  • Even though the notion exists that wall paper has got a short durability for interior decoration in terms of paper's nature, it can be the most important element among the modern dosing wall papering because of the variation of the walls visual effect. Wall paper hasn't been preserved well according to the paper's character and official records haven't been done well. So, by studying a case in which a room is maintained well, seeing various commercial samples which were used for an advertisement and reading several booklets it is possible to study historical evidence. In regard to wall paper and Papering. data, the commercial historic nature of the traditional wall papering has been recognized again in order to study the root of the technical and commercial background. In theory, the historic background research of traditional wall paper in the past is said to have established its theoretical system and the development of modern wall papering in the middle of Britain in 18th century. Through the theoretical study of wall papering, the following things have been researched: handling don the method of the traditional wall papering and lining paper, stylization of pattern by using the method of continual linking, subdivision of commercial cost and specialization of wallpaper, handing down the past traditional adhesion method, the origin of string wallpaper, utility of traditional wallpaper and its various abilities, the change from the face to face linking to duplicated linking, the development of DIY products by women's wallpaper selections. Put against other materials, wallpaper remains the most popular and preferable product for managing a wall and provides a decorative, wall dosing technique. This study can estimate the source of wallpapering history in order to create a systemic approach towards the future's wallpaper industry. • The purpose of this study is to provide some necessary baseline data to the information prodigy related research through the study on the brain left/right tendency of information prodigies. Subjects were 298 gifted students(59 information, 79 mathematics, 80 science, 40 invention, 40 social science) and 114 general students summing up 412 in the schools of Daejeon metropolitan area. 'Brain Tendency Test' developed by Torrance and modified by Ko in Korean was used as a tool to measure the prodigies' brain tendencies. Data analysis has been done with the $x^2$ test of frequency with the alpha = .05. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The information gifted students have tendencies of utilizing right brain hemisphere at the most, both left/right brain(whole brain) utilization at the second, and left brain utilization at the last. 2) There was statistically no difference between information prodigies and general students in the left/right brain tendency. 3) There was statistically mild evidence to support the notion that there are some differences in the brain tendency between the group of information prodigies and the group of other area of the prodigies. The degree of inclination to utilize the whole brain hemisphere for the prodigies of the other area was the highest compare to other left/right brain utilization while the information prodigies tend to utilize the right brain hemisphere at the most. 4) The female information prodigies have tendencies of utilizing while brain area at the most, right brain utilization at the second, and left brain utilization at the last contrary to the brain utilization tendencies in the male information prodigies which are the same as the brain utilization tendencies of the information prodigies. However there was no difference in brain tendencies statistically between the two groups since the female subjects were too small.

  • This paper deals with the novel concept of neo-endogenous rural development which has been applied to explain the contemporary features of the European rural development. The notion of neo-endogenous rural development has been emerged in Europe because the pervious dichotomous concepts of exogenous and endogenous development are no longer useful for explaining the relationship between the local actors and the central or regional administrative organisations. The concept argues that the changing situation of rural regions at the initial stages of endogenous development could only be identified by the concept of neo-endogenous perspectives. Therefore, it tries to apply the concept for the Korean rural development policy which is called Regional Agricultural Cluster scheme. Explaining the development processes and the problems of the farmers group which carried out the project in a local level, this paper argues that the severe conflict between the farmers group and the City Office may be a typical incident of the neo-endogenous development. It expresses the power relations between the local groups and the political managing authority. With the case of the Prundle, it concludes that the neo-endogenous development is the essential stage for all the endogenous development to go through as an transitional one.

  • The bone mineral density built in adolescence and college term is formed to the highest level between 25 years old and 35 years old and the formed bone mineral density is decreasing in the middle years and senescence. Decrease of the bone mineral density causes Osteopenia and an increase of dangerousness of a bone fracture which become social health problems. This research is to give guidance for the right living style by surveying the relation between the bone mineral density and college students' life. The result is like below. First of all, most objects of the research were insufficient of quantity of motion and the diet they have was consisted of instant food. It was far from the right living habit and exercise and the bone mineral density was also low. Second of all, male students showed more osteopenia than female students in this research and the smokers' bone mineral density was lower than nonsmokers, which proved that smoking in adolescence was related to the bone mineral density. Finally, the opportunistic eating and living style and the excessive diet and unequal caloric intake caused by the notion of preference for a slim person are considered to be the main reasons for the decrease of the bone mineral density.

