N$, $cl(D(a))=V(N^*(N)_a)=Supp(a)=SSpec(N){\setminus}int\;V(a)$.

In this paper, we will introduce the notion of the real quadratic function fields of minimal type, which is a function field analogue to Kawamoto and Tomita's notion of real quadratic fields of minimal type. As number field cases, we will show that there are exactly 6 real quadratic function fields of class number one that are not of minimal type.

In this paper, we present a new definition of conjugacy that can be applied to an arbitrary semigroup and it does not reduce to the universal relation in semigroups with a zero. We compare the new notion of conjugacy with existing notions, characterize the conjugacy in subsemigroups of partial transformations through digraphs and restrictive partial homomorphisms.

A semantics for logical necessity, based on Carnap's criterion of adequacy, is given with respect to the ontology of logical atomism. A calculus for sentential (propositional) modal logic is described and shown to be complete with respect to this semantics. The semantics is then modified in terms of a restricted notion of 'all possible worlds' in the interpretation of necessity and shown to yield a completeness theorem for the modal logic S5. Such a restricted notion introduces material content into the meaning of necessity so that, in addition to atomic facts, there are "modal facts" that distinguish one world from another.

In the paper [Y. B. Jun, B. Davvaz and A. Khan, Filters of ordered semigroups based on the fuzzy points, JIFS 24 (2013) 619-630]. Jun et al. discussed the notion of (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k$)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters as a generalization of the notion of (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters of ordered semigroups. In this article, we try to obtain a more general form that (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k$)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters in ordered semigroups. The notion of (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k^{\delta}$)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters is discussed, and several properties are investigated. Characterizations of an (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k^{\delta}$)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filter are established. A condition for an (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k^{\delta}$)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filter to be a fuzzy left (resp., right) filter is provided. The important achievement of the study with an (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k^{\delta}$)-fuzzy left (right) filter is that the notion of an (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k$)-fuzzy left ( right) filter and hence an (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy left (resp. right) filter are special cases of an (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q_k^{\delta}$)-fuzzy left (resp. right) filter, and thus several results in published papers are becoming corollaries of our results obtained in this paper.

This paper aims to critically discuss the place-marketing strategy that has been widely seen as an alternative way of regional development for the last decade in South Korea. In particular, it argues that the place-marketing strategy is highly likely to intensify the inter-local or inter-urban completion and to result in the territorialization of places because it is based on the essentialist notion of place that has been suggested by the humanistic geographers. In order to logically support my argument, I will critically review the essentialist notion of place, and introduce an alternative notion of place, in which the place is seen as socially constructed through complicated power relations and social, political and cultural processes. Also, I will logically demonstrate that the place-marketing can be seen as a strategy for territorializing places by discussing how territory is socially and politically constructed as a particular form of place.