  • In the ancient time wind is considered as the life . soul and the human's breath which represents essence of universal creation and the absolute power and also the messenger of the god or god's state. Greek's 'pneuma' , India's 'Brahman' and the Old Testament's 'ruach' are used to signify the wind. Also Wind(風) in traditional culture, it is related to 玄妙之道 of 花郞, the flower of youth in Shilla dynasty and sexual intercourse in shaman's dream which can be thought as Freud's libido. In this aspect we can see the connection between the wind and the libido which can be meaning of sexual desire. Ancient Chinese wrote word ‘風’ as phoenix, the god's bird, the phoenix in inscriptions on bones and tortoise carapace(甲骨文) because one can feel the wind but can’t see it. The word Ki(氣) origins from 風 therefore 風 is 氣's fundamental notion. The wind can be understood by ki which travels around the world to create all nature. And the Wind is associated with 風化, 玄鳥, 八僧舞, which are related with reproduction. In the book of change (周易) the 震巽卦 ; 雷風 come under wind which means the function of ki and also menas the 精(essence of life) of 恒久(eternity) means the reprodution ; that performs succession of life. In the Oriental Medicine 氣 is a phenomenon that appears by movement of Ki by 相火(Ministerial fire). 相火 is core of the succession of life which means preservation of descendants; therefore 風 has very similar concept with sexual desire. 風 is the beginning ki of universe and in human body aspect 風 belong to the Liver Meridian. If 風 makes movement then the Pericardium Meridian of Hand Kwolum responds and the genital organs which belongs to Liver Meridian of Leg Kwolum reproductive function by contraction and expansion. Generally 風 understood as movement and origination and this is recognized as meaning of 氣. Therefore as studied above the present writer believe m. participates closely to reproductive function.

  • Pine nut oil (PNO) is well known to impart beneficial effects in overweight individuals, but the mechanisms underlying PNO-mediated weight loss remain unclear. To investigate how PNO promotes weight loss, its composition was determined by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). In addition, the effects of PNO on cytotoxicity, lipid accumulation, expression of lipid metabolism-related biomarkers, and leptin secretion were assessed in 3T3-L1 cells. GC-MS analyses revealed that PNO contains several components, including linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid. Moreover, PNO did not have a cytotoxic effect on 3T3-L1 cells. However, it inhibited the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) and adipocyte protein 2 (aP2). Finally, PNO significantly increased leptin secretion in a dose-dependent manner. Taken together, these results support the notion that PNO is useful for weight management in overweight individuals.

  • In this paper, we propose a probabilistic framework to predict the interaction probability of proteins. The notion of domain combination and domain combination pair is newly introduced and the prediction model in the framework takes domain combination pair as a basic unit of protein interactions to overcome the limitations of the conventional domain pair based prediction systems. The framework largely consists of prediction preparation and service stages. In the prediction preparation stage, two appearance probability matrices, which hold information on appearance frequencies of domain combination pairs in the interacting and non-interacting sets of protein pairs, are constructed. Based on the appearance probability matrix, a probability equation is devised. The equation maps a protein pair to a real number in the range of 0 to 1. Two distributions of interacting and non-interacting set of protein pairs are obtained using the equation. In the prediction service stage, the interaction probability of a Protein pair is predicted using the distributions and the equation. The validity of the prediction model is evaluated for the interacting set of protein pairs in Yeast organism and artificially generated non-interacting set of protein pairs. When 80% of the set of interacting protein pairs in DIP database are used as teaming set of interacting protein pairs, very high sensitivity(86%) and specificity(56%) are achieved within our framework.

  • This paper describes comparison and analysis of methodology which enables us in order to search the projection technique of optimum for projection in the plane. For this methodology, we applies the high-dimensional facial motion capture data respectively in linear and nonlinear projection techniques. The one core element of the methodology is to applies the high-dimensional facial expression data of frame unit in PCA where is a linear projection technique and Isomap, MDS, CCA, Sammon's Mapping and LLE where are a nonlinear projection techniques. And another is to find out the methodology which distributes in this low-dimensional space, and analyze the result last. For this goal, we calculate the distance between the high-dimensional facial expression frame data of existing. And we distribute it in two-dimensional plane space to maintain the distance relationship between the high-dimensional facial expression frame data of existing like that from the condition which applies linear and nonlinear projection techniques. When comparing the facial expression data which distribute in two-dimensional space and the data of existing, we find out the projection technique to maintain the relationship of distance between the frame data like that in condition of optimum. Finally, this paper compare linear and nonlinear projection techniques to projection high-dimensional facial expression data in low-dimensional space and analyze it. And we find out the projection technique of optimum from it.

  • Web caching has become an important problem addressing the performance issues in web applications. In this paper we propose a method that enhances the performance of web caching by incorporating the expiration time of web data we introduce the notion of the effective reference probability that incorporates the effect of expiration time into the reference probability used in the existing cache replacement algorithms .We formally define the effective reference probability and derive it theoretically using a probabilistic model. By simply replacing probabilities with the effective reference probability in the existing cache replacement algorithms we can take the effect of expiration time into account The results of performance evaluation through experiments show that the replacement algorithms using the effective reference probability always outperform the existing ones. The reason is that the proposed method precisely reflects the theoretical probability of getting the cache effect, and thus, incorporates the influence of the expiration time more effectively. In particular when the cache fraction is 0.05 and data update is comparatively frequent (i.e. the update frequency is more than 1/0 of the reference frequency) the performance enhancement is more than 30% in LRU-2 and 13% in Aggarwal's method (PSS integrating a refresh overhead factor) The results show that effective reference probability contributes significantly to the performance enhancement of the web cache in the presence of expiration time.
